Awesome shots TBM. Is that the armored Beetle subbing in for a Hydra goon? Nice use!

@Kirathis

Thanks, man! Yup! Given the color scheme, I bought a second and removed the wings to serve as a Hydra heavy armor a la Shield's Mandroids. lol

As far as we know there is no MCU version. The cast list for Ragnarok was revealed months ago and the movie has already finished shooting, and yet there's not been a single peep about Enchantress.

Is it possible Enchantress is just a placeholder or will be swapped out? I'm remembering past leaks having characters like Tigra or The Ancient One who were nowhere to be seen when the waves were officially unveiled.

It pretty much has to be since there's already an Unworthy Thor and a movie Thor in the same wave. When was the last time a wave had three versions of the same character (excluding repaints like Astral Strange or Chase variants)?

I think that's possible. I mean I understood since she was a highly requested figured to release her to main market mere months after the SDCC exclusive, but to release another one in a year would be really weird. I bet it will end up being swapped out with someone else like you said in past cases. And of course, this is all just rumor.

That's kind of the same for me. I want:

Elektra
Bullseyes
Blade
Death's Head II
Adam Warlock
Nebula

Of course, if they are the movie/TV versions, I'm more than likely going to pass. The only way I would buy another Thor is if he was the classic comic version.

See for me it's Ares,Executioner,Jessica Jones,Elektra,Nebula, and Adam Warlock. Hopefully they're comic versions but I've learned to swallow my pride and use movie versions if need be as placeholders for comic versions til they arive if ever. And yes I know Jessica,Elektra, and Nebula will be movie/tv versions.

I'm only interested personally in comic based figures. So as far these next few waves, I'm only looking to get Thor (hopefully Jane Foster) and Odinson.

I can't imagine Blade or Bullseye being anything other than comic versions, unless they have some sort of cameo in an upcoming Netflix show, or for some reason Hasbro gives us the Colin Farrel / Sticky Fingaz renditions of those characters that ToyBiz never did...lol.

Elektra though, not sure really. My instincts says that she will also be a comic version, but I wouldn't mind the Netflix version either as I rather dug that look for the show, and I could always use my spare Silk head for a more comic look in a pinch.

As for Ares, he was Thor's "dark" stand in on the Dark Avengers, so I wouldn't mind seeing him. He has also been a pretty highly requested figure since so few ever saw his wave in stores, and his BAF drives some of the highest secondary market prices on ebay.

Executioner is being played by a human actor with human proportions so there's really no need to make him a BAF.

Gonna weigh in on the rumored wave lineups:

Thor Wave: As everyone has said, that Comic Thor is likely going to be Jane Foster, what with the Movie Thor and Odinson/Unworthy Thor already listed. Ares I have no interest in, but I know how much people want him after that BAF wave, so I'm glad to see him there - maybe he'll lead to us getting a new Hercules. I'd initially assume Hela is going to be the MCU version, but given the recent releases of tweaked SDCC exclusives, I think it's more likely that Hasbro will be including a differently-decoed "Book of Vishanti" comics version, which I'm totally all right with - means I'll only be missing Magik. Enchantress, I have no idea, though I'm partially of the same mindset of a few of you, that it's actually a placeholder for a different character - probably Loki (in either classic, teen, or Lady Loki form). Executioner has gotta be the comics version (Karl Urban is great, but not BAF-worthy), which means we'll have to pick him up to go with our Amora.

Knights wave: We already know Jessica, Punisher, and Daredevil are the Netflix versions (Frank and Jess were shown, while Matt was mentioned by Hasbro/Marvel reps at SDCC). The rest I'd assume are comics-based. If so, definitely curious about Elektra. She did nothing for me in the show, but I've always loved her classic costume, and would dig a new figure of it. Small wave, though, and no BAF... gives me hope that they give everyone some good accessories then.

GOTG wave 2: Really don't care about the wave, for the most part, but I'm very curious to see Gamora and Nebula - Nebula is a must-buy if she's the MCU version, but Gamora will have my attention if she's an ML version of her armored costume - then I won't need to get the Marvel Select version. Also, another Star Lord? Hopefully a comics version, and not a repack of the first wave's new Quill.

Where's the Hulk?: I'm guessing that he'll be coming down the line later this year in some capacity.

Oh i new Hercules would be great! I've always said Hasbro has done a really great job over all but their first 2-3 waves they were finding their footing. Loved Annihalus (sp) from that first wave but every other figure needs a redo (except Ultimate figures they can rot lol). Banshee first because he's awful as is, we got an Emma and we're likely getting a Planet Hulk I'm going to guess...which leaves redoing that goofy Herc.

I'd long suspected the Hulk would be the BAF, but I'm guessing not with this wave anyways. I still think we will see another Thor wave. Or he's the replacement for Enchantress (hey they are both green-themed) This is their last chance for Thor-centric characters and I think there's still a lot that they may want to do. Movie/Comic Loki, Sif, Heimdall, Grandmaster, Hulk, Odin as a non-BAF, Ulik, the warriors 3, Destroyer....I just can't see them not doing a second wave to send this particular branch of the franchise out in style.

....interesting... the director has stated that Korg and Miek (from the Planet Hulk storyline) will be appearing in the film. Given that it releases in November, maybe we'll see a blended Thor/Hulk wave later in the year, with some bigger dudes in it? I'd be willing to sacrifice a BAF in exchange for a wave of... heh heh, hulking figures.

That's what I wonder too and yes, so would I. if we got a wave of all larger than normal figures, sacrificing a BAF would be fine in my opinion, since it's likely that several of the offered figures could have been made into BAF.

Unless of course they want to give us a huge Toybiz Style 16 inch BAF. I would not turn that down.

This leads me to wonder, just how encompassing is this movie going to be? I knew they were trying to adapt Planet Hulk but my goodness, will it be a complete storyline or just a mixture of several? I want closure. Ragnarok is coming and somebody better tie up some lose ends. I'm also very excited as they are calling this movie on a level of importance to future MCU movies as Winter Soldier was, especially in regards to a particular character and their role in future movies. If that happens as per rumor, I will be beyond excited, and it actually makes logical sense.

I suspected they were intentionally holding stuff back for a second Thor/Hulk wave. Aside from a new movie Hulk (which c'mon, you KNOW we are getting) there's also a lot of potential characters to pick from. MCU Valkyrie and Loki are obvious but there's also a lot of potential comic figures like Sif and Classic Thor. Villains like Ulik too.

It's crazy that we still don't have a Legends MCU Heimdall. I only recall one movie Heimdall toy in the entire franchise, and I believe it was in the 3.75 scale? Hash tag, free Heimdall. #YesAllAsgardians

They should just give a Thing first and then go from there. Korg is a totally unnecessary knock off figure, IMO. The fact he got a smaller figure was just annoying for Hasbro's inability to give us decent and distinct figures in that line (though that's a conversation for an entire different thread)
