I know everyone is ogling over that Sue figure, but after watching that review, my excitement was tempered a bit. Something about her proportions are all over the place, and her head is downright huge. The head and hairpiece is nearly wider than her waist, not to mention it looks bigger than her upper torso as well. It's like she's an NBA Jam character in big head mode... It's not just the hair. Look at the width of the face as well, which nearly covers the gap between left and right shoulder. The width of her head from forehead to the back of her skull should not be that much wider than the width of her waist from the side. That's crazy big.
I know we're talking about superhero action figures, but we really shouldn't make excuses for the bad anatomy here, especially when it's that bad. A couple of the figures in the Sandman wave suffered from big head syndrome as well, but this one is pretty agregious. |

@ Trivial maybe the big head syndrome is more obvious because the guy in the vid is comparing them to Toybiz or early Hasbro female figs which are more smaller scaled to newer Hasbro marvel legends.
The problem is if we dont get the rest of Fantastic four in newer Hasbro ML then this Sue Storm would look comically compared to old FF ML. Im good though if that happens, I'll have Sue with my Namor figure, finally this two has a chance without that nerd Reed.

Along with the Mary Jane two pack, he revealed that we will be getting a Dark Phoenix two pack! Speculation the second one will be Cyclops! It won't be an exclusive so you should be able to find it at Target, etc. It is slated for August and there is an UPC number for it.

All this talk of stuff coming is awesome! Still, I want that X-Wave up for preorder somewhere!!!!
Dark Phoenix 2 pack other will undoubtedly be Cyclops as mentioned. I can't see how they could do anyone else. now I wonder if Spectrum will be in a two pack as well. How amazing would it be to get a Spectrum Blue Marvel two pack?? |

Follow up, went out for dinner and a toyrun last night. Didn't find anything new except a Storm Funko but hallelujah I did not see a single Sentry or Hellcat at any of the five stores I went to. Last time I went to the same stores two weeks ago I ran across at least 5-6 of each total. Maybe they finally sent them back Hasbro or discounted them heavily. Just glad to see them gone.
Something else to add. I had for the last few months been going on the thought that this years SDCC exclusive would be a "women of marvel" showing Sue Storm, Mary Jane, Spectrum and Dark Phoenix, but with all accounted for except Spectrum this is clearly not going to the case. I know it's still six months out, but I now turn my hopes to getting a Hellfire set. Sebastian Shaw, classic Emma Frost, Selene, Madalyne Pryor, Mastermind, Donald Pierce. I know they never all appeared together but would this not be awesome? Of course I'll take a New Mutants or Alpha Flight set any day as well. Also Thunderbolts but based on the SDCC poll offerings from last year that doesn't appear to be a plan for an exclusive. I still hope we get all of the classic Thunderbolts in some form eventually. I too have though the SDCC box might be Women of Marvel... But now I think maybe Ultimates... I don't think an Alpha Flight set will happen for now, but New Mutants... With the TV show coming up, maybe. Would love to see Karma, Sunspot, Mirage, Rahne, Cannonball and Magma, but again, it's more likely they will be slowly filtering out in next X-Men waves. We have a few Thunderbolts, thou criminally missing Fixer, Match X and Atlas (plus of course Jolt-long shot, and Citizen V -likely in a Cap wave). What about the Inhumans? They are finally being pushed at the forefront, as they should be, so maybe those. Myself I would love some lost Avengers; like Jocasta, Swordman, Stingray, Moondragon, Quasar, Mantis, Two-Gun Kid etc etc. |

I would love a Hellfire Club box-set too, but it might be too niche as a box set.

Myself I would love some lost Avengers; like Jocasta, Swordman, Stingray, Moondragon, Quasar, Mantis, Two-Gun Kid etc etc. Would definitely buy Crystal and Lockjaw too, and probably Karnak. yeah, that would be a set I guess I could go for after all, IF the right figures were in it. If it's a Black Bolt, Medusa, Triton/Gorgon and two other newer inhumans I'd likely pass. Lost Avengers would be cool but given the fact they're lost for a reason (lack of popularity) I don't see it being a big draw. Jocasta and Quasar would be an exception I think. And I know I personally want a Sersi badly, and Justice/Firestar to round out Busiek's first line up. Stingray, Swordsman, Swordsman II and Magdelene, as well as Living Lightening and Firebird I'd also purchase. The rest I could care less, never was a fan of Moondragon, Dr. Druid, Two Gun Kid, Mantis (and she looks like a Tellytubby in the face in the GOTG2 trailer, so the movie likely isn't going to help my opinion of her) and most especially my most disliked Avenger: Starfox. |

TWO RANDOMS...
1. SDCC legends exclusives Though I'm only a year into Legends...from what I've seen..I think the SDCC set from last year really wasn't that good. It barely feels special at all compared to some of the offering from years past which are now pricey as hell. 2. Posing 12" Legends figs. As I saw last night when I came home....when these mutha fuggaz fall...they FALL and take EVERYTHING in the area with them..I was like ...well damn!!! I had like 5 icons figs near two 12" legends...they were ALL gone from the spot i left them in....it was iron mans fault...as i picked him up i saw one of his ankles gave way.

That Black Panther looks sick, ah! Now waiting to see if Walmart or Walgreens exclusive...If Walgreens, will get a chance at him...If Walmart, I fear I will never get a crack at him...Shoot, my local Walmart are still sitting on Hobgoblin and Onslaught wave...So, looks like I will getting him online, hopefully!..The price you pay to a bad ass collection...Really excited about Sue, also, Finally some F4 love from Hasbro!
