One of the only people who actually did anything to hurt the Hulk was Ghost Rider but he didn't stay to finish him off because he deemed the Illuminati unworthy of saving due to their sins. One thing that bothered me about the Hulk taking on the Illuminati was that he could beat Black Bolt, that guy that beat Hulk before in the past and was able to fight Thanos on his own for a little bit. Black Bolt's power is so shifting from comic to comic, everyone says that one scream of his could destroy Earth or split a larger planet in half but then that same scream can't stop the Hulk?!

Yes Rachel was with the Starjammers dealing with the War of Kings in space at that time, or maybe this was before War of Kings but she was out in space either way.

Ghost Rider's "confrontation" with WW Hulk was sweet.

Getting off subject but to throw in my opinion, I thought the X-Men tie ins to WWH were the best of the bunch, even better than the main event series, though just barely. WWH though was not one of my favorite events...though better than some.

That Black Bolt was actually a Skrull. Also, the Ghost Rider / Hulk fight was badass. We need a new Legends GR bike.

Oh shit Secret Invasion!

I just grabbed a Maisto 1:12 Sons of Anarchy Harley for the new GR. It's just a tad smaller than what I would prefer for GR but it definitely fits the bill.

Here's something some folks might not've seen, the base prototype for the very first Marvel Legends Iron Man:

Wow, a proto I've never seen, and I have been collecting these pics since TNI was still called ADC.

Do you have larger, better versions of those than what the forum shows? I would love to add them to my proto folder.

Also, these pics really make me long to see what Hasbro could do now if they decided to redo a lot of the older armors we got, but with a better size and sculpts/art.

I would love it if Hasbro re did some of the older armors. Like the Silver Centurion armor. Maybe even the Thorbuster armor (i'm still not too big on it, but it could improve, maybe?). And maybe a first appearance armor.

they need to make a U.S. agent with the new cap buck atleast he is another character unlike all the ironman suits. which is kinda funny i still dont own any comic ironmen or movie ones (tho i will get the civil war one) just not a fan of the ball joint legs they keep giving him.

Oh yeah! SC Armor is a must, but yes, Thorbuster could use the new, better articulation and swappable heads, unmasked and masked. That new Tony head from the Euro set is key.

And a FA armor would be cool, although the TB one still holds up well.

My faves would be SC, Heroes Reborn and Return, classic armor (like the pack with Sharon/Maria), Stealth classic armor, Modular, and a new, larger Extremis, which is my favorite comic armor to date. I wouldn't even mind a better crack at the HoM armor.

You mean "body," not "buck." A "buck" is a block of wood with holes in it.

I think a US Agent on the Reaper body would be awesome.

If you don't like the ball joints, you should get the Bleeding Edge armor from the Monger BAF wave.

I'd love a US Agent redo on the new Cap buck, but I worry that he's too obscure for them to give it another shot only four years later.

And more comic armors, please! Redos of all those ones you mentioned, modular especially. Love that look.

A "buck" is a block that has holes in it, that they build an action figure around.

This article explains what a buck is, about halfway down:

btw anyone else bummed we mostly wont get a variant of jean in the x-men wave? i mean i prefer the red outfit over the green and for ironfist in the dr strange i prefer using that buck the white and gold costume over the green and yellow (the current white one has kinda like the current hawkeyes chin/face going on, and those annoying balljoint legs)

Although I was quite pleased with the previous one on the Bucky Cap buck, the new Cap buck more than justifies a redo. Moreover, it would cost Hasbro very little (buckwise) to do a repaint of the Cap Wolf buck. ( yanking your chain squeezeplay )
It would also give them a good excuse to match the red paint of Cap Wolf on the new US Agent gloves and give us a pair of actual fists!

Might be helpful if we request some basic rules of conduct from Hasbro:

- needs to be able to look all the way up
- no shoulder pads or other armour getting in the way of articulation
- a minimum of both fists and repulsor/splayed hands
- somewhat taller than Cap Wolf
- blast effects
- either a removable visor or helmet-less extra head
- no weird reuse of unqualified armour to cut corners

*Raises hand* Desperately need a Dark Phoenix variant. Releasing the lone Jean is criminal. I kinda wish Walgreen's would step in and release an exclusive Dark Phoenix with alternate angry head and wild, crazy hair!!!

I don't, sadly. These are the best pictures we took at the time :P still a fun look at a piece of toy history though!
