I blame the Logan movie for this, but it also gives me hope for a new ML Gambit fig when the Gambit movie hits.

When I was young I thought Shatterstar was the coolest guy ever. LOL.

I bet whoever spent $330 on Sue Storm is some YouTuber who is trying to get it before anyone else so he can get a lot of views on his review. I'm fine with waiting. None of the Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends figures have been too difficult to find in my area and Fantastic Four isn't particularly popular anyway, so I don't think these will be too hard to get a hold of. When I do find one I'm going to keep her carded until Hasbro produces the rest of the team because from what I've seen, her costume colors don't match any other FF figures made by Hasbro or Toy Biz so far.

If there is a God ( or lucifer im praying to both at this point ) Tatum will NOT be gambit. Sadly though i think he still is which means i eill never watch it cause that guy has all the charm, talent and range of a loaded diaper.

here's an interesting question , how many waves do you think x-men themed legends will last

since the Reboot of hasbro MLS this isn't including con exclusives
we have had
puck wave,
Original x-men pack,
jubilee wave,
juggernaut wave
Warlock wave ,
juggernaut and warlock being the full waves if you like i.e the same treatment as spidey and the avengers

Not sure. But if we can get five BAF: Nimrod, Apocalypse, Sauron, Shadow King (most unlikely) and a Sentinel BAF that would ideally spread between two waves like FFF, that would be six more waves. That would give us about 42-48 characters to make up those waves.

So maybe not including 2017, we will have two each for 2018-2020.

If they only do one X-Wave a year, that would stretch out to 2023.

Hopefully the X-men will continue to be on the rise in Legends. Beyond the traditional waves, I could see quite a few X-men figures being released in the upcoming two-pack format. (Dark Phoenix and Scott are already rumored.)

based on your suggestion i went to an Arts and crafts store and picked up what i needed...
Just so happened to go past a Walmart after that for some other things..found the stuff i needed plus one other thing for a background for a total of 14.00....
Returned all the other things back to the arts and crafts store..

thanks again!!

You know those optical illusions? Like the picture of both the young and old lady? ... I never saw a bare midsection! I saw a black (or at the least a very dark bolt-gun metal) patch of fabric in his costume, reminiscent of (paying homage to) the triangular shape of his original costume. Now I can't unsee.

So very much looking forward to this wave! First BAF in a while I've been excited about.
Don't care for Jim Lee Cyclops (don't shoot!), but will have no trouble reselling him.
And Dazzler's hair would not have been my choice. Too specific for my taste.

YAY! Marvel Legends!

(Not Pictured because I'm a lazy arse) Jackal - Awesome figure, awesome sculpt, and he's a Spider-Man villain so I'm always down with that.

Ms. Marvel - Pretty good figure, have to free up those ankle joints though. Wish the arms had a bit more articulation since it's kinda hard to utilize them in any cool way. Great face sculpt.

Shocker - I'm legitimately shocked (heh) how much I love this figure. I seriously can't put it down. I love Shocker, but even ignoring that, this figure just has something about it that I love.

Green Goblin - I'm torn. Love this Green Goblin, but I do have the old one. I like the glider and head better on the old ToyBiz figure, but the overall body is better on the Hasbro one, plus it (obviously) matches up perfectly with Hobgoblin. Gotta see about doing a head swap and maybe some minor repainting. Even still, the head comes across much better in person than in photos and while I still think the head sculpt is awesome, the ToyBiz one is just the exact image that comes to mind when I think of ol' Gobby.

Black Suit Spider-Man - xasdaatdsgysfksyfaelagflsgysisfigsisaoyvfysuflagsa tsasasgisaas!!!!!!!.......THAT IS ALL

Partially built Sandman - This figure is pretty cool I guess. IDK, Hasbro has to work on their QC or something, my figure doesn't have any arms. He just has these nubs that are shaped like a sledgehammer and mace. I don't remember Sandman taking on this form in the comic books.....but in all seriousness, I can't wait to get this guy fully built, he's also looking incredible. Definitely replacing the SDCC one in my collection. Gotta see about turning that figure's arms into some regular arms for this one. Loving the detail on these weapons and I love the battle-damaged head.

Don't have Spidey 2099 or Spidey UK, I guess I saved the worst for last. TBH I don't really care about either figure all that much, but I'm gonna get them anyway because they're on the new body and I'm a filthy whore when it comes to Marvel Legends. Honestly, I'm kinda burnt out on getting these weird offshoot Spider-Men and the new Spidey 2099, while a cool suit, seems kinda redundant when I already have one. Wish we could get just a little less Spider-Men per wave and more Spider-Man villains and other associated characters. I was obviously not gonna say no to Black Suit Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Miles Morales, original 2099 and both Ben Reilly suits were more than welcome, but all of this other Spiderverse stuff I just don't care for.

agree, however i stated in my original post i prefer this upcoming colossus instead of the MS version which others brought up. Also the MS version of him and the toy biz version are both based on his 80s costume with with undies and long boots.

looking at this new Colossus...i actually think the alternate head along with his upper body repainted to be shirtless...would be a pretty slick look...

No worries, man. Like most other people, I'm teaching myself this as I go on. Everything I do is a combo of luck, intuition and experimentation. I've no formal picture taking training, and it shows, I think. I allow the feedback of others, or absence of such, to teach me what I do well and what I do poorly.

Unfortunately, my camera doesn't have a wide angle lens (at least I don't think so). This forces me to have to pan too far back to take a photo that captures everything. Above all other elements, posing is my forte (what I enjoy most about the "process") and those elements get lost the further you are from the subject matter. I realized this some time ago when VonPooten offered similar thoughtful critiques to those that you've shared, expressing that he felt cheated out of some of the action on display. That was when I started taking multiple cropped photos from various angles to hit "hot spots" within a display and highlight some of the meticulous work that goes into the creation of convincing poses.

I've many limitations; formalized technical skills, space, pro lights, picture editing software, and a "real" camera. However, I've always said I wasn't going to let not having those things stop me from snapping photos. And I've been able to pull off some successful things with my low-tech guerilla shoots. I've been regarded as professional in some overly gushing compliments, and while I appreciate the love, I also find it hilarious because I am most definitely NOT a pro...and I don't present myself as one. All of this is practice and unlike Alan Iverson, I love to practice things!...pardon the NBA reference.

With all of that in mind, I thank you for your feedback...truly...and I'm happy that you enjoy what I put together. Eventually, I'll own a non twenty dollar decade plus old camera and I will construct a proper space for photos. But even when that happens, there will be many imperfections in my pics...and quite honestly, I prefer it that way. Some pics I see on the internet (of anything, not just toys) are too perfect. The slight patina of "flaws" can sometimes provide character to an image. We live in a world rife with air-brushing and artifice, which in turn creates a falseness within some artistic expression IMO. But I'm sort of an "out of time - out of place" personality in many aspects as it pertains to modern life.

...sorry for the long response, but if you say something well thought out...I (usually) return the favor!

MLK celebrations?, what are we talking here, parades, carnivals, dancing in the streets, nice pics, though i believe to truly pay homage to the man perhaps a couple of pics of those aim soldiers showing a little love, throwin a few hugs instead of punches if you get my meaning, anyway, go have fun
