Me too those were great issues son of satan would be great. They might get to nighthawk since they already made a 3.75 figure of him a couple years ago.

I know it's being said a ton to the point where I was even starting to roll my eyes but this really is the best wave Hasbro has ever done, and may even be the best marvel legend wave (up against TB wave 6). All of these figures would likely be the best of their respective waves if released outside this wave. Even the characters who aren't necessarily "show stealers" feel like a tremendous amount of care was given to them. Nobody feels tacked on, or corners cut. It doesn't feel like a cash in or afterthought either like the TRU wave did. The lineup to the execution feel very lovingly done.

Kitty Pryde-Perfect example of my "tremendous amount of care" point. Very ho-hum costume, but so well executed it never feels like it. Lockheed does take a little bit of maneuvering to get right on her.

Phoenix-Another very basic figure, but never feels short changed. Fantastic sculpt. Snuck her into my cosmic display instead of x-men cause I already have a Jean and will take whatever excuse I can to add to my cosmic display.

Havok-Makes the bucky mold pop even after it's umpteenth use. Also thrown into my cosmic display because war of kings and aforementioned any excuse.

Iceman-Had very little interest in this figure when it was announced but I'm really impressed with it, maybe the Dark Horse of the wave for me. Looks great however it is posed.

Rogue-Fantastic. For me this is what I see as rogue when I close my eyes. As far as this version of rogue is concerned, we'll likely never need another one.

I've kept wolvie, deadpool and cable on ice right now, because I'm still happy with the toybiz ones and haven't decided if I'll keep em or trade em or sell em. But even in packaging, they are impressive.

Also, though not assembled, the Juggernaut BAF pieces are BIG.
That's great hearing that Rogue is excellent and Havok is Pretty good because those were my biggest wants from this wave also wanted Ice man. Now I'm going to have to get the whole wave to complete Juggernaut. I guarantee that Deadpool is going to be so hard to find even more than Black Panther.

I was still typing my post out when this got posted but yeah you're right.

Speaking of the GotG symbol, I don't like that it was never openly explained. The emblem is Star-Lord's fire brand (identical to what the movie used as the Ravager symbol) with the Nova star stacked on top of it. In the comics this design first appeared at the end of the Thanos Imperative as part of the shared memorial the united space people created to honor Nova and Star-Lord's sacrifice to save the universe. I guess the reader can infer that Star-Lord made it the team symbol when he returned from the cancerverse to honor the memory of his friend but since this is never openly stated it is technically left unanswered.

The symbiote started freaking out after being in space for awhile and led the team to the "symbiote home world" where it was revealed that all symbiotes were actually intended to be peace keepers and agents of good. The "true symbiotes" restored/neutered Venom and so he became space knight Venom (ROM!). It kinda goes without saying that every longtime Venom fan was pretty pissed with this whole deal since it turned our gnarly toothed monster into something like modern DC's Blue Beetle. No surprise this entire mess was written by Bendis.
Thanks for response. Yeah that's kinda a kick to the nads to Venom and his fans. The figure doesn't look bad though. But I'm probably gonna pass on him and only pick up Electro and Hobgoblin.

I saw a few pages ago that there's a rumor that big bad is canceling pre-orders on the X-Men wave. They shipped mine so I have to say that the rumor is false. Unless they can't fill all the orders.

Your post was obviously a lot more, ahem, passionate about the topic Since I know a lot of people have very strong (read: negative) feelings about it, I just tried to be concise and objective.

But hey, I honestly love the new Venom. And now I'm leaving before I get stoned for being a heretic

I truly hope we see Enchantress released, too. Releasing her as only as an SDCC exclusive would be pretty low.

My BBTS order remains unfulfilled...I guess we'll see.
Whoa that's nuts then if it's true. It's almost like the Wolverine BAF Puck wave, didn't that one get shafted a bit too?

Marvel has such a vast library that it's practically impossible to be well-versed in every corner of it. There's probably a ton of stuff I dont' know about F4, Spider-Man or Daredevil just from the lack of reading I've done in those corners of the MU.
Yeah don't like the new X-Men Jean either..prefer the old school Jean...too bad she's still dead.

Thou we have been getting pretty random figures lately.
Obviously, Spider-man sells, so we get more females (Ashley Barton, really? I like the figure, but I'm shocked) , and villains seem to popping up, which is awesome.
Avengers is a hot property right now, so we are getting more obscure characters (thou missing a few 70's/80's classics.
X-men are all pretty much done, whether good or bad ((except of course a couple females, errm, Polaris, Dazzler anyone?)
The ones that we old collectors are missing are the b-teams; like New Mutants, Alpha Flight, New Warriors, Defenders, and Thunderbolts, to name a few (yeah I like Runaways too, but they don't scream classic characters-Nico being the exception).; but I gotta say, I am more and more impressed with the sneaky random choices, Hasbro is putting out there.
Someone up there, knows their Marvel stuff. Machine Man, Misty Knight, Blizzard? Satana?!. Heaven. I think I cry a little when Medusa was announced.
Now I think the whole Marvel Universe is seen as a whole market (specially under Disney, never shy to milk the cow). So whomever catches the imagination of the people-above can make it into toy form. Which is exciting.
I for one, will relish the day when my favourite ginoid Jocasta is made, and I will buy them all and form an army, and you will all hate me. Or not....
I used to think that, but not any more I still see peg warmers of certain ones, if anything depends on the popularity of them.

There's plenty others out there I would likely pass on that others want. And while I do realize that many of these will never get made, there are good number of the above I can see could be made (Madrox, Exodus, Moonstar, Sebastian Shaw, Sunspot, Sauron, Shatterstar, Nimrod and Blink being the most likely candidates).

That's not even including redos from both TB and Hasbro eras, that's just straight up never done before figures. So yeah, X-men are nowhere near done, there is a vast vein of figures to mine there.
There's so many characters that they can make X-Men related, I think they may have only touched on 30% of the X-Men characters that they've made so far, and I'm not talking about repaints of costumes either.

Nice setup! Just a accessories question where might one find a tiny pallet of cash like this and is it easily redone in 3 3/4 scale. I ask because I have the pallet but no cash for it

That's awesome.

Love the Heisenberg picture with the money.

As for Space Knight Venom, I think that is about as great sounding as Cap being a Hydra agent.

Anyway, I finished The Dark Phoenix Saga and damn that was mightily enjoyable. I already started the Days of Future Past book and read the issue that was pretty much summarizing all of their adventures up to that point. THat was great.

I follow the shop on Twitter , as they post what they are getting the day before.
Forbidden Planet take much longer to get their new waves.
Online I use A Place In Space, they are quite good.

I have the chest, right leg, and unfortunately, a right arm with a left hand (rubbish I know).
I'm not interested in making the Space Venom, so if you want the pieces, I'll send them to you (within the UK of course), free of charge.
I have many pieces of BAF I need to get rid of, as they take space, and I don't care for them. The only BAF I'm not finished that I want is Ronan.
I'll try to find them all and post a list for any arkers that want them.

Thank you so much for the offer mate, but that's okay! I don't mind waiting longer for most of these figures. Although, if you happen upon the Abomination wave Wonder Man or Captain Britain, give me a bell!

Can I ask which BAF pieces you have? Sorry to say that I don't have any Ronan ones, but I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you out.

I remember A.C.B.A posting this on their Facebook a while ago. A really impressive photo, and extremely scary that something like this needs to be made.

I know everyone rags on him, but Bendis did a stellar job of condemning police brutality in his Uncanny run. Unlike reality, though, the victims were Asian and Hispanic American, and it was Magik who saved their lives.
