I've seen some of your hauls in the past, and you've dropped hundreds of dollars on MonsterArts, Kamen Riders, Power Rangers in the past. Not a criticism of your spending habits, because it's your hard earned money and you spend it how you like, and it is an apple and oranges comparison as some of the other figures are imports, but for the sake of the argument, you've spent more on one toy. I know I have...

Target is clearancing some Legends. Avengers (Hulkbuster and Allfather waves) are $15, and Doctor Strange wave is $10. Also the Disco Armor/War Machine and Cap/Tony/Spidey packs are clearanced as well ($27 and $41, respectively). Happy Hunting!

EDIT: Went to a different Target, they had different prices - $6.17 for Avengers (and, randomly, Kraven from the Rhino wave) and $14 for Doctor Strange wave. Check at the store to see what's what in terms of prices and what figures are clearanced.

It would be nice if this was a precursor to Target finally realizing if they want to sell stock regularly it would be best to pay attention to new waves. For instance, the "newest" Captain America wave that most stores (Target or otherwise) have around here is the Giant Man wave. Most are still flooded with the dregs of the Red Onslaught wave. One store had a dozen Whirlwinds.

Also, if anyone still needs to the Vision/Cap/Hawkeye pack I was in a TRU today and it was on sale for $25.

There are also currently a lot of cheap Legends on Amazon. The Captain America and Captain Britain from the Abomination wave are "add-on" (can be tacked onto other purchases of a certain value...I think $25+) figures for $6.00 each right now.

Last time i went to a target, they still had figures of the rhino wave still fully in stock.... at that point i stopped wasting gas trying to look in targets for legends.

Awesome heads up on the GOTG wave. preordered the weave through Dorkside, as I was for sure wanting 5/7 anyways and at that point might as well just get the whole wave. Sad it wasn't the X-wave of course, but that will come soon too.

I hope everyone had a great holiday of your choice of celebration this year. Onwards to a another great year of toy collecting.

I'm quite certain NECA has proven that to be utter bullshit.

Regardless, why would anyone want their Doc Ock arms to break in 5 year's time? I want him to have real plastic, not some garbage bendy wire crap. Putting a bendy wire on a toy is a crime against nature.
NECA is able to do it because they're adult collectibles, has something to do with the "ages x and up" thing. Happened after all those toy recalls a couple years back.

Yes, but those are high quality figures from another country. I knew I should have put "American" in that sentence.

I can't justify $60 for a single American figure, especially one that is 10 years old and uses a bendy wire.

Oh great god, STUNNER!! My brain was kind enough to let forget about her!! Wasn't she Doc Ock's lover or something? This thought gives me the chills!!
And to think this wasn't even the worse era yet for Spidey's comics...

Jane Foster Thor is a given at this point so yeah we'll definitely see her. I also wouldn't rule out a Valkyrie for the movie.

I could see them doing Executioner on the Hyperion body.

Yes. She made a brief appearance in Superior Spider-Man as well to finally resolve that long long hanging plot thread about her relationship with Otto.

I'd still like some of those characters to add to a Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider set-up. I've always enjoyed those comics and Ben's time as Spider-Man, so much better than what came before it (being honest circa '91 through late '94 was the absolute worst era for Spidey of all time, even Chapter One relaunch and One More Day can't top Maximum Bonage and robo-parents.)

Once we get Jane Thor then all that's left of the newer replacement characters to do I think is X-23verine, Cho Hulk (which I'm gathering hasn't fostered a huge following) and this new Iron Man Woman. I don't know how any of those stories read but I did like X-23 prior to Secret Wars, so even though I haven't read the books I would like her figure made.

Any other legacy replacement characters yet to be made aside from those?

Aside from a bunch of other alternate universe versions of characters (still hoping we get Spider-Punk and SP//dr) Miss America is all I can think of.

EDIT: Oh and Monica Rambeau, but it looks like Hasbro is finally getting around to making her.

Went to Toys R Us hoping to find the 3DS. Big surprise: no luck. I did pick up the Avengers 3-Pack with Sam Wilson Cap, Kate Bishop and Vision for 25 bucks and I'm very happy with it.

The Vision is probably the best Marvel Legends Vision that has ever been put out, though that's not really saying much. The costume isn't one I'm necessarily familiar with, though it obviously comes from ANAD Avengers, right? I like it. My favorite part is the cape, it is MUCH better than the one from the Hulkbuster wave and I love that it has a collar, because classic Vision is still my favorite design for him.

Kate Bishop is probably the weak link in the set, not because I don't like the figure, but because I know almost nothing about the character. The costume design is pretty bland and I did see somebody post a picture of her one of her other outfits that I would have much preferred, but I still dig the personality that this figure gives off with that awesome headsculpt. It's also nice to get a bow that doesn't look like Hawkeye was trying to color match his weapon to his outfit.

Sam Wilson Cap is pretty dope too. The ab crunch on mine had some QC issues that resulted in some paint on his back being chipped off when I broke it free. Nothing too major though. This figure gives off a very nice aesthetic I feel. It's suitably bulky and has an awesome silhouette. Some Falcon wings would have really brought this figure over the top.

For slightly more than the price of a single Marvel Legend, getting 3 awesome figures isn't bad at all.

I would be shocked if Foster Thor and Unworthy Thor weren't in the line-up, though Foster Thor more so. Hasbro has gotten weird with releases of their MCU figures, so just left three placeholders in my predictions. Thor and Hulk seem to be given, though.

Checked another Target today - $14 for Doctor Strange figures, $11 for Avengers; all the rest were normal price.

From the ANADM era? Not really. I mean, there's plenty of active heroes that were given the spotlight that they haven't done, but as far as legacy heroes, they're nearing the end. Maybe a Kitty Pryde Star-Lord/Star-Lady (was never clear on which was her 'official' designation), but nothing else, really. Unless you count Gwenpool as some sort of legacy character (which she isn't, but eh, I'd still buy one).

I am jonesing so bad for Miss America (and any/all other Young Avengers characters they wanna give us), and I'm hoping that her getting a solo title, even if it has a short run, will boost our chances of Hasbro delivering (if they don't have her in the works already).

And SP//dr was actually my favorite story from the Spider-Verse mini! I would love to get a figure of the SP//dr suit, maybe as a BAF with a standard Peni Parker. The odds are low, but they've done weirder. Hell, an entire Spider-Verse-centric wave could be fun, in that regard.

EDIT:

Forgot about Hope Pym. And Raz Malhorta, the new Giant Man, though he'd largely (/rimshot) be the same as the Ultron-wave Giant Man, just with a new head. Maybe as a BAF release of the SDCC Giant-Man with a new head?

Just went to the local Target, Avengers were $6.17 and Doctor Strange figures $13.98, and the War Machine/Disco 2-pack was $19.98. They had a bunch of X-Men but it looks like they're staying regular price along with the Spider-Man Legends (which is too bad, this store has like 5 or 6 Misty Knights it needs to clear out).
