In my opinion Jean looks better with longer hair, especially since you have fixed it up.

I forgot to bring this up, but I've been reading the first Spider-Man Omnibus over the last two months and it has been quite enjoyable so far (in fact, the first 17 issues were even better the second time around). Lee's stories are just great even if they are cheesy at times. Ditko's art can some times be messy (his Doctor Doom in issue 5 was atrocious), but in the long wrong, he's done some truly excellent work. I just finished the high school graduation issue (28) and the only issue I wasn't a fan of was this one where Mysterio pretended to be a psychologist and made Peter think he was going mad. That one was boring. There have been a lot of excellent stories and I am quite impresed with how story driven this series is for a 60s comic. I love how Green Goblin's identity has yet to be revealed and you've just seen Norman as a background character at times (so you wouldn't even think to suspect him).

I do have to laugh when they have blantantly screwed up character names though, which I hope was intentional, but I have the feeling they were. I mean, in issue 28 Peter calls Liz Allen Liz Hilton while Anna Watson is called Anna Wiltkins in issue 18. Oh, and MJ showed up far earlier than I ever realized. Interesting. I may need to rethink my opinion of her. Flash has been the real oddball as I always thought he was just a straight up loser during this period, but he is actually a good person. I do find it hilarious that he loves Spider-Man and hates Peter.

I've also been slowly reading through the Doctor Strange Omnibus, which has also been enjoyable, but I feel something is missing. I can't place my finger on it, but something is just off about them. The issue with the living house from another dimension was awesome.

Should I stick with this slightly modded look, or with the newer, shorter haired appearance?

Long hair.

Any naming error you see likely isn't intentional. Stan Lee was notoriously bad with names. That's why he named so many characters so that their first and last names both started with the same letter, to help him remember. However, even that didn't always work. He would sometimes accidentally call Bruce Banner "Bob Banner" instead; so they had to retcon his canon name to be "Robert Bruce Banner" to fix Stan's naming mistake.

With the GOTG Vol. 2 Wave 1 dropping in Thailand how long do you think it might take to get to the US? I've been following the news and originally most were aiming for January (either at the end) or February. Now most have changed to March. Just curious to see what others think about it.

Definitely the reveal for the rest of GOTG wave 2 and Spider-Man. Quite possibly the Thor wave 1, though I'm going to say possibly just part of that wave, with it probably shipping around the time SDCC the rest could be "leaked" in the mean time.

I'm still skeptical about getting another X-Man wave and as well as a 3rd GOTG wave (the list that had the 3rd GOTG wave did not have a spot for a second X-wave...so it's going to be one or the other, if either.)

The Groot release (if it's real please be real!!!) and other exclusives as well.

Groot has been confirmed by someone who has a source at TRU. That the exclusive will be in the US and go for $19.99. No release date though. Today he might drop some new ML exclusive reveal stuff don't know too much but when I see it, if possible I'll spread the word. Hoping he has info on the Netflix figures. That would be cool too.

I agree it also could be a 3rd wave for GOTG.

So I just noticed that Hasbro put Green Goblin's purse on the wrong side. I fixed it, but it looks kind of weird having the belt piece on his back.

Speaking of Goblins, what issues did the Hobgoblin that was the BAF appear in? I want to see if my comic shop has them since I want to know a bit about this guy.

Also, there better be a third X-Men wave! I need to have Nightcrawler, Storm, Banshee, Magneto, and Apocalypse!

Well technically Green Goblin's bag doesn't have a wrong side to be on. Some time's it's been drawn as being on his right side, it is most often on his left though.

That Hobgoblin started in Amazing Spider-Man #649. It's Phil Urich trying to do his own thing with the identity after believing he's killed the original. He honestly wasn't Hobgoblin for all that long nor did he do a lot of note before switching to another look and name (still Goblin themed) yet even that didn't last before assuming another Goblin themed title and look. All he really does as the Hobgoblin is get put in his place by the original who he sorta ends up working for.

oh thank you very much! So stoked that Groot is real. I never got the BAF, as I was "meh" on most of the figures or already had versions, so I didn't want to spend money just to get a BAF mostly. so this is very cool I can't wait to get a Groot figure. And baby groot and plant groot too! Beyond awesome, best accessories ever.

Does anyone know when Wave 1 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 will hit the US? Originally it had it slated for January or the end of it, now most preorders are in March. Just wondering what people think.

I'm going to say March for sure, but they may come early and hit stores in February. I would not expect January.

It would make sense in February since the Funko's for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 are coming out then. People did have it at January/February I mean before they changed it to March it was expected to be in stock at some places on January but I know most of those changed to March. Someone on ebay had it also to be expected to be in stock in January/February so I could look back and see if that has changed.

I'll never understand the appeal of Deadpool and why all his figs at any scale are so coveted. The movie was great though.
