Speaking of Spider-Man, I am wondering if they're ever gonna attempt to complete the Dark Avengers by doing a Mac Gargan Spidey. Though I guess the recent black suit figure is a decent stand-in.

Maybe put the spidey head on the venom body?

These people inevitably ended up in human resources, as companies realized they were terrible at the "STEM" areas, and started hiring people who were like them. Scary part is, the people with the lower IQ's in any field, all seem to form clicks and groups, and that is how they keep their power.

This started around 2008-10 and by 2012, it was nutty people infiltrating organizations and hiring people not based on merit, but for ideology or some mandated quota by the government.

This is what has happened to comics sadly and it just doesn't sell. I have no idea how companies can pass up money. You don't get wealthy without capitalism. Capitalism is the greatest concept ever.
Hi there. I usually lurk these forums, but I kind of felt compelled to come forward and talk about this. I actually work in Human Resources and I specialize in Affirmative Action. This is absolutely not how this works at all and it seems like you have a very poor understanding of it. We're probably gonna get Jake Gyllenhaal Mysterio figure next year in one of the Spidey Legends waves, and I gotta say, I dig it.

ToyAddicts had a pretty nice-size trade show this past Saturday, wife and I came back with a nice haul

Not shown: Robot Spirits Bracer Phoenix, Transformers Universe (2008) Hardhead, and the SDCC 2014 Knight of Unicron box set (for only $50!)

Incidentally, I overheard some talk there that Archangel preorders through Gamestop are being delayed, possibly for months. Hence why we just picked him up there (for only a bit over Gamestop's price including tax). Magik was just so that we wouldn't have to stress about trying to find her, what with how impossible Surfer and Thing have been to grab.

^ Nice Pickups.

I myself wondered why Gamestop got in a bunch of the Yellow Buckethead two packs this week and no Archangels.

Mmmm, bucketheads.

Gotta get me some of those. I dig the Paladin repaint, weirdly enough, and my wife adores AIM soldiers

The deco on that figure, in particular...the logo, is surprisingly clean. Very nice.

I’d buy that in a instant. One of my favorite actors, playing one of my favorite Villains!

Does anyone have any suggestions for old display bases that'd go well for a Captain America display?

The original ML Captain America and Red Skull figures came with display bases that had a battle worn wall and a blown out tank.

A lot of the Marvel Select Avengers figures (comic and movie) come with bases that could work with Cap. The comic versions of Hawkeye and Black Widow both come with bases that have destroyed Ultron drones laying on the ground. The First Avenger Cap and Red Skull figures had bases that could connect to form the container that held the Teseract on the Red Skull’s plane.

Good luck with that. Over the last week and few days I've hit about a half dozen Walmart locations. Of them, I've found Ant-man and Wasp at most of them. One had everyone but Thor and Black Widow. The last one had everyone but Thor. If it wasn't for GameStop pre-orders, I wouldn't have Thor at all.

I had an early morning appointment (in dreary heavy rain but still 55 temps) and before stopping to grocery shop I hit a Walmart I seldom hit but was close to, but lo and behold, they had IW Black Widow! (and every figure except Black Knight and Thor) I never really felt much temptation to pay the absurd prices asked for online, but for a while I was tempted to just buy the torso.

Having Widow in hand she is a surprisingly nice figure and probably the best widow figure I've got, but despite having had the other parts for (in some cases) months, I had completely underestimated how big Cull Obsidian would be. For whatever reason I was expecting a more Ragnarok Hulk sized figure, so his height was surprising. Also, for whatever reason, he's a very good figure (maybe I got lucky in the QC this time), but everything snapped in well, the articulation is solid and works, and feels like a well made big figure.

I had also hit a few Walgreens on the way back, no Magik's (It's kind of odd that I want her, given that I have virtually no idea who she is outside of reading a wiki article on her after seeing the figure), it's really just an aesthetically pleasing design with a lot of accessories I like. No Things to be seen either, though oddly enough, one location that I occasionally visit for whatever reason got Mr. Fantastics in suddenly.

Are you looking for one still in box, or would you take a loose one? I might be able to help.
