Nolan's movie was far superior because of his translation of the character and the removal of the character from comic similarities. That Bane was great, so was the movie even with some obvious character plot shortfalls. Can't win them all.
Yeah I have noticed that as well he thinks whatever he says is 100% right. He also Really loves to be a Smartass and then Back track on it.

Back on track now. That Multiple man looks Incredible I wish (I know unlikely) but They gave us Interchangeable arms instead of that other head so you can make him without the trench coat. Personally I like him with it.

Cool vid. If those are indeed are the opposite ends of the Monica, then I stand firm on my views on the topic. I personally ..cannot deal with all that which composed that Speed Racer movie..i mean ..I GET IT..it's fantasy, doesn't have to follow any logic(visually), just look the part and be.....true to itself???... But def not my cup of tea.. (and its seems not much for the masses either).
Though the person who made the video did sound a bit biased like Speed Racer could NOT have been made without that extent of formalism used. I disagree...believing, it again comes down to the creative mind that would pencil it.

Random: Remember Robin Williams in Popeye..i liked that movie a lot.

************************************************** ****

Every time I scroll past Multiple Man...I keep thinking....I really expected more. Yeah he's okay...but we all usually want more than just...ok.
I do not really know where this conversation started but I too LOVE Speed Racer movie from 2008. It had mind blowing visuals, good acting, and a deeper story about greed. It was essentially a Superhero movie on Wheels. We had the young hero in Speed, the unknown ant-hero/hero in Racer X and a story with meaning and the evils of greed.

Now, I actually like Popeye also. Where is my Mezo 1:12 Popeye? I think that movie was wonderful. I am more of a Bluto guy, he reminds me of Bud Spencer, but the actor died a few years back.

Now back to legends, I love Hasbro's showing and I am guessing they are saving Apocalypse for another con or even Toy Fair. I am surprised we did not see the Panther wave or move 12 inch Marvel Legends that will hit for the holidays at least.

You know... given that all the current and future Walgreens-exclusive figures, both confirmed and rumored, are connected to the Fantastic Four (Sue, Johnny, Reed, Medusa, Ben, and the not-quite-confirmed Super Skrull and Silver Surfer), who all here is hoping to see Doom grace their pegs with his presence before too long?

Because I am. All Hail Doom.

when i was first looking at the figure that is EXACTLY what i was thinking. I was looking at the BROWN, trenchoat sculpted arms which means if you pull the actual coat off you've got a weird looking figure and i would have loved for him to have normal blue arms. With it is cool...without it would have been a nice bonus.

you know what...I'm going to have an open mind. I have Speed Racer at home (never watched more than 5 minutes of it) and I'm going to watch it from beginning to end...and then i'll report back..

@DTL yeah I don't understand why they didn'!t they are giving us A set of interchangeable arms for MR fantastic. Because I guarantee half of people like Multiple man with the coat and the other half likes him without it. Like you said it would have been a Nice Bonus instead of another masked head

It's called an opinion dude. If I post it under my name, it is clearly my opinion. Just like what you post under your name is your opinion. Get over it and stop taking everything said on the internet seriously. God damn you people need to learn how humor works. This is the internet, NOT real life.

Anyway, is it just me or does Mr Fantastic appear to have a new body mold?

I know it's totally off topic (sorry guys ) but every time someone anywhere brings up the Batman and Robin version of Bane I feel the compulsion to lift Joel Schumacher over my head and break his spine over my knee. Yes the look wasn't too far off from the source material but hot damn Bane's first trip into movies was insulting. Why'd they make him the same color as broccoli?

That DST Ragnarok Hulk looks really good. I don't think I need to complete that wave for a great Hulk figure. I think the DST will be my stand in Legends Ragnarok Hulk.

But that Spiderman and those hips....why did DST change their hips to that gaping crotch? It look hideous especially on a character like Spidey. I think that maybe the first Spidery figure from Legends or DST I will pass on.

I've learned to accept entities for what they are on this forum and keep it moving. Though we are all mostly passionate about our hobby, don't let it get to ya.

Cause I'll bring up my story AGAIN (because I like telling it) of how Kain called me a douchebag for simply making a comment about figures that were never released...and he never even apologized. Yet I still have conversations with his afflicted self...lol

Betsy is definitely the highlight of the next few waves for me. Someone at Hasbro must really share the love for the character, because we are absolutely getting spoiled with all of her accessories.

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. Hard to tell from the few shots, but it kinda looks like it may clip onto the figure's head.

BAF most likely candidates are Professor X chair, Sauron, and Nimrod. As much as I want Sauron I think he will be 2020 now and they will give us the BAV chair.

The 7 figures my guess would be:'

1. Professor Xavier (no way they aren't giving us him and the chair in separate waves.)

2. Classic Mystique

3. X-23 Wolverine OR, if she's in a pack or something which I can totally see, Moonstar/Monet/Blink. Moonstar/Monet/Blink would take up the "never done before" figure spot if that's the case. For varying reasons I can see any of them, Blink for the TV show, Monet was pretty big in the comics recently and Moonstar has the longevity and the movie.

4. Nightcrawler

5. Gambit

6. Cannonball or Sinister (if we get Moonstar) or Sebastian Shaw/Exodus, if we don't, to give us our "never done before" figure. Besides I think they will want to give us another villain aside from Mystique, but there's so much to choose from, and if they do need a brand new figure those are the two most likely villains to choose from.

7. Beast
I'm totally down for all of this!! If not, I'm still hoping for another X-men 2-pack for 2018. The Dark Phoenix set flew off the shelves, I hope they took notice that X-men sell well.

A secret rule from Marvel about how toys of Spider-Man cannot come with realistic weaponry? It is possible such an oddity exists.

Box set would be the best way to give us classic 1st app versions of those much in demand X-men. I'd add Giant size T-bird as well. We already have Sunfire & tiger stripe Wolvy.

I was hoping we'd see the rumored Sabretooth in NYCC. I wonder if it's just a re-release of the Puck BAF one?

Mr Sinister has never been a character I could get into neither in the comics, toons or as a figure. Looked too much like a Vampire Colossus.

Much rather see a New Blob BAF by Hasbro.

Since we are getting Gladiator,How bout slipping in at least 1 IG member in future X-waves. At least the core members. Titan could be a BAF.

My wants for IG members would be:
Smasher
Fang
Earthquake
Electron
Warstar
Hussar
Starbolt

I never said I wasn't a jackass. I'm German, it's in my blood. I also learned from the best growing up.

If you don't like how I word things, go and block me, I couldn't care less. It's just one less hostile post I would have to read.

I'm not even sure where this came from as all I said is that the Bane in Batman & Robin was far closer to be comic accurate than the one in The Dark Knight Rises, which is actually true. That craphat used venom, got bigger from it and was from Brazil. Tom Hardy's Bane was just a regular man mumbling in a mask and only beat Batman because he was injured and out of practice. Nevertheless, neither of them were developed in the slightest and were a waste of what should have been a good villain. Then again, Bane was nothing more than a gimmick in the comics, so maybe he was just as accurate in that regard...
