It's only a step from there to Glob Herman and I"m really not sure I want Hasbro to take that step.

Edit: just snagged the Black Knight off Amazon for $19.99 prime (no shipping). Hopefully the stock is actually in and I'll get the damn thing.

That's the only figure I'm going to get for this wave until we know what the exclusive is. If I have to buy a case and have two Black Knights so be it, at least he has alternate heads.

Amazon themselves wouldn't have jumped the price, them selling out would have replaced their offer in your cart with the next cheapest which happens to be the scalper price.

I agree with you ! I merely posted my personal opinion, someone had the desire to stir the pot and make what i said into this weekends debate.

It is what it is though. That's another reason i started to just kind of lurk nowadays rather then engage with folks with their certain mindset.

And that Kingpin still holds up. Though we really need a new one but I am sure the reason we haven't gotten one yet is because the sculpt would not be an easy reuse.

Maybe they could just make a full wave of old fat retired superheros?

Ha! Exactly I want them to get to a Netflix Kingpin and a comics one. Though the comic one would probably have to be a Baf in order for them to make him.

Well that's two down and Amahl Farouk in his human form is a 3rd but I can't think of who else. But I'm not well versed in the lesser known spider-man villains so I could be overlooking someone. Blob never worse a suit. Maybe Egghead but he didn't seem to be that huge.

Yeah same it’s kinda hard to think of one on a spot haha. But I would say Volstagg but once again no suit. I think Blob did wear a suit for like half a panel in a comic once hahaha so that could possibly be done.(doubt it) but other then that I can’t really think of anyone

Finally found some Avengers wave 2 in the wild. Grabbed Malekith and Black Knight at retail but passed on Antman and Wasp. Thor and Widow were already gone.

Same here, and I was mostly joking, but I do actually think the Penance costume could make for a genuinely interesting/fun figure (far more interesting/fun than the character ever managed to be in that costume)... Agree that we should probably get a proper classic Speedball first, though.

Agree. If we get Speedball it needs to be in classic Speedball outfit. Along with the rest of the core New Warriors, who have been even more forgotten about by Hasbro than Alpha Flight, and that's a real challenge to do.

Not really. Other than firestar the new warrior were a poor version of teen titans ( and a slight bit less interesting, just my opinion ) and alpha floght has always felt like the universe b version of a poormans xmen. ( runs and hids drom the impending throwing of fruits vegetable and possibly livestock )

I'd be down for this just to get a classic Nova. I prefer the Nova prime look but we already got that so I wouldn't turn down the original.

Penance would be an excellent choice because it actually ends up completing a Thunderbolts team- Moonstone, Songbird, Bullseye, Radioactive Man, Mac Gargan Venom (or Monstrous Venom)... Speedball would be great- but we are so dang far away from a New Warriors team. I would rather get a team completed than start building a new one from the ground up.

That's true, but think about how much Hasbro loves frustrating team builders. They'll probably sprinkle a couple of New Warriors like Justice and Night Thrasher into upcoming Avengers and Spider-Man waves and then leave people hanging.
