How many "rumored" waves are still floating out there? I ask because Hasbro usually reveals one entire wave and then fragments from others during SDCC. Would like to see if there's any merit to these "rumors".
I remember hearing about a X-wave with Polaris and then a Wolverine wave. I think there might have been another or two alleged waves. It's assumed we'll get something from Thor, Spider-Man Homecoming and GOTG but nothing to my knowledge has leaked yet. I do suspect though that next year is going to go something like this if they have 9 waves again (assuming that the second X-wave and Spider-man wave rumored are indeed for this year) First third of year: Spider-Man wave 1 GOTG wave 1 Wolverine Second third of year: Spider-man wave 2 (focusing on Homecoming) GOTG wave 2 Thor wave 1 Final Third of year Spider-Man wave 3 X-Men wave (technically second X-Men wave considering Wolverine but we'll just leave it at X-men wave) Thor wave 2. I'm saying all this because it's a very heavy movie year (3 and Wolverine!) and also if the X-wave does sell like I suspect it will, they may indeed try to do 2 X-related waves a year. Between that and the movies there isn't much room for a general Marvel/Avengers wave. Last edited by Captain Nash; 07-12-2016 at 09:54 AM.. |

Thanos, Ultron, Mephisto, the Watcher, Anti-Venom, Cloak and Dagger, and I think that's it. Truthfully, some fit better than others. Cloak and Dagger, for example, are way to big to fit in scale but they are the only representations of these characters that haven been made so far (not counting the Toy Biz pre-legends 2 pack). I might have a few more, but these are the ones that come to mind.

I dig the new Spidey Headsculpt there. I was always kind of curious what a Scarlet Spider head with weblines would look like. Don't think I want to try going through the effort to just get him. The others in the set do look great though!

Alex also turned into an asshat when he and Wasp had a kid in a future that was undone. So in this future of Earth-616 which was made worse by the Apocalypse twins Wasp and Havok have this kid but then Alex agrees to give the child to Kang the conqueror so Kang can fix everything to be the way it was before albeit begrudgingly. Not only was this done behind Wasp's back but then when Kang unsurprisingly doesn't return their child to them Alex eventually brushes their daughter off as never being real or meant to happen so there's no reason to be upset about it.

Nice haul Raf! I'm wondering when that 3 pack will hit the Toys R Us near me.
I got my hands on a Namor the other day. The Walgreens by my house had one left. When I went to buy it, the cashier had explained that they had 6 in stock and some guy tried to buy all 6. They made him leave one behind because they didn't want him to buy the entire stock. I'm just glad I got mine. |

RAF! Long time no see! Awesome haul! Was the X-men stuff from online or did you actually see it out somewhere?
And you found the 3 pack. Argh hurting for that. I need to get my budgeting in order with that and the SDCC set and and and and lol. |

Anyway, I finished reading Days of Future Past and I highly enjoyed it. I thought the Dante's Inferno story was quite intriguing as was the two parter with Wolverine and the Alpha Flight. Of course, I'm not a fan of Alpha Flight at all, so those were also the weakest of the stories in the book to me. I did love the two issues the book was titled after though. This was my first time ever reading those stories as I've only seen it in adaptation form with the X-Men cartoons and of course, the movie. Nice to finally read the original comic. And the last story with Kitty fighting some demon was confusing, yet enjoyable. Man, these two books now have me wanting to read more. Have they collected the next batch of stories that come after this at all? If not, I'm probably going to get Fall of the Mutants next. Oh, and I just ordered the 5 DVDs of the 90s cartoon off Amazon with some money I just made fro selling off some DCU stuff.

I gotcha. Well, I might not care about Dreadnight since I know absolutely nothing about him, but it might not be worth it to buy just him alone when you would need the other two anyway.

I also recommend just trying to track down the Masterworks collections, though they can get expensive. That will get the you through From The Ashes material at very least. After Fall Of The Mutants unfortunately the trade collections drop significantly, to mainly entail just the crossovers and events. But as Claremont ended his first and best run with issue 280, it really doesn't matter as much. |

They could easily both be Nova, perhaps the other characters will just have to call Rich Nova Prime which is technically his proper title. Nova is one of the few heroes that actually already has a system in place to account for there being multiple Novas serving the corps. Pretty much like how there are many Green Lanterns at once but actually with the Nova Corps it's easier to explain as they aren't sector specific.

If this be true I am very excited about it especially because while I actually enjoyed Sam's story for awhile it has begun to drag.

Right now only Ultron. I was using the select Venom until the Absorbing Man wave Venom was released. Still torn on whether I should replace my select Juggernaut with the new Juggernaut BAF.

Supposedly there was a FOX show in development that was supposed to center around Nemesis, so I wonder if this ordered pilot in reference to that show, or a different one altogether?

speaking of Nemesis, a few pages back there was talk about the Ares wave being hard to find. I honestly felt that Nemesis was THE hardest wave to find of any. The greatest day of discovery I've ever had was when I walked into a Walmart and found the entire wave sitting on pegs. That is the one and only time I ever saw anyone but Daredevil and Punisher at retail and even those two were just maybe one or two other times. But on that day, I literally shed a tear of joy. |
