I really don't want to pay more than the $120 plus tax, shipping etc. But I will if I have to, and especially if that's the only way to get Enchantress. What I will not do is go through ebay to pay for all the figures piecemeal just becuase someone though it be more profitable to sell the figures individually than in a set. of course in that situation I wouldn't be trying to get "all" the figures just one or two at most. But still...more money for less. |

That is my hope, I just don't know enough about it. And mind you that's just what someone says, but I thought it worth reporting here. I hope they're wrong and they brought out another truck load.

Nope, she is/was the Black Queen Of the Hellfire Club, introduced in the late 80's so not the Dark Phoenix Saga Black Queen, but has pretty much held that title since her introduction. Pretty much just an X-Men foe, but honestly I've always felt that she should expand, she'd pretty much have no problem being one of Marvel's Top Tier villains if they gave her the push. She does know magic though, can take shadowforms, and has telekenisis over inanimate (non living) objects, but as the world's oldest mutant (even older than Apocalypse by a good estimated 10,000 years) her primary mutant ability is she is a vampire of sorts, she feeds of the life energies of beings rather than their blood, typically leaving them as a lifeless husk. She's also ruthless and unrepentant in her evilness, putting her up there with Red Skull and Purple Man as Marvel's most vile villains.
I could be a little biased though. But don't worry, I won't obsess about her like I did with Polaris LOL. As much as I'd love for her to be made, I know there's almost no chance, so I'm not going to expend the energy on it. Much rather push for characters that have a large fanbase that are more likely to get made, you know? |

youre forgeting about the BAF almost all males in different bucks(cept for jubilee), and the wrecking crew buck , and the ultron buck (comic version), ghost rider , cable, and ghost buck, and now the new sunfire buck. and ofc the ones your forgot equal to the ones you listed.
Edit: I forgot to mention the Ultron body, which resides in the same category as those mentioned above (it's only been used on comic Ultron and Ultimate Beetle - I can't see it being used anywhere else at the moment).. When I say template, I mean the bases that Hasbro utilise for many characters, but in that regard I agree that the Coulson/suited body is now a template. So, even though Mockingbird has some unique tooling, she's still on the slender female template, whereas someone like Taskmaster is on a completely unique body, and there's no evidence that it's a new template as of yet. However the new "slim-muscular" mold as seen with Sunfire and Kris Anka's Spider-Man 2099, and the "medium-muscular" mold as seen on Spider UK will most definitely be templates for many more figures to come. This does not mean that Hasbro will have to redo all their previous figures (I've not seen any evidence to show that these new bodies will be taller than the current ones), merely that characters will have more variety in the future. It's really as simple as that. Last edited by VonPooten; 07-25-2016 at 09:08 AM.. |

The Wrecking Crew body will certainly be shelved now, given that the only reason they were released on that body in the first place was their creation in 2013 but delayed release (same with Odin wave Iron Fist). Ghost Rider, Ghost, and ASM2 Electro bodies aren't exactly templates, due to Hasbro's limitations to what they can do with them, having only been used for two (?) characters each (A.I.M. mook and Ghost Rider, Ghost and Jack O' Lantern, and Electro and Scourge, respectively).

Latest poll standings are: White Rabbit: 147 Terror: 122 I don't know about the whole male vs female bodies thing, but I wish they would give some of the female bodies better articulation.

No problem. I agree, Songbird has had 50% more votes than the next most popular choice.

I've said this same thing a number of times in the past. As someone who likes to photo these figs in 'action,' I find the lack of articulation for female figs very frustrating.

if they did that, there will be no room for obscure figures anymore cause fans will want updated verisons of the same design and characters I.E jim lee jean grey (which came out fine) and hope (which yea that mold is bad but the head sculpt and and costume design is great) and they will take up slot for new never made characters, but then again maybe there is a reason why some characters never get made.
Between the heels and elbows it is quite hard to pose a lot of the female figures. I'm still trying to pose my She-hulk in such a way that she doesn't look like is showing off her muscles for the camera orsomething.

they will need to be remade if you want them to scale right with the new molds, look at iceman for example he's overly tall (and i think its due to his head needing to be push on lower) then he should be, and as i said before the females do have different heights but the bulkiness is almost the same but this uk mold looks so much more bulky then the bucky cap mold, and thats my problem once again i am not talking about height i am talking about bulk
Who knows which figures will be made on the Spider-UK and 2099 bodies, but they'll fit in fine. Staff Edit Last edited by Joe Moore; 07-26-2016 at 04:37 AM.. |

I know this is Waaaaay out there, 7ish months til Toyfair and maybe even another year before next SDCC, but since we still have yet to see that She-Thor, thinking really good chance she's gonna pop up in the Thor wave(s). Now with Sam Nova, Miles, Ms. Marvel, Falcap, and a rumor for X-23verine she is the only one left that's been around for a while. It's too soon to tell if the new Quasar and Iron Man will be longterm and accepted so I'm not going to count those just yet.
Whoops I forgot about Cho Hulk. I guess he should be getting a figure at some point too. Last edited by Captain Nash; 07-25-2016 at 11:11 AM.. |

I must say I'm not too sure what you mean, because the figures on the Bucky body are fine. Looking at my cabinet I see Daredevil, Vision, Hank Pym, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Hawkeye, Archangel, Cyclops, and Doctor Voodoo using that body, and they look great. None of them need to be updated on the more muscular/just announced body, because they're not those kinds of characters that need bulk, unlike Classic Cap, Namor and Wonder Man, who needed to be made on the Grim Reaper body.

Really though, this is all subjective and how we want our collection to look together all depends on our own interpretations of the characters. I know a couple of pages back a couple of guys didn't like how small the new Abomination was in comparison to the Hulk. Even though official references list him as being shorter than Hulk, we just have a preference for a bigger Abomination in our collection. Really, I don't think even with the new body that any of the Legends are that grossly out of scale to the point where it flat-out doesn't work. |

Daredevil is certainly fine next to the Punisher. I'm not sure of exact measurements, but it makes sense that Daredevil would be less bulky, maybe even shorter than Frank considering he's more acrobatic and flexible, not to mention that the way characters are drawn varies from comic to comic.

This is exactly why I don't like buying carded figs for my loose collection...If they arrive near mint like these two did, it makes it so hard for me to open them.
Anyways, X-Men latest pickups... |

Those are the official measurements, however I find that artists rarely, if ever, depict things accurately. Sometimes characters will be bigger or smaller just for the hell of it.

ok so its cool for people to want kitty(for example) to be scaled off by the official measurements but not many of the males? i mean should luke cage be this big? i see him in comics alot leaner looking then the figure.
