Thanks for posting the review... I have all of the original Walmart Avengers figures, and the Cap and Hawkeye figures suffered from gummy rubber knees. Kinda hoped the AoU set repaint would be better, but looks like he still has issues. Might need to experiment with a leg transplant on ol' Hawkeye...

Was watch GOTG again last night and noticed something interesting. The guards gun tossed to Rocket by Drax in the prison break looks VERY similar to one we just got in Legends scale with Chameleon. Take a look.

I need some help.
I recently purchased White Tiger, and just like on my Jubilee the left arm refuses to bend at the elbow. on Jubilee it was not a problem to find poses I liked, but I need that joint for Tiger. Any help would be appreciated. |

Have you tried the old hair dryer or boil n hot water tricks to soften the joint up where you can work it.

I normally use the hair dryer trick. I hold it on the joint for no longer than 45 seconds. I tried the boiling water method once, 15 seconds did the job for that. Too long could warp the plastic.

Just picked up Marvel Now Iron-Man yesterday and with that I finally have my Hulkbuster complete. What an impressive BAF. Probably my favorite to come from Hasbro. I don't have a comic HB, but I don't mind using him next to my comic characters.
I didn't have any problem tracking down the HB wave at Walgreens. Between the two Walgreens within 5 minutes away, they had the entire wave. However, I still haven't seen a single figure from the Rhino wave. I ordered Ghost Rider, Chameleon, Kraven and Superior Venom from the Toys R Us ebay page, but I still need to get my hands on a Misty Knight and Scarlet Spider (who shouldn't be too hard to find in the wild once this wave hits us). Going on a grocery trip to Wal-Mart tomorrow so hopefully they got some new stock in, but I doubt it. |

Try submerging him in baking soda for 24 hours.

Hey guys, new here. Hope you don't mind me poppin up in the convo but with my interests this seems like the best place to start. Been a marvel legends/spider-man classics collector for almost 10 years now. Not good with forums but we'll see how this one works out for me, thanks!

Ach, I've had the same problem time and again. If you put the figure in a box of cat litter for a few hours the smell is absorbed. You will then have a figure that smells like cat litter for a day or two, but at least the smoke won't be present! |

ah, I see, in a bowl? or a box? I'll have to get baking soda when I go to the store Monday or Sunday afternoon, as I think we don't have any right now……(bear with me, I'm moving in 2 weeks so things are a bit crazy around here)

I will post picts later, just wanted to share with all of y'all, (because I know yall are the only ones that care about this) that I recently inherited a BUNCH of Toybiz Marvel Legends figures!!
Super excited when I found out we were going to be receiving about 3 plastic bins full of toys. They weren't sure what kind of toys they were, the lady (long story) just said they were her son's, who had passed away like some 8 yrs ago or so, and she was finally ready to let them go and go to a good home....Well, they sure are in a good home! After my boys and I sorted them out, I ended up with a bin full of ToyBiz Marvel Legends, Iron Man series one, (all opened by the way), X-men figures, spidey villians, bases and all! He was an X-Men fan because the other box we sorted out had nothing but the 5-points of articulation X-Men, Toybiz figures from the early 90's...a lot of Bishop action figures. Needless to say, I know have X-Men Marvel Legends figures to go with the Wolverine's I got from the Wolverine line and the Jubilee wave.... Just wanted to rant on about how fortunate I was with this score! |
