Our collections will begin to look like Greg Land art, copy and pasted women everywhere!
I had called this would happen in the thread earlier.

I would almost guess Satana is the copy of Gamora, because it seemed like this set was to have almost happened earlier with them teasing Star-Lord and rocket for quite some time. I just hope they show some more clear images because it looks like she has a hood on

I was just looking at the picture again and thinking the same thing.

So I decided to say **** IT!! and just ordered a DD off Amazon for $38. Today at TRU they had two of everybody (well four Spideys) but no DDs. I'm tired of trying to get him. I think I'm just going to preorder the Rhino wave when BBTS puts it up.

On the other hand, my g/f picked this up for me today when I was at work:

That's quite a collection 1987olds! How come you don't have so many of your customs on show?

And nice pics Adv! Really looks like still shots from the movie.

That encyclopedia is awesome. I have the previous version, but still great reads.

It's pretty cool, especially for someone like me who hasn't touched a Marvel comic since One More Day and has been kind of out of the Marvel universe loop since 2005 (sans Spider-Man). However, it seems to be missing characters. Sleep Walker, Death's Head II, Peggy Carter, most of the 2099 crew like Ravage, the green potato looking dude (can't think of his name right now), etc, are not present.

I got that encyclopedia from Costco last year and even as a guy who does his best to keep up it's still a very cool book to flip through every now and then. It does have some flaws, for example all three people called Nova are under the same article (Richard Rider is rightfully the focus though) so no one of them feels like a full bit on their own. I guess when so much stuff is being compiled it should only be expected that things get overlooked or jumbled in the heap.

Hey folks. Random pic request. NECA Gears of War 7 inch figs posed with a few Marvel Legends of varying heights. Hulk, Cap, Wolverine, a couple of female figures. Want to see if they scale decently with some camera tricks.

I too have a question, but I just wanted to know if anyone who had a Johnny Storm has head-swapped him and if so what heads work with him? I was thinking the Winter Soldier cap head, but I'm not sure if the pegs are the same.

Which Johnny Storm figure? Also, any head works with any body, you just have to either adjust the peg size or dremel the head out.

Not yet in fact I don't think they've even released in package pictures of this or any of the future waves so probably gonna be a while yet.

That'd be a bit difficult to pull off. All of the Gears are only supposed to be around the six foot tall area (I think Cole is the tallest at 6'4") so reckonin' their toys are all an inch or so taller than Marvel Legends wouldn't factor so well, they'd all become Hulk sized with the Marvel Legends. I have four of the smaller Gears figures and those scale kinda decently with Marvel Universe figures but not greatly, but to pull of the scale difference with the normal sized figures would probably not work so great unless you plan on having all of the Legends/Gears look like they're in the distance. They're out of scale and on paper this will definitely require some trick photography but you can pull it off if you want to I think. For a sort of comparison here's Ash with Carnage, Ash is just a tad shorter than the average NECA figure because of his spread legs and Carnage is pretty standard ML size so this gives something of an idea of how they size up.

Ash is pretty much a half head taller and like I said he's a tad shorter than the average NECA figure but with some work you can probably force the Gears to work.

Don't forget Ghost Rider is in that wave too. The Rhino BAF Spider Man wave.
I am already gonna need 3 of Chameleon so I can have a JJJ and Hammerhead as their own figures.
