If this is the case, it won't happen but I'd prefer a proper wide Byrne Sasquatch to be the BAF over anything else.

Spoilers: What if it turns out to be another Blob BAF?

Damn. Not only would I be so very down for this, but it would act as the prelude for the rest of Alpha Flight. The original Walter was ok, but lacked the girth that is necessary with any figure representation of Sasquatch. Squatch dwarfs larger heroes like the Hulk and Thing in both height and width. I still want a Nimrod, but getting Langkowski would mean more Flight figs were on the horizon.

I've temporarily fixed it right now by drilling a nail into it to connect the two pieces, but it won't be something that lasts forever.

I'm guessing the head of the peg that goes into the leg broke off and is still inside the leg? I'll take that broken, useless lower torso and leg off you for shipping if you're just gonna throw it out and get a replacement.

I seem to remember Hasbro mentioning a new Sasquatch figure some time ago at SDCC. It might have been 2 years ago.
The only reason why I remember it so well is that I never had Sasquatch (I had the white version, not Walter). I didn't want to spend money on one because I had it in my head that we were getting a new one. I was at a comic/toy show and I found one for $5 so I picked it up thinking "well, this will hold me over until that new one comes out". Does anyone else remember hearing about a new Sasquatch? |

Can't understand why they got rid of him.... i think from what i recall after i quit the comic hobby, there was another person who became vengeance and then after marvel just threw him back on their shelf of ideas and you never saw anything about him again. I believe in the Secret Wars Ghost racers mini series, there was a character in there that resembled Vengeance but he never spoke nor did they mention his name.

@Byrnes, fantastic pictures! And that is an outstanding Sunspot custom. I love the early X-Force designs....thought about trying to find another Hope and trying to repaint her into Syrin to go along with that.

I've temporarily fixed it, but I'm also waiting to hear back from the ebay seller. Oh, and I'm not going to get rid of it until I get a replacement, but if I ever do, I'll let you know.

So I got a Terrax off ebay and maybe it wasn't a good idea buying a used figure after all. Sure, it was the price of 2 figures, but my god his joints are loose as all hell. His biceps, shoulders, and left thigh where the leg sticks into are horribly loose so much so that he can barely stand or hold his axe. UGH!!!
Yes they were great the 90's comics...artists were a lot better too. |

@Byrnes, That collection is INSANE! Love the custom figures you have, especially the X-Force Sunspot, Warpath and 80's Dazzler. Also love that you've organised your display based on era/team, very much after my own heart!

Oh yeah, that Dazzler looks great. Byrnes is that "just" (without any impinging on your customizing skills, but for standardization of a recipe) a repainted Captain Marvel w/o the helmet? That's kind of been my plan for my second one I bought of her and I can only hope it turns out even half, nay a quarter as good as that.

No worries man. That's exactly it. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to customizing. I try to keep it simple and quick. Here is a close up. Just a quick paint job, some sculpey for the bandana on her head and the jacket is from the 5" Toy Biz Cyclops/Phoenix 2 pack. Super easy and decent look for her.
