Does anyone out there not care about their knife from the Nuke figure (GiantMan wave) and would be willing to part with it..???

Easily one of my top 5 fav franchises...and the sculpts are TIGHT. @ Boy Blunder...nice pics of the SF vs. Marvel. i had that Sagat and IronFist on the back burner for like 2 months.. (both figures still up on my desk) and just never got around to it. I realized while Sagat is poseable...he's not THAT poseable. yeah i ONLY bought that set because it was on sale.....but was VERRRRRRY happy afterwards....good figs...and the Guardians have been steadily growing on me.

I have the knife from Nuke, but the paint has rubbed some thanks to the ultra tight holster, which I also detached from the jacket if you wanted that as well. You need anything else. Seems weird to just mail you a tiny knife...

This doesn't surprise me. Those two are the two "core" characters in the wave that most people would be familiar with and would want. There's also the two I've seen the least of at retail, once with the one I picked up for Cyclops and twice total for Colossus (the one I got and once at Walgreens that's long since gone.)

I have literally seen Everyone from this X men wave 4 or 5 times each but have yet to see Cyclops or Colossus. My comic store has the wave in but wants $50 for Cyclops hahaha no thanks.

UK collector here. Anyone else baffled at prices over here? The only place I can find recent waves is Forbidden Planet, who have just increased the price per figure to £26.99 for the Sandman BAF wave!! GBP£189 for the wave… According the current exchange rates, that works out at about USD$235. I guess it could be worse... like TRU charging £80 for MP Bumblebee...
I guess ‘inflation’ and ‘brexit’ and ‘price of oil/plastic’ are all valid arguments – but it sometimes feels like I’m getting priced outta the hobby. Fortunately, managed to convince the missus to order X-Men Warlock wave from an e-tailer for my birthday. Not much cheaper but at least I got ‘em. Now I’ve just to go wait to July to open them! Here’s hoping no serious QC! Do we know of any common problems (beyond Warlock’s loose knees and Cyke’s floppy straps)? I hear you, man. I think we pay more because the retailers are individual shops (which outrageous rents in the West End) not chains, plus the shipping from the US or Hong Kong. Otherwise they probably wouldn't make much profit. Same for UK e-tailers. Places like Toys R Us or Hamleys are useless, but the Disney Store had the GOTG wave, plus the Marvel Selects. Forbidden Planet is always two series behind, as they have far too much old stock. I use Orbital, whom alert me of new stuff, but I gotta be ready to buy it straight away, as they would only keep it for a day or two, and I normally work when they arrive. So, when both The X-men and the Guardians wave came on the same day I had to fork out over £300, as I wanted all the figures. Being a European collector sucks, and lord knows if we will see increases after brexit. PS: American friends, is that Invisible Lady out yet, in Walgreens? Though she was supposed to come out on April the first. (Just in case I got one ordered from Asia, should be home soon) |

Haven't seen her, but I mainly only go to two walgreens. I think a month or so ago a few liberated themselves from the distribution truck to get to retail, but I only think that because I swear a few people got them. Should be soon though. She and Panther and the Dark Phoenix/Cyclops is the stuff next on the Horizon I believe.
I have no idea how some got Sue way before. I get Its easier in Asia, as so one must know someone else in The factory etc, plus they are manufactured in China, of course. In fact my LCS get all the Legends from Honk Kong, which is why I get them earlier. |

Great Pics BB...I've been feeling an overwhelming urge to pull my Sota Fighters out and mess around with them as well.
I see you managed to get the final battle Sagat as well. I had pre-ordered that thing with Wizard Magazine back when they were offering the exclusive, and then Capcom went and pitched a fit over the blood on the figures. I ended up getting a non-bloody version of the two pack from Wizard. Believe me, I was not happy, especially since I already had the series one figures to begin with. Quote:

Damn, I didn't know about the blood thing. I stumbled on a seller's booth at SDCC quite a few years ago who was unloading a bunch of SF figures for ridiculously cheap, and he had the Ryu/Sagat pack there. Never cared much for Ryu, so I was able to sell him off pretty easily. But Bloody Sagat will never leave my collection.
True. In fact, for as articulated as these guys are, it's hard to get them into a lot of good poses and still have them balance (at least, without stands) - Sagat is easier because of his massive feet, but even he has problems. Also, pretty much all of my figures have looseness in at least one set of joints - Ibuki being the worst, as her hip pegs will actually pop out of her pelvis due to a combination of looseness, peg shallowness, and the mold seam having slightly separated somehow. No sign of her down this way, either. I'm on the short list of people the toy department manager calls when new stuff comes in, and she hasn't called about Sue yet. |

I might be super late or stating the obvious. But I just realized that the Sandman Wave Shocker has a Running Change. One has a Thunderbolts on the belt and the other doesn't. I kinda feel stupid for just now noticing haha

I only knew about it by glancing at the "Discussions" box on MarvelousNews and seeing "Shocker running change" or something like that. It was maybe a month ago or so at this point, so you're a bit late to the party.

does anyone know why Walmart of all places gets exclusives? Going in there is deeply unpleasant.

But Woohoo... found Cyclops at the Walgreens like 5 mins walk from where I live. There are always dudes that check out the toy aisle on restock day, but this time the restocking lady was in the wrong aisle so they missed it. I just happened to go to the bandages area and the box was there with the entire wave just tossed inside... literally at the bottom of the pile was a pristine Cyclops... couldn't believe it. So strange... it felt like forever to get all my X-men MU, but I already have perfect 90's version of ML Wolverine, Cyclops, Rogue, Archangel, Iceman & Shatterstar. All I really need now is Psylocke and Gambit and Select Colossus... I can live without Jean Grey and Storm. |

That's pretty high mark-up for a current retail fig IMO. My LCS never goes past $40... Archangel, Jean Grey, Spider-Gwen & Deadpool were the only figs that reached that high when they first came out that I can think of at my LCS. Instead of marking it up higher than that they just force you to buy the entire wave as a set.

Yeah that's awesome luck man! Glad you actually found him. I gave up on the MU they took forever and made so many Duplicates like 40 different iron men And yeah I see what you mean i can't wait til they finally get to a Gambit he was always my Favorite X man. Back in the day. I wouldn't mind a Morph. Don't forget we still need a updated Professor X too.

Oddly enough, I've actually made most of my recent Marvel Legends sightings and hauls at Walmart. Lately, Target has just been carrying the dregs of the current Legends, while my ToysRus consistently has nothing of relevance.

At least they actually put the exclusives out for sale at some point, unlike another "ahem...TRU!..ahem" retailer. Unless it's the Star Wars 3.75 black series line. Then you're SLO.
