I won't be using that head as a T'Challa, that'll be my "random brutha" head.
How can the head on the 12" be that much better??..and so far off on the 6"

So it didn't occur to me that Hobie Brown is Spider-Punk. I always thought it was another version of Pete.

That means we essentially got two Hobie Browns in the Lizard wave, doesn't it?

Also drove out to my local TRU in search of the Klaw and Shuri 2-pack. Went straight to the Legends section and saw nothing there so I was about to leave the store thinking it was bust. But then I saw that little "In Theaters" or whatever display they have out front where they have new figures for recently released movies, and I saw they had a Black Panther section there. Hidden amongst some of the toys was the 2-pack. I think this is the first time I went to TRU and found exactly what I wanted so I'm pretty happy. Both figures are freakin' awesome, I especially love Klaw but the Shuri is awesome too.

I had the same issue in my local toys r us. I couldn’t find that 2 pack until I went to the now in theater section or whatever it’s called.
Good call on the Hobie Brown figures. I totally forgot that spider punk was him and not another version of Pete.

Just finished knocking out my Constrictor custom as the Hasbro version was awful due to that outdated buck they used for it. I utilized the Eel buck for him along with Constrictor's head & forearms. Tentacles were from that playmation Ultron figure. Now waiting on King Cobra to start filling out the Serpent society's ranks.

since they took out a Punk spidey, they should make a Hip hop Spidey. that would be kool. maybe legends should start 'themed heroes and villians' they would use the same mold but with add ons and accessories. playmates is doing it.

Not to derail from the Legends, but I found the 84 Voltron at Target and TRU today. They only had the black lion at Target and they had the other four at TRU, but no black lion. I ended up picking up the set. I agree, I love the new show, but I’m glad I waited on the toy and didn’t pick up the Netflix version of the toy. I gotta say, I will open these at some point, but they look great in the package so I’m gonna leave them on the shelf as is for a while.

I did see a Warlock wave Colossus on the shelf at Target, which is the first time I’ve seen that figure since I bought mine right after they came out.

I hope we get the new anti-venom as a fig since its flash and he looks like the commando suit which is my favorite version of venom and this now anti venom. Guess i just love the soldier version more.

Seems like a fairly easy repaint, I’ll take it.

Considering Spider-Punk is actually a character from the comics (Earth-138's version of Hobart Brown), I'd imagine we're not getting anything like that unless there's another Spider-Verse event sometime.

I wouldn't rule out more Spider-Verse figures. Especially since the upcoming Miles Morales movie seems to be based on that story. In fact, I figure that's why we're getting an obscure character like Peni Parker as a BAF this year.

There's still a few semi-notable variants from the series they haven't touched: Spider-Ham, Spider-Man India, Armored Spider-Man and Old Man Spider immediately come to mind.

That's awesome! May I ask what you're using as a light source for the door?

It's especially bizarre since the Valkyrie figure has the opposite problem. The sculpt is pretty much perfect but the skin tone is much darker than Tessa Thompson's, who actually is pretty lightskinned. It's like there was a mixup at the paint section.

The minute I saw that photo online the first thing I thought was "How long until Hasbro makes this by slapping a new coat of paint on the Walmart Venom?" I'm sure Hasbro HQ did a collective fist bump when this was revealed.

Oh yeah, I have no doubt we're getting more Spider-Verse figures, those stories are a goldmine for Hasbro and we'll never stop receiving figures from it; I was just saying I doubt we'll see a "Hip-Hop Spidey" figure unless there's another Spider-Verse event and they make that concept into a character. Which would be pretty cool, just that they haven't yet.
