Okay that answered my question...and is indeed exactly what you said to me prior...
i sure hope that mystique you're talking about will be visiting NY in the near future... ;o) I love that wasp body frame/type Quote:
@DarkToyLord: You were asking earlier about the MS Venom up against the Space Knight BAF, so here you go. As you can see, the heads are just about the same size, and should work in a swap provided you do some work with a dremel. The only downside to the MS Venom head I feel, is that it's actually a bit detailed sculpt wise, maybe too detailed, to properly go along with the relatively simple and smooth design of the Space Knight BAF...
so before i go buy me a MS Venom...does anyone have any of the MS Venom heads (i think he came with 3 right) that they don't need/want/use ???

Do you have speed demon because i might pick him up also and was wondering what his hands would look like on electro's. Because either way I'm definitely getting Electro I really don't care for the bald head.

![]() It's hard to tell in the picture, but the color on Speed Demon's hands are just a slightly different tint of blue/black than that on Electro, but can be placed on him in a pinch and won't look entirely off, although if you want a little bit of a closer match, you might need to do some touch up work or at least some black drybrushing to better match them. I prefer Iron Fist over Speed Demon's simply because I like a glove-less look on Electro, but in all honesty, it's whatever floats your boat there. Electro's hands also work with Iron Fist and Speed Demon as well. I like the bald head personally because I enjoy the seething personality that's coming out of it. Plus, I already have the ToyBiz Sinister 6 boxset Electro, so using the classic head on this newer figure seems a bit redundant to me, as I feel the ToyBiz version was already a near perfect representation of that look. While messing around with the Sam Wilson Captain America tonight, I spotted an unused BAF part in my fodder out of the corner of my eye. While the shape of them might not be perfect, and the straps are a somewhat tight fit (the peg is not long enough to fit in his back normally like they did on the BAF unless you use the straps,) the straps do fit on him perfectly without hindering the articulation too much. With a little bit of paint, I think I might have solved his "lack of wings" problem. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now...to do some research on those wing colors for the repaint. I mean...what would Hasbro do? |

The Iron Fist and Speed Demon hands do indeed work. They're easily swapped out, and fit snuggly on Electro with no mods needed. Might be a good time to snatch up some of those Iron Fists on clearance at your local Walmart! Hopefully Hasbro will do a sale for the Allfather wave the way they did for the Ant Man wave recently on Ebay. If they do, I swear, I'm snagging like three or four of him just for the hands alone.

Sweet man...good to hear. Those Iron Fist hands will also work on many of the new male characters in the X-Men wave as well, as they employ the same styled peg. The Iron Fist is a good figure too, and it's not like he can actually employ all those different hands at once. Might as well put them to good use! =P |

Those pictures in front of the brick wall are like awesome. I wish I had the skills to make a brick wall like that. UGH!!
Speed Demon's hands work great on Electro. Oh, some X-Men updates from me: Omnibus read: I just finished the issues where they are beaten by Magneto again and this series continues to impress me. Even the filler issue with Warhawk was an enjoyable one. One of the things I am loving about this series and have been surprised at is how continuous the plots are. It makes me think of manga. Of course, it's funny though because I complain about how tired I am of there being no stand alone stories anymore in comics, as everything is written for the graphic novel, but here, I am loving this series because it is a continuous story. Either it's because I have the whole story right in front of me to read at one time or it's just because the writing is that damn good. Of course, it still does have those issues that feel like a stand alone moment, so that could also be why I don't mind it so much. On the other hand, the whole "six month old babies" concept was kind of dumb, like really dumb. That just doesn't make any sense to me and seems kind of goofy for comics from the late 70s, but whatever. I was also surprised to learn that Magneto has already constructed Asteroid M. I thought that was a 90s thing. Anyway, I can't wait to continue and because I just sold off some stuff I have ordered the next two Omnibuses because I've decided I want to read this entire run in order as far as I can even though I just read the Dark Phoenix and Days of Future Past stuff a month ago. X-Men Evolution stuff: So we just finished episode five of season 2 and this show is not as good as I remember. Well, scratch that, season 2 so far is not as good as I remember while the first season is just as mediocre as my memory serves me. I hate Spyke. I really hate Spyke. He takes the worst aspects of Morph and cranks them up to 500. The animation is nice though while the music is unfortunately pretty forgettable. I'm also not a fan of Megatron being Xavier nor Black Arachnia being Jean. Oh, and sometimes McNeil is great as Wolverine while other times he just doesn't seem to fit. Other than those, I really have no complaints on the voice acting. Well, except maybe for Havok because god dammit all I see when he speaks is Kira Yamato. That is all I have right now for my thoughts on Evolution. It does have some funny moments, especially when dealing with Kitty and Nightcrawler, but for the most part, it's kind of bland.

Surprised it took them this long to price discount it, that sets been up there for 2 years? Where are you located again? I haven't seen anything in my area they've been snatched up quick. |

It's a great figure for sure. I almost forked out $50 for one because I had missed out on the previous release and wasn't sure if Diamond was gonna do another re-release. Praise God they did though. I found mine at my local comic store for $25.

THANKS...after sitting and thinking whyyyyyy am I paying $86.00 for Lockjaw.
My rationale is usually...If I don't get it now..it'll cost me more later.... So I called them up and sure enough they were able to cancel the order, which was REALLY because of you Zof...thanks for inadvertently talking me down.(and the rep did it just off of the phone call) I'm not sure if I ever mentioned it, but I have a serious problem with action figures.... |

Hehe, no problem man. I think I was more interested in keeping my streak of always being able to get the exclusive set than actually keeping it. One of the reasons I stopped keeping up with Legends is because I seriously have bins and drawers FILLED with figures that I have zero use for. That includes stuff I bought as fodder, stuff I replaced in my collection, brand new in box stuff, etc... I finally got to the point where I really question everything I buy, and I don't hesitate to cancel stuff if I'm on the fence; I've learned all to well that "well, I'll buy it and sell off what I don't want!" doesn't work unless you're willing to lose money just to get rid of stuff.
I actually just looked at my CC bill and was like WTF?!?!..what am i doing....BRUH...pump your brakes. I immediately went on ebay and deleted all the things i was watching/looking at. I HATE that side bar to the right that shows ebay sales...GRRRRRRRRRR....i look at it...click through it...next thing i know..."GOTCHA BITCH" I'm now the proud new owner of something i wasn't thinking about prior to.......*sigh*...the life of an addicted collector....ha My goal is to REALLY stay away from PRIOR RELEASES...except for maybe one here and there, every other month or so as a treat...and not feel like...I MUST HAVE THEM ALLLLL..NOWWWWWW!!!. Now new releases..well that's a different story, cause If i see me a Falcon, Winter Soldier, Kate Bishop 3 pack, etc, I'm on it like stank on doo-doo.... meh..
