I'm working on a custom Enchantress and Executioner. Watch they get made now.

I'm holding off. I never did start on my Enchantress custom from my spare Scarlet Witch but I'm waiting at this point I want to see what's coming. If she's announced I'm not going to do it. As for Executioner you may as well, he's on the voting list which means they haven't got him in a lock, and he may not even make the cut.

As is always the case. Luckily I had a little voice in my head tell me not to do Daredevil last year, so I held off. Come New York in October, we found out we were getting one, so I was happy because that meant I didn't have to worry about pain rub and could move on to other projects.
I would be willing to bet we're getting Enchantress revealed at SDCC. |

don't we already have like 4 symbiotic spideys?
Angela and Sif hands down. Nebula only if she has a head swap. Mysterio and Lyra are the only other two I would be cool with. The rest are whatever. I just don't want to see another symbiote Spider-Man or that Cosmo getting the vote when we can have a new and fully articulated character. I have a suspicion there's a Thor and Guardians wave in the future—hence why most of the characters are cosmic or asguardians, so Im betting Angela or Nebula would be a swap with a more modern Gamora or Mantis in a wave. either way IF they come out with new version of the black costume spidey, i would be sure i'd pick up 2 of them. one to open and one to keep sealed. you look at any previously released special costumed spidey figures and they are all fetching top dollar and ridiculous asking prices on ebay. While everyone is on the topic about all the other characters to vote for, remember one thing guys. not alot people even know of some of these characters unless your really into the comic scene. there is one thing for sure all kids and parents know whom spider-man, captain america, GOTG are thats for sure. |

If it gets us any closer to other Marvel animal figures (Lockjaw!), then I'm voting Cosmo. =) Anyone voting Symbiote Spidey is nuts for wasting a slot on him... even if you don't like any of the previous versions, he's seriously one of the easiest customs anyone can knock out regardless of skill level (especially with Superior Spock coming out in the Rhino wave).

Exactly. Forget Hydra and AIM agents, Madrox would make them a fortune! Have three different head sculpts and a couple of different hands and they're set. I am with you on buying dozens of those, my fan sense tingles at the idea of having 40 Madrox figures storming a diorama!

Cosmo = HELL YES! Other than that I would go with Quasar (modern costume please), Darkhawk, Nova (Sam) and Nebula. Other than that...meh. Although of course it will end up being yet another symbiote Spidey...sigh Considering Strange is in the Hulkbuster set and it is a Strange focused SDCC box, I would be highly surprised if there is a Strange wave next year. |

Simply because a character isn't Iron Man or Storm levels of famous it doesn't mean that they aren't popular within the community, or that there aren't a lot of people who would love them to be realised in figure form. I say give the lesser-knowns a chance, rather than vote for an 84th ML Spider-Man figure, but that's just my two cents. |

I think Black Costume Spidey is a sure bet regardless of the poll results since he's already been rumored along with an Eddie Brock Venom. They seem like good wave mates and the black costume is one of his more popular ones.
I think ChuckSass is on the right track about the GOTG and Thor waves. Both have movies coming out in 2017 so Hasbro may be wanting to round out those waves with some "wins" instead of duds like Space Armor Iron Man. |

I get that, but isn't the demographic for this poll the teen/adult collectors who are already fans? On that note, surely we all buy these figures because we're fans of Marvel and of their mythos? If Hasbro announces a figure of a character who you don't know but who you think looks interesting, pick up a comic or read their Wikipedia page! You might become a fan of them and be excited for when the figure is released.

I know it's a long shot, but I'd love to see Hasbro take another shot at the Fantastic Four. I feel like The Return of Marvel Legends line that started in 2012 was the dawning of a new era, and I'd love for the F4 to be a part of this era. At the very least a Reed Richards figure for my New Avengers display. We've already got Black Panther (though I feel like between now and his movie release date we'll get an updated version) Marvel Now Iron Man, and Doctor Strange. A Mr. Fantastic, Namor, Beast, and Black Bolt(single release) would be awesome.

Quasar is well overdue.
Of the proposed SDCC list: I'm interested in Cosmo, Darkhawk, Angela, Nebula, Sif and The Hood (Ulik would be cool too, but not a must). However, Wendell (Annihilators uniform) tops the list as a cosmic heavy-hitter that I sorely miss within my collection. That said, I freely admit my Marvel-cosmic bias. ...and of course, if they want to throw a new Surfer my way...or Namor...I'm good with those offerings also...although they are not figs in contention, I feel updates are necessary. Only a couple of more days. I got a solid top 20 most wanted and I am just hoping I get to see 2 or more of them revealed.....
Who knows I might get lucky. I downsized my X-Men related hopes and only have 5 out of my top 20 and only 7 out of my top 30 are X-related. Who knows.... Last edited by Captain Nash; 07-07-2015 at 07:54 PM.. |

Namor is a must!! The last one was weak. With the new barefoot buck that they are doing the Target three pack vision on... We'll It seems like a no Brainer. I hate the X-men/FF embargo... I really want FA Storm, Polaris, Sunfire and Thunderbird!

Once again, if they made a wave for Ant-Man, they'll make one for Dr. Strange. He's less obscure than the Guardians of the Galaxy were prior to their cinematic debut (if only a little bit so). From a marketing perspective, it only makes sense to do a Dr. Strange wave. Yes, he's somewhat obscure, but the whole point is to push the character to a greater level of public awareness. It won't be a full retail product line by any stretch, but it'll be basically like what we got for Ant-Man: A Wave of Legends and a couple side-items. It also may be subject to change: If Ant-Man is a big hit and the product disappears from shelves, Dr. Strange may get a boost. And beyond all that: If there really is a ban on X-Men/FF based figures, Hasbro needs to milk the catalog for all its' worth. Not doing a Dr. Strange wave would be stupid in that instance. Quote:
Disney isn't likely to starve Fox out with this approach, but they can make life annoying for them, which is the point. It's dirty business...but it's business. |

I think raising questions to Hasbro about X-Men/F4 figures can either be a good or a bad thing, depending on how it's done. If it's not done in a needling way but purely out of love for the characters I think that's fine.
ANother thing to consider is if Hasbro has the licenses for those characters and is just being encouraged by D/M to not make the figures, or if D/M has actually put a ban on those figures and Hasbro cannot even make them. It seems that D/M has pulled licenses for these characters from most companies but if there were any company that they'd want to "work with" it would be Hasbro. Hasbro's a pretty big company in its own right, and while you don't want to piss off your licensers, you also don't want to piss off a huge toy producer like that. So if they are just encouraged to not make those figures but do have the licenses, there's still a chance they could go against the grain and release very limited selections. On the other hand if it's an outright ban and they don't have the licenses, there's no chance. It would just be very interesting to know the behind the scenes on this particular agreement but I know that will not be something we ever learn. A thought I had this morning, what if X-Men and F4 figures were made as the BAF. If fans of those characters wanted them they would "have" to buy 5-7 figures of other property characters to complete them. That might be a win- for both D/M and Hasbro, and something of both a win and a loss for us. |

That could be an good idea, but then we could end up waiting four waves just for the entire F4. Unless you're talking about supporting characters like Wizard or other guys who could be made on a larger scale. I'm blanking on who that could be right now. Does that make sense?
I wouldn't say no to a Sauron figure either. |
