When does BBTS usually put up the SDCC stuff? Is it after or before the Con? Non of the good stuff is up yet.

You can find a lot about the Walgreen's exclusives through Steven Anne's (Toy buyer for Walgreen's) twitter account.
https://twitter.com/stevenganne According to Steven Anne's twitter account as of June 3rd: "Namor this summer. Punisher early fall!" As of June 18th, when asked about Walgreen's getting the Civil War wave: "We don't have them now sadly. Namor next, then X-Men, then Punisher, then Dr. Strange wave." |

Yes...so, what I do is I put everything on pre-order @ BBTS just in case I don't find it @ retail. If i do, I just cancel.

Before I forget...I went back to Walgreens (@ the corner of happy & healthy, lol) today (yesterday too but, no luck with the exclusives) and one of the employees told me that the Punisher wasn't supposed to be sold yet. I remember now (cause at the time I was in cloud 9) that the lady that was charging me had a hard time scanning the item, but, she din't think anything of it, so, she scanned the pizza spiderman twice instead. If it wasn't for the other figures I bought, I might've never gotten the Punisher fig that day.
Edit: And pizza spiderman was on sale...Oh well.

Exactly...apparently they didn't learn their lesson from the infamous Daredevil Exclusive. That item was also one per customer at least here in my city. What happened? People go tired and stopped looking for it there. Now, just last moth there were at least 5 still peg warming there.

Lol...no man, I didn't mean it like that. Anyways, today's my last day of vacation, so, I won't be posting as much as i'd like to, but, hopefully in the afternoons I'll get a chance. I just went on an eBay X-Men rampage bro! everybody here was talking X-Men all week and I couldn't resist, my OCD got me. Once I get all the figs in I'll be posting the group pic!! Can't wait!

This has happened with both Transformers and the DC Super Hero Girls lines, just off the top of my head. Wouldn't be surprised that other stores do it, at least with their own exclusives. As for why Walgreens would care about street dates, well... again, it's a matter of the toy being their exclusive, and they would want to have some say on when they have to reorganize their shelves/system. And once there's a street date on file, the employees (in most cases) would be concerned about getting reprimanded for breaking said street date. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, I know, but that's the reality of the situation.

If the struggle of figure storing warrants a cry of frustration, finding a place to stow dioramas-a-plenty would be a walking nightmare. You can magnetise the pieces and thus flat pack them, but still the question remains. This is why I'm entering the field of rubble/debris/smoke making, as these are all universal to any battle between figures! They can also hide light wiring, flight stands, and prop up those tricky characters that love to stumble into everyone and knock your entire display down (I'm looking at you, Kate Bishop, and your gummy legs!)
I may be going overboard, though. Every shelf in my cabinet has some form of dust cloud and brick debris scattered amongst the heroes. It's quite addictive. ![]() Quote:

The funny part is after their initial hick-ups with Agent Venom, Walgreens has been the easiest store to get Legends exclusives from. Probably because unlike most others, they have a toy buyer who is actively involved with the communities and likes to make sure they are getting what people want and keeping collectors updated. |

Do we think we'll see anything new on Wednesday for preview night or will we have to wait until the panel on Saturday?

Since DTL and BM were mentioning it earlier...here's a comparison between the Hasbro Symbiote Spiderman and the Kaine Scarlett Spider.
![]() Since you were inquiring DTL, it is indeed the same body mold, right down to the angular musculature on the calves. The only difference between the two are the proportions and minor articulation points. The Symbiote Spidey is WAY smaller than the Kaine version of the same mold, and has a much smaller set of hands, feet and head in proportion to the body. He also has calf rotation, whereas the Kaine figure does not, and those older styled Hasbro ankles, which means no ankle pivot. He's my favorite Symbiote Spidey thus far, as that body is not terrible, and he has some awesome blue and black shading, but there's a lot of room for improvement. While I don't think it's necessary just yet with so many other characters that need re-dos, it doesn't surprise me that despite losing the fan poll to Angela last year, Symbiote Spidey is already being rumored to be on the way with the next wave of Spidey Legends after Space Knight Venom. ![]() |

@TBM
NAMOR'S PIMP HAND IS STRONG!! nice setup...i like that Black Manta. I likes the usage of the effects. @ Trivial...thanks for the comparison and info...as much as I want a black suit spidey..i guess it does make sense to wait.
