No...I'm being honest. I figured you were a long time collector of Legends given your love for the ToyBiz releases, plus it's almost became a skill for a while to get a modern Legends figure without bumping into a Bucky Cap mold. I've known most of the posters on this thread for a few years now, so I know for the most part how long they've been collecting. I know you've been around for a bit, but are still fairly fresh face to me, so please pardon my ignorance for not knowing if you're new or not to Hasbro's Legends.

I didn't collect during the dark ages, or Return era when that body debuted. I didn't really collect again until the Infinite Series, and didn't get serious until this last year when quality started improving.

And I don't collect many comic book figures (I collect mostly movie style) so until recently with Cyclops and Deadpool I didn't have any BuckyCap mold figures and wasn't even familiar with the term until recently.

Apologies again then...It was not my intent to be facetious towards you. I was under the impression that you collected the comic versions of figures as well. I failed to take into account that there are members of the group who only collect certain sectors of Legends such as MCU, comic, or character specific figures. If you have only collected MCU figures in the past, then you've more than likely been fortunate enough to miss the Bucky Cap mold altogether. Not that it has been a bad one...just one that has seen more than it's fair share of use.

For me it is Shatterstar... he just looks so cool... I mean... one shoulder pad... rocking the half scarf half cape look... padded boxing helmet with a pony tail and two padawan hair braids... not too mention the mandatory star eye. Like if I could design a figure from scratch it would probably look exactly like Shatterstar. LOL.

And then my second fav is Nuke from the Cap Civil War wave. I found him on clearance at Walmart for 7 bucks... couldn't resist at that price. He just looks so cool... like a 6" scale G.I. Joe.

I'm having a hard time narrowing it down to one. I really love the Sandman BAF, Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales Spider-man, GOTG V2. Star-Lord, Angela, and Colossus. Eventually I'll figure out which is my favorite.

So far I'm loving Ms. Marvel and Dazzler. I'd love Shocker too were it not for painted lines.

Angela is my current favorite Legend of 2017. She's just a well designed and complete figure. Though there are quite a few upcoming figures that may give her a run for my money.

Right now my favorite Legends for the year are Dazzler, Sunfire, and Darkhawk. I got the Spidey wave in Dec, so I'm not counting it as a 2017 wave, but if I did, Green Goblin and Sandman would be on that list.

Thanks. I've heard people mention it but I've never shopped from there before. I usually prefer to buy most things in person so I can pick out the figures with the best paint apps. I can fix a lot of paint problems myself if I take the time to do it and it would be less of a headache than looking at TRU. I think shopping costs get cancelled out if you take into account the gas money you save hunting.

Back on topic. I've only bought Dazzler, Sunfire and Cyclops so far this year and I sold the Cyclops because I decided I liked my old Custom Jim Lee Cyclops better. I love the Dazzler figure but the Sunfire is frustrating. If you line up the muscle groups on his thighs then he looks knock-kneed.

I loved the ladies this year, Dazzler, cause the daring of going disco, Invisible Woman, cause I hated all the old ones (yeah, including the FF classics), Polaris cause, it was about time, and Angela cause she's awesome, even if I don't love the character. But my number one has got to go to Warlock:

Unique character/design, and the whole thing that it may open the doors for the classic New Mutants.

Looking forward to...Mantis. Again, the more unusual the more I like it. Which is way my fave ever is Dragon Man. I hate that he cost so much money, as it makes me aware of messing about with him, plus the temptation to sell it, cause cash is always needed to continue this hobby/obsession of mine (and many others).

For me this year's best based on the two waves so far. Gotta go with Angela for the sheer excellence of the sculpt, Dazzler for the unique choice of the disco style, Sunfire who's so much fun to pose. Titus,Colossus, and Shatterstar also get honorable mention

Rumored Spider-Man wave 3.

Demogoblin, Spider-Punk, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Woman (presumably modern version), Mysterio, Prowler and Gwenpool.

I'll be curious to see if they can top the Spider-Man Classics Mysterio.

Btw who is demogoblin? I've never heard of him.... If he's another Green Goblin, that's a little ridiculous since we have Green Goblin the father, Green Goblin the son, and Hobgoblin.

During the Inferno story, Jason made a deal with that demon guy whose name I cannot pronounce or spell and he was merged with a demon to give him actual demonic powers. In the 90s, Jason wanted to be rid of the demon and as such in the storyline, "The Name of the Rose," he managed to rid the demon from his body. Thus, the demon changed his outfit to blue and red (instead of orange) and called himself Demogoblin.

I've been expecting this figure since Hobgoblin was first announced, so I'm looking forward to it.

I really hope that stupid Gwenpool is not real and I'm not sure how many versions of Spider-Woman there are left to do.

In real basic terms, Demogoblin is the Macendale Hobgoblin poseseed by a demon.

If Gwenpool is legit, I hope she has an interchangeable unmasked head.

Weapon X, Demogoblin is yet another of Spidey's Goblin-themed foes, though mystical in nature due to being an actual demon.

It would be funny if it was just a hapless thug.

And damn...that sucks.

I'd definitely get Mysterio, makes sense since he was a fan-poll finalist along with Darkhawk and Symbiote Spidey. I'd probably put him in my MU display as giant illusion Mysterio.

I'm pretty sure "Dead Meat" is the placeholder name for Vulture given that the rest of the figures around it are the Homecoming wave and Vulture isn't listed. Plus vultures are carrion birds, they eat dead meat.
