bro i tell you, worst bunch of toy collectors and owners i have ever met..... you try asking questions about what someone just posted a pic up of, a new upcoming figure, or where to find such and such collectible and they pretend they don't see your comments. When you question them about why is everyone blowing you off, they say your the one with the attitude and so fourth.

i stopped going on there about at least a year i would say, that is until i found toyark. you got some good people here on the Ark !!!

In my case, I would try to break up the constant wishlist & shopping update posts the regulars on that site are so fond of with mods or customs related to the figures/wave being discussed in the thread, and help folks with tips. I started getting called out as a showoff and thread derailer by a bunch of the old guard guys there, and that was that. I stopped posting there aside from using the trading post for bst stuff.

Sounds like some of the guys at the Toho Kingdom forums. Just posting your MonsterArts want list makes them say you are not entitled to those figures and have no right to demand them.

Oh they also did that too.... you bring up what you'd like to see in the marvel select line, the people start talking down to you. "Your not happy with they're current offerings??" Or "You should be kissing so and so's ass for giving us info about the newrst release" i literally went off on quite a few of them and messaged even the adminstrator and told him how sh*tty of a forum it was there
..

Hate is a tool, to be honed and focused at the proper target.... HASBRO! this is the only forum I've ever been on and I love it! even people I disagree or debate with are great folks, plus it's good to get different points of view. I love people "showing off" Zoffy, hiding your skills is a sin brother! post away here man I love your work. and if any of you find a figure I can't, rub it in! isn't that one of the points of collecting? I want to have to chase something! otherwise it's not collecting, it's grocery shopping, and grocery shopping sucks. were all adults (or close enough) here and there are a lot of damn good, cool folks here. Personally I like the "appreciation" threads because of there open vague nature and the general off topic conversation.

As i said in my last post, this is just a great forum here. good people, good topics of interest, and we are always constantly finding out the latest info on the newest releases, viewing peoples cool costum figures, and or some people point out where it is they purchased whatever figure it is.

for toyark and the legends thread !!!

You guys rock... =) Ark was the first toy community I got involved with, and after seeing what else is out there, it's definitely the most welcoming group. Even when disagreements occur, there isn't the same "dogpile" mentality that other forums have going on. I will probably put my tutorials back up on Ark temporarily since I really don't know how long it's going to take to move into my new house and get everything situated to where I can work on a how-to site. I've got a ton of mods and customs I'm anxious to work on once I rescue my collection from the storage facility they're in. =)

I could not have said it better myself. This particular thread was a big part of why I joined and stayed with Ark. The community here is awesome.

I bought a second Star Lord figure on clearance just to have one unmasked in the short jacket. It is not hard to trim the bottom off at all and I think he fits better with the group.

For the $20-23 price point Legends are costing us nowadays, yeah, they should look like that coming out of the box. I need to buy better brushes and practice more to get my heads looking like that!

That is a very nice upgrade but I would never imagine Hasbro will attempt to deliver something like it. Hasbro upped prices on all of their lines over the past couple of years but made no attempts to improve looks, hell some stuff looks crappier than it did 2 or 3 years ago. At the end of the day Hasbro is still making toys with play in mind, they aren't NECA or McFarlane who deliberately make stuff to look good. Honestly I'd say the Scarlet Witch does happen to be one of their better looking legends especially with no likeness to screw up.

Agreed... I think we'll forever be caught up in Hasbro's dilemma of trying to be collector oriented but still keeping kids in mind, and I don't have a problem with how the figures look nowadays. I do wish they'd take the time to recalibrate the tampo machine painting on the figures' eyes every few runs though... =)

Agreed, starting to not like the MI line for the 3.75 tempted to get rid of the female ones in favor of the legends since I have both.

I really wish Hasbro would take the BAF idea to the Star Wars Black 6 inch line. I feel like a lightsaber or blaster just does not cut it for the 20$ tag when a ML at the same price has a much larger part with it or much larger figures in general (Hulk , Bulldozer, ect). And you can not tell me that R2 could not have come with his serving tray??? Or Yoda with a backpack for Luke???? They did BAF stuff with the 3.75 inch line , but not the 6 inch?? As much as I live the SW Black line , I fell like they get the short end compared to Marvel Legends
