My other feeling: No Spectrum is disappointing but if it ends up being a Spectrum/Blue Marvel 2 pack I will eat that disappointment with a smile.

Edit: I got my non-ark sites mixed up. iT's from Marvelous news not the other one that I check every so often. sorry!
Where is this list ?? Is it a reliable source or just some speculation from a fwoosh member who claims to work for someone, who works for someone else?

It's actually on marvelousnews as my edit indicates. I'm not sure where they got their info, but I shareallinfo, yes? It may end up being true or not which I also noted, but it's a list

As far as I am aware, the only difference is one is the shiny silver paint and the other is the grey. Otherwise, same figure.

By any chance, was the list from a database with codes and such? Because don't those almost always end up being spot on?
Unless it was some guy saying that his mom seduced the King of Hasbro and she said that he said that we're getting a 1/2 scale Galactus figure whose removable hat converts into a Waffle House. The phonies are generally easy to sniff out.

Sweet christmas, the EE Guardians set for $40. I paid full price on them way back when. Having no patience is expensive.

it's not always just patience...some of these could go either way..and we have no way of knowing initially...

All of them have been their own stand alone stories that you can enjoy without having to watch the next month. Like you can enjoy Winter Soldier without having to watch AoU, IM3, or CW.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Marvel flicks. I just think as of late some(not all) are trying too hard to add connections to other upcoming movies, that the individual films start to suffer/don't reach their full potential. For example without the Thor-Space-Time-Jacuzzi scene and countless others, there could have been more screen time to strengthen the flim's plot and/or to flesh out some characters who desperately needed it. In essence, perfect the current movie before trying to promote/build-up the next.

It was not. It had no codes on it, so that's why I'm taking it with a huge grain of salt, but I did want to pass it along just in case it's true. I think the last list we had that did not have code numbers was the rumored Wolverine themed wave, and I see how far that's come along...not at all. So it's definitely possible it's a fans wishlist instead of what is. We will likely find out next month as I imagine that wave will be revealed at NYTF.

I'm sorry, but he's a moron if he really thinks these things are worth $50.
I guess IM3 isn't completely terrible but it was very underwhelming and let's not even get into the Mandarin bait and switch.

$50 for a Marvel Legends figure is utter nonsense and the guy clearly isn't mixing up dollars and bahts because then he's suggesting they're only worth $1.40. I'm proud of my heritage and all but Thailand is like China's Mexico.

Yeah that kinda bummed me out. Even when I started collecting I couldn't have to remember dealing with excuse my language here on this one folks-fucktards, scalpers that honestly just resell the newest stuff. I first saw it with Funko. Most if you look on ebay the first wave for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 is listed appropriately for $20 or a little more for Pre-order even for worldwide. I just can't stand it when there's a certain someone that tries to ruin it all you know for other collectors like that. Case in point Marvel Civil War Scarlet Witch. She was priced at $50 and higher. I had considered getting the bootleg which was pretty decent.

@Marvelfangirl, I think $40 is a fair limit for newer stuff. That's twice of retail and should be able to find most things for less than $30, but I would definitely not pay more than $40 for anything somewhat current.

After it's no longer current of course, is another matter. somethings you cannot find for less than $40. And of course, exclusives if you gotta have 'em.

@Starlord, glad to see you back on here! I wish you a speedy recovery, as someone with back problems myself I greatly sympathize!

by the way don't take that the wrong way how i asked. i wasn't doubting you, just we've seen numerous lists of supposed waves coming out in the past from someone who knows or works for someone else.

you recall the wolverine wave list that was put out about a year or so ago. that never came to fruition.

Funny enough, I don't hate that. I thought the plot twist was pretty damn clever. The problem is that all of the tension that had been built up for the first 2/3rds of the fizzled out when you learned that the villain was just ANOTHER generic businessman. Also, Pepper should have died.

If you haven't watched it, check out the short "All Hail the King." It might have happened due to the Mandarin backlash, but I think it really sweetens what is revealed in this short. I just hope they go somewhere with it.
