Hundred per cent agree. Can't believe they didn't re-paint Captain Marvel and make Ouback Dazz. They have gone to town. Awesome.
Also I get Nico, as part of A-force (fun comic), but we do need a classic Medusa with a million miles hair (hey, it's her power). The one we got was pretty (plus exclusive) but did not represent her power set. To be frank, I'm astonished Medusa has been pushed to the foreground of heroes, considering she is the fifth or thereabouts heroin of the Marvel era. About time, I think. The Inhumans always had the potential, but never truly explored. Thou, not happy that they are "the new mutants" thing. I guess the movie, pushed them forward. Not a bad move by Disney, using the whole stable...

I tell you guys, when you're at the very top of the food chain...everybody wants to eat you!! I'm used to all kinds of attacks...I've seen it all. You can't bring the King down...you guys know this! The day you do something for a fellow Arker that's the day you gain my respect...People don't know me...if they only knew me like some of you do.

Hahahah. I'm watching always watching.
Seriously thou, I think this is the best forum with the nicer people. I find it too much fun to read. But I'm not often bright enough to write. Always too knackered. I find it lovely to read thou, when I get From work.
And yes. I do like The Blue Marvel. Really enjoy reading the very clever Ultimates. I will chase the original series soon. To get updated.

I think everything's been said in jest, raf and ariella, or at least it seems ariella's facetiousness hasn't come across very well on the internet. Us Brits can't do humour unless it's scathing, I'm afraid.

If you want to read the prelude to Ultimates, I recommend Al Ewing's Mighty Avengers and Captain America and the Might Avengers. Rather than the original Ultimates series, which are set in a parralel universe, MA and CA+MA feature some of the characters and plotlines which currently run through this new story.

It really is a phenomenal read. I've actually given up on waiting for a Spectrum figure and have commissioned a custom of her. Same goes for Dr Adam Brashear, if he is not announced soon..

@Veronica Ooooh wow, can I ask where you found photos of the SDCC diorama? I've been waiting for something about it to surface online! As for Betsy, I'm afraid it's the same head, but it's nice that they're not just using figures which came out this year.

Everyone has got a version of "their classic" depending on when they started reading comic-books.
I think classic it's the late 70's80's stuff, but I read all the new stuff too. You have to move with the times. The new Nova, Ms Marvel and Spidey are great. Thou I love the originals too. I guess I have many old issues, to re-live those moments. But I do also find the new generations fresh and new. I quite love the new Thor and Spider-man, but I prefer a combination of old and new. I can't believe how good some of the new books are...
I guess Marvel tries to please everybody.

Unfortunately for Medusa, hair-power isn't very toyetic.

Pretty sure it's the same head. I think it may just be the angle. BTW, where's the dio shot from? Looking for more desperately!!

Interesting VonPooten.
I guess we all get humour in a different way. If I came across scathing I do apologise. Not my intention. Just cheeky/errm naughty banter, based on other comments from Raphael and other people. I just though, I was paying a compliment. But I'm older, so I might have misread the mood. I love cheekiness, and quite appreciate it. I thought I was responding in kind.
Moving on...I though I was answering to The BlueMarvel. But nonetheless, I m aware of the old Ultimates. But The BlueMarvel had some Limited series didn't he? That's what I need to get, to get the full monty on him. I quite like his story. What with the family etc. But I feel I gotta know more now.
Also I would not give up in Monica yet. But it might take two more years, who knows? I have seen some pretty good customs. But I like official stuff. Even if I do my own custom stuff too. I am a fan of Mike De La Paz customs. I have a Ms Marvel one, thou I keep her as an art piece rather than part of my collection display.

I really dont care for the look to a lotta these new teeny bopper heroes. Their costumes are boring or just dont pop, at leadt to me. Like with spidey 2099, why mess with perfection. His new outfit looks like a gnome threw up on it. I get it they wanna try a new thing but that looks just atrocious. I mean look at spider man....yah hes had a few throughout the decades but its that iconic red n blue he always calls back to. Hopefully he goes back to that old blue n red. ( though who am i kiddin im still gonna buy it but still )

Why is Medusa's hair not toyetic?
In my opinion, she's one one of the most toyetic figures. Massive tentacled hair? I'm all for it!

Don't worry mate, I'm sure raf knew you were being tongue-in-cheek.
Yes Mike De La Paz makes some stunning customs! His work reminds me of Mike Deodato's art, very made up ladies, but not too far. I do hold out hope for a Monica figure some day, but with a custom you could get, say, a transluscent head as she transitions into light, or a wired coat. I am a mighty fan of customs!

Not sure if anyone's seen this, but MarvelToyNews managed to screen-cap the back of Angela. Apparently her sword is removable from the scabbard, which is great to hear (I didn't even notice it was there in the other photo).

Yes, he had a retconned limited series in the 616 universe and there have been some alternate universe (Exiles) stories involving him. He also played a large role in Original Sin, where his friendship with Uatu (hence my joke) was expanded upon. I haven't read Ultimates, but PM's with Von/DarkToyLord/and Donmeca are all glowing...I'm may have to 'un-renounce' (I makes a new word!) my dislike for the Ultimate universe...

I would love to have a Blue Marvel figure by the by!

Look, you are preaching to the converted. But ...I am quite enjoying Miles, Sam, and Khamala's science fair.. I enjoy clever teens.
Well, I still think classic Jean Grey should still be Phoenix, and never been killed, so what do I know. I mean...she was hot.

The Fwoosh has some pics here: SDCC 2016 Preview Night: Additional Hasbro Pictures | The Fwoosh

Looks like they're using The Blob wave She-Hulk, not sure if that's a good sign or not

I can't wait for that Angela
