So last night I was out in a different part of middle TN (Smyrna for the local folks) and saw at the Walmart Ashley Barton, and Electro. That was the first time I've seen the Space Venom wave at retail. Saw 4 Sentreys and 3 Hellcats at Target, much to my ire.

I worry now about the upcoming wave of X-Men, as I'm assuming they will have the same type of sku codes as the one we got this summer. This summer X-Men was "new" for retailers but if they're backlogged it may take longer for the second wave to show up. I hope not. On the other hand this should mean good news for the GOTG wave, at least the first wave.

If I were a part-swapping bottom feeder I would totally have the Onslaught with proper head right now but I want none of the figures required besides maybe Kitty. My local Walmart has every figure needed to build Onslaught but I just can't justify buying them, taking the parts, and returning them even though I'm sure I'd get away with it because I know I'd feel like a dick afterwards.

TV Night kept me up! Caught up on American Horror Story, WestWorld, Atlanta, and Shameless... it was a late night

...and as long as we are on a Domino roll- here's my take on Nina (...or Vanessa I guess since I went more for a 1st appearance look with some Liefield pouch on pouch look to match my modded cable- even gave her a rope which looks like it might have been her signature go-to weapon in the beginning....)

...and just as a note- My phone washes the whites out pretty bad. In person on my desk here the legs are a much brighter shade of white than her skin- so she doesn't actually look like she is wearing... uh.... crotch-less chaps...

I was never crazy about the Toybiz version but I did use her head for my original Domino custom- once I removed and shifted her hair around- mine was pretty lopsided- lol

At most very good quality customs should be at least up in the $100 range. I'd also be willing to buy a custom at $50.00. But it seems like no customs are under $100 lol
