New Marvel Legends/6" Appreciation Thread

THe fact this is part of a creation of work is immutable and does not necessarily reflect the actual opinions of those who use it. Sometimes a reference is just a reference.

This is what I wanted to say. There's a difference between a character or group of people referring to themselves by certain words as a means of self-empowerment as opposed to just straight up spewing a racist/sexist/homophobic slur to another person.

And as a black person myself, I found the previous use of the n-word far more problematic than what anything NiteLife had said in that post, which was essentially just him referring to a comic book character by her given name. If he was going around calling women bitches, then sure, he'd have a point. But now, it just seems like we as a society are screaming oppression at everything because we want it to bother us.

I really don't know how I'm going to survive 2 X-Men waves and the upcoming Spider-Man wave, as well as whatever else Hasbro has in store for Legends lol

I have been looking everyday since the 22nd and this was the first decent priced one I came across, (165.99 w/free shipping ) I have never ordered from them before but I figured I would take a chance... Interestingly it looks like the spidey wave will ship July 1 and the xmen ships at the end of July...

One thing I personally love about the Old Man Logan books even though it was only in the set up was Mysterio's involvement. Mysterio has always been one of my favorite Spider-Man villains but there aren't a whole lot of notches under his belt. Even though it was an alternate reality he straight up played Logan like a fiddle.
