I would assume the first Avengers wave but we don't even have a BAF revealed for that yet so we don't know for sure nor do we know what to call it, although the rumor mill says the BAF is Modak. I'm still holding out for Lockjaw lol.

Just grabbed the Genis Vell figure at Target, the only one from the Captain Marvel wave I really wanted.

No box, it’s a loose acquisition. I jumped on a Chinese prototype auction and nabbed him early. The same seller sold a few of them; Hercules, Living Laser, and Nighthawk. Hercules was the one I couldn’t pass up.
I’ve no clue what’s in the wave, but Nash’s prediction of MODOK as the BAF wouldn’t surprise me given the recent and unexpected redraft of Arnim Zola (which will arrive at my home after Hercules – looking like Friday). I believe that Beta Ray Bill will be in the same wave bringing the sum total of possible ‘knowns’ to 4: Herc, Bill, Night, and Laser. Now, I thought the teased Wendigo might be the Avengers BAF, but in retrospect it makes more sense as an X-men wave BAF including the Guardian that was also shown. Basically, who knows? |

All 7 of these figures have been revealed so it could be the entire wave but Hasbro could spread them out over two waves with more figures to be revealed. It would make more sense for these 7 to be the wave (with one of them being double-packed) since we've already seen all 7 of them but sometimes Hasbro is screwy.

"If a plastic product has any smell, it is best to avoid purchasing it. This smell indicates that the plastic is offgassing. Offgassing releases part of the plasticizer or stabilizer into the surrounding air, and into the lungs and eyes. It can also release onto the skin to be absorbed into the body. Many experts agree that avoiding contact with rubberized plastics using PVC is a good idea, although it is not always practical given today’s marketplace. Because Chinese-made rubberized plastic goods may have used recycled PVC plastics as well as rubber in their formulations, any plastic goods from China should probably be given the smell test before buying." Any of you remember how McFarlane Toys used to smell?? I wonder what that shit was doing to our bodies. I actually got rid of some figures after reading more about those plastics. Better safe than sorry i guess.. not trying to shit on your parade...just sayin..

Man, if off-gassing is gonna kill me, I've been in the game so long that it should've already done its job

Just to avoid quoting everyone, aweomse grab Blue. Glad to hear it!
As for the MODOK rumor, I still very much like the old MODOK BAF. Not sure if I’d upgrade to a new one if the wave is mixed comic and movie figures. Just need to cut down on purchases, what with my wedding coming up in 11 months. Honestly, I’d skip the new Black Costume Spider-Man and Red Goblin if I could just find the BAF parts. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Herc. The new one looks so damn good! |

I thought we were all operating under the rumor that the upcoming Avengers waves will be independently comic and movie themed.

Kinda disappointing, if so. Not a single female character. Hasbro had been pretty good about having at least two ladies per wave, until this one. Was hoping for Tigra, Jocasta, or possibly a well-deserved villainess to round out the wave.

@redfox
I might be going against the grain, but my guess is that the comic figures announced will be over two waves. I'm pretty sure there will be at least four females. And I agree Tigra, Jocasta, Mantis and Moondragon are Avengers I would love to see... Fingers cross. |

I don't normally have much time or energy to post much, since long hours, weddings, children etc. But I just launched my own business, and I finally got to sort out my ML display.
I don't use a host site so, if you're interested then just expand my crummy photos taken on an old pad. But since this is an appreciation forum, and I am appreciating my collection I thought I would share. I am currently waiting for Blacl Panther wave, Dr Minerva, Prof X and (yet another) Deadpool with bike and pets. I am in the UK so I get stuff sometimes earlier, oftentimes later. |
