I agree I'm really glad since it very well could result in that! Jessica has mostly super strength but just like you said civvie heroes she looks just perfect in that regard. Along with the Punisher. I've always wanted more unknown even civvie characters getting the spotlight. I also know we really need a Luke

Even a two pack of Jessica and Luke!!

There was a rumored/'leaked' list a while back that said we'd be getting a 'Defenders' wave this year, which seems like a good place to slot them. Even with the Netflix series not being kid-friendly, the line is doing double-duty for kids and adult collectors, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

LOL! Only Raf would (even jokingly) bawk at the shipping but not the price ;-)

As for the Netflix figures, remember that because they are portrayed by real people, Hasbro and Marvel both have to pay likeness rights to use their faces. This might be worked into the actors contracts but it can definitely impact things like figures being made.

I hope it's true about that Netflix wave. My wallet could use a break. And people who want them...could get them!

I still think that the GOTG wave 3 is not going to happen and we're going to get either a second X-wave or antoher spider-man wave in the fall. Possibly the same with a Thor wave 2, but since that's the last Thor movie they may want to use it as a last chance for Thor-centric characters.

I know GOTG is a huge brand name now, but 3 waves for it just seems like a bit much.

I agree! Since Sandman wave came in December I believe so I think it's pretty accurate. I know a Wave 2 for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is more than confirmed (bet we'll see that at the Toy Fair) I wonder if the third wave will be GOTG vol. 2 or will it be XMen, Spiderman wave? All of this is just really exciting

Yes, that we can agree on...it's very exiting! Can't wait to see what's next.

I do believe we'll get nine waves this year as listed, and while I'm about 75% sure we'll get a second Thor wave, I'm about half certain a GOTG wave 3 is accurate. I'm torn on the other half guess on that between X-Men (which I'd rather have) and Spider-Man, which is a brand that can carry 3 waves.

Up til now how many brands have had 3 waves for a movie, only Captain America Civil War I think, and we all know how that's played out retail wise. 3 waves for a brand in a year is just too much, unless the brand is completely line wide (like Star Wars)

I really like that Jessica figure, it's a pretty solid likeness.
I suppose it's too much to hope for that she comes with an alternate head with the "Ew. What is wrong with you?" expression that Krysten Ritter captures so perfectly.

And it's probably too late for a Kilgrave figure, but I'd buy one of those right up if Hasbro made one. It would be pretty easy though, just paint Coulson's suit purple and pop a David Tennant head onto it.
