The Fwoosh has some pics here: SDCC 2016 Preview Night: Additional Hasbro Pictures | The Fwoosh
Looks like they're using The Blob wave She-Hulk, not sure if that's a good sign or not I can't wait for that Angela Not sure if anyone noticed, but I spotted a completely different Blade in that dio from the unreleased one. He is sleeveless, is sporting the same Blade head of the original, has twin sword sheathes like the new Deadpool, and is shooting at Morbius, (behind Ghost Rider on that sweet looking custom display bike.) Could a new Blade be in the works? Edit: Just saw a new better pic, and oh shit...it is a new Blade. Looks like it's using the new Winter Soldier body, so I can't tell if it is a custom or not, but oh man...that looks sweet! Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 07-21-2016 at 05:16 PM.. |

You're so right. Mike De La Paz does remind of Deodato Jr. Didn't made the connection, but is there. I'll post my Ms Marvel figure pic.
Thanx por the Angela pic. Looks great. Can't say I'm a huge fan. But hey, she's a girl, and my ML display is testosterone heavy, so she will go great with my cosmic shelf. My choice for Monica would be her classic avengers appearance with the big lower Afro and bat-wings. It's a very outdated look, very 80's, but that's how I met her, and even as a child, I though that was pretty balls, even if I love the original Captain Marvel. I was not happy he was dead. Loved Monica as CM2 but then I was also bored with her. The writers didn't know what to do with her. She was far more interesting on Next Wave. And I love all the clever Ultimates characters, and having an all ethnic team of Avengers. I think it's genius. She, for sure deserves a figure. |

Honestly, because it would be hard to pull off a well-done figure due to large chunks of plastic hair. If they did it like the exclusive, the weight of the hair would just turn it into a tripod/figure stand. If they did massive tentacled hair, the figure would become too top-heavy and never stand. Also, the more dynamic the hair, the more lost points of articulation. Put too much hair here, you can't move an arm there, etc.

Speaking of Blade, I wish Hasbro would give us a Dracula figure, and give us swappable heads with vampire versions of Jubilee and Storm...lol |

@Trivial
Maybe. It does appear to have the armored vest of the original Winter Soldier from the WS&BW 2pack, which was what the proto sported...but the arms are definitely new. |

I kind of like the original Spidey 2099 look too... Can I admit that?

It's different altogether. The vest is a separate removeable piece, this Blade appears to have a waist crunch, and the hips and sculpting on the legs looks different, closer to black jeans or trousers. It also has a holster large enough that can fit Fantomex's pistols...

The new Ultimates are on the main Universe. Blue Marvel And Monica are the main guys. The art and the stories are very cosmic and forward thinking. Not a kiddies book. Plus his son plays a roll, and his main opponent ( I think). It's quite beautiful to look at too. Like a modern Moebious art. I find it mesmeririzing.

I am very confused. Was there a Blade released with a vampire head, rather than the Wesley Snipes face? Sorry if I sound idiotic.

There was one originally scheduled for release when the Marvel Knights figures came out, but it was cancelled for whatever reason. It was supposed to be the swap figure for the Thunderbolts Punisher. Since then the head has found its way onto casting sites allowing us to create the exact figure that Hasbro intended to give us (fellow Arker Ken2474 had a nearly perfect rendition of that original figure,) but as far as an official release we've never received one other than the Wesley Snipes figure back in the Toy Biz days.

Did not mean that to sound like a challenge, you're probably right. The "maybe" was meant as, "yeah, maybe one is in the works." @Raf Thanks, dude! You haven't seen that set? Well then, of course I will take this opportunity to shamelessly re-post an obscene amount of photos for your viewing pleasure...and my own self-indulgence! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() shortened it a bit... |

Thou I gotta be honest, my Blade wears a red jacket, big Afro and green shades. I'm ancient in this forum. I am aware. |

'Your Blade' is my favorite Blade also. I didn't grow up reading that Blade, but I did a lot of back issue reading as an 80's kid. Those Vampire Tales were awesome with a capital AWESOME!

ALL OF MY YES.
Look at that Dazzler. Oh my god I think I'm gonna cry. She looks perfect! The color-fade on the energy effect REALLY works here. And she's got the roller-skates and the microphone! Angela looks amazing too, though I'm hoping that gold gets a bit more spruced-up before release. Either make it shinier, or darker. That could be due to the nature of the image, though (screen-grab of a livestream, and not a still-camera photo). Sam is so small and looks like he'll sit very nicely with Kamala and Miles. I know a lot of people are kinda 'eh' on him, but as a figure he looks like a welcome collection addition. |

@ariel
Haha! Great extended FF set-up, man! That right there is what this hobby is all about too! SOOOO jealous of your Dragon Man!! Can I tell you that I held one in my hand at Jim Hanley's Universe (famous comic store in Manhattan - now known as JHU) when it first came out and didn't buy it for $20?!?!?! I have lived to thoroughly regret it...to make matters worse, there were like five of them. |
