Okay lets be real, not only are we getting a Jim Lee Jean Grey but a White Crown Phoenix, who's hair is so far off the body it can spin round and round. This ladies and gentleman is a great day.

Looking at the face of White Phoenix, and the recent developments in AvX, I am thinking that is Hope, not Jean.

Toy development takes about 2 years from idea to production, so they're always going to be a bit behind in many things. (Unless they are involved in the design process, like a movie line)

well a hawkeye is better than no hawkeye... so does this mean that Hope was planned to be the phoenix for awhile now? coz that only came out recently in comic books.

btw, i heard that hasbro was going to re-release the spider-man: sinister box set sometime this year. anyone hear anything about that?

I don't really do the 6 inch thing anymore but I still have this guy hanging from the vent in my ceiling. I really like the shiny finish they gave him.

That's a long twist-tie thing that keeps a figure in the package if anyone was wondering.

While I won't discredit the possibility, it would piss a lot of people off who actually wanted a white Phoenix Jean Grey. Hope was the Phoenix for literally 2 pages of the last issue of the entire event. That would be a pathetic decision to make it Hope instead of Jean in my opinion but guess we'll see.

Marvelous News is saying they have confirmation of it being Jean.

Does it really matter if it's supposed to be either Hope or Jean? I mean, the two look so similar that they seem pretty interchangeable to me. It could work either way, so long as the package doesn't specifically designate which one it is for MOCers.

i see. i wish theyd just include phoenix as variant to jim lee jean grey. more room for other characters. i am still holding out for a captain america (616) and spider-man re-issue. you notice these core characters are in no short supply when it comes to MU, but in ML they're one of the harder ones to get.

The Black Panther and Hawkeye are must haves for me. I love the new crispy clean ROML sculpts.. But with the Phoenix there is just something about the hair that is killing it for me. It will most likely be a running change for Jean Grey and im hoping this is the 2nd wave for 2013.

That new Hawkeye is a definite buy for me as well, since I have decided to assemble a team of Avengers to defend the valued treasures contained within my mini-fridge! Not really. But they are on top of it. Ha. But yeah, since that team will be made up of my ideal versions of each Avenger, that Hawkeye is a must-have for resembling Bullseye's DH costume so much.

For those curious, so far my team only contains the newest ML Thor, the Avengers movie Captain America, and the Marvel Select Iron Man 2 War Machine with removable mask. I've also ordered the Marvel Select Avengers Hulk.

Hawkeye is a definite for me too!

And you will be so happy with MS Hulk. I got mine only last week, and he is a monster! I prefer his articulation compared to the ball joints of the Hasbro release, and more screen accurate.

I am buying any Legend that appeals to me, favourite characters come first of course, but I don't discriminate, except with Mystique, could've picked her up today, but damn she is ugly...

im actually assembling 3 avengers teams right now! one is classic avengers, one is modern avengers, and last is movie avengers. which makes me kinda sad that they never released a scarjo black widow. maybe next movie? haha of my classic avengers am only missing a hawkeye and wasp/antman, but they're harder to find nowadays. for my modern avengers, im still missing alot since mcfarlane spidey is even harder to find. good thing they're coming out with protector and heroic age hawkeye (though i prefer modern) to complete most of the cast.

I would have to agree...although I don't want to spend $100 on a BAF Red Hulk

Punisher is an easy repaint. Deadpool I have. Electra I would prefer a new mold and Flash Thompson Venom needs to happen soon!
