man.....*smh*..sometimes i stop and LOOK at all the figures i have out...and I find I am a bit perturbed at times. I mean DUH..we're all here cause we love action figures...but sometimes i'm like DAMN...the amount of $$ I've spent on figures in my life...sorta bitterssweet..but meh..what ya gonna do.

I actually just looked at my CC bill and was like WTF?!?!..what am i doing....BRUH...pump your brakes. I immediately went on ebay and deleted all the things i was watching/looking at. I HATE that side bar to the right that shows ebay sales...GRRRRRRRRRR....i look at it...click through it...next thing i know..."GOTCHA BITCH" I'm now the proud new owner of something i wasn't thinking about prior to.......*sigh*...the life of an addicted collector....ha My goal is to REALLY stay away from PRIOR RELEASES...except for maybe one here and there, every other month or so as a treat...and not feel like...I MUST HAVE THEM ALLLLL..NOWWWWWW!!!. Now new releases..well that's a different story, cause If i see me a Falcon, Winter Soldier, Kate Bishop 3 pack, etc, I'm on it like stank on doo-doo.... meh.. And then I sit there and realize how cool the things we have on display look, and how much fun we've had hunting for various things, how awesome it feels to snag something that's hard-to-find, how much we've enjoyed goofing around with posing them all... and I realize that every dollar is worth it. We have a lot of memories attached to individual items, funny anecdotes, or just great moments of happenstance that make almost everything in the collection worthwhile. If an item loses its charm, we do get rid of it, but that happens very rarely. So, yeah, it's a lot of money, but... I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hehe, no problem man. I think I was more interested in keeping my streak of always being able to get the exclusive set than actually keeping it. One of the reasons I stopped keeping up with Legends is because I seriously have bins and drawers FILLED with figures that I have zero use for. That includes stuff I bought as fodder, stuff I replaced in my collection, brand new in box stuff, etc... I finally got to the point where I really question everything I buy, and I don't hesitate to cancel stuff if I'm on the fence; I've learned all to well that "well, I'll buy it and sell off what I don't want!" doesn't work unless you're willing to lose money just to get rid of stuff.

I know the "holy crap what the hell delete watchlist" feeling as well. Now with all that being said, if anyone wants to sell their Spider-Man from the SDCC set for a reasonable price, hit me up. I could not justify buying that set either since I had no desire for the other figures. |

I have to say....this Captain Britain is pretty damn awesome. I actually kinda love this design and the way Hasbro has done the gold on the buckles, as Glenn Webb said, gives it a very "Old World" type of feel when combined with the union jack design that makes this figure super appealing. Wasn't expecting to love this figure as much as I do.

Love that Britain. I only wish he came with Excalibur like the 3.75 inch version did. Really wish someone could enlarge that.

I also had to buy another Speed Demon due to QC issues a while back, so fortunately I have some alternate hands I can give him. EDIT: Also picked up Marvel Select Colossus last weekend, and it's a fantastic figure. Honestly, if you're looking for an alternative to the old ToyBiz Colossus, this is a fine figure to have for Marvel Legends. I was a little bit concerned about the scaling, but after looking up a scale chart for various Marvel characters, Colossus doesn't seem too far off. Maybe he has an extra inch or two more than he should have, but it's fairly reasonable. Diamond Select seems more concerned with doing a true 7" scale, while Marvel Legends tends to have their characters a bit taller than they would be in a true 6" scale, so it kinda works out. Yup! Hobgoblin and Electro are both pretty fantastic. Even though Electro's not 100% the classic version I wanted, with that classic head it definitely still works. And Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man are definitely the figures I want to track down most from this new wave.

Pryde of the X-Men - This was a direct to video episode from the 80s featuring the X-Men and was voiced by the GI Joe/Transformers cast. It was pretty bad and they made Wolverine sound Australian. WTF? The plot was pretty generic and felt like it belonged to a multiparter as there was a lot crammed into that 20 minutes. On the other hand, there was a cool nostagia moment for me since this was my introduction to X-Men. Nevertheless, the glasses come off and I give it a 4/10.

That Cap Britain looks good. ************************************************** I was looking at several marvel legends in the Disney store today (while looking for Venom). That's always been a line i just pick one's i really like. I think i own about 12 of them total. I think i want to pick up Black Panther just to have him. I've passed it up several time, but something is making me want it. ************************************************** So..being as though i bought Storm and Stryfe last week...and cyke the week before. I was now the proud owner of a one armed Jubilee. As I stare at her i'm thinking....how can i make this work...aside from standing her in poses that hide her left side. There were NONE to be found on ebay, and i'm DEFINITELY not spending that money on that Magneto because i don't feel THAT particular figure is worth it to me. As a stare at Jubes...i have an idea...i test it out...and go...damn..that'll work. So off to ebay I go and order a second RIGHT arm since those are cheap. .....and VOILA...i present to you for your viewing pleasure.......my TWO RIGHT ARMED Jubilee... ![]()

That two right arm jubilee works you could always just replace the wrong "right hand" with any left hand from the female legends, or you could go my route and get another kitty pryde and put Jubilee's head on it. Thats my plan still waiting on the xmen wave I pre order.

I really wish I had that Jubilee so I could put Gwen's head on it. The coat might be yellow, but it would make a great Gwen body.
