There have been plenty up to this point that have got it right. The First Avenger, Winter Soldier, and Civil War Caps pretty much got them all right at the time of their release, though it's unfair to compare them to current figs due to advancements in sculpting, scale and digital face printing. And in the case of the Winter Soldier version, that can easily be fixed with a head swap from the 10th anniversary edition. I'd go as far as to say the "Agent Rogers" Cap with the headswap is the best version we've received of a movie Cap yet...and that's INCLUDING the Figurarts stuff that people seem to think are superior.

Only the IW and EG versions have dropped the ball thus far, but I think that has more to do with the secrecy behind those movies when they were in production and what they were given to work with, as opposed to Hasbro just flat out getting it wrong. Even then, they have their positive points, with IW having the best Cap body sculpt yet, and the EG (QR) version giving us a much needed updated headsculpt for an older figure if you're willing to put the work into it.

It is indeed the same exact body, although it honestly feels like the QC on the Cap version is a bit better than the Target version. My Target Version fig has wobbly hips in comparison to the single release, though that might not be for any particular reason.

For a short cape the Marvel universe black knights cape is good.
I used the VALKYRIE cape from the two pack which you can attach with superglue. Its more of a side cape like she is pictured with most of the time.

Damn. That looks really good. WS Cap is already my favorite but I may need to track down the 10th Ann. Cap for a headswap.

I know the Big 3 of this wave are Beast, Jubilee and Gambit, but I saw a lot of people weren't happy with this Forge (particularly the head sculpt) but having it in person, I don't see a problem at all. For a neutral looking Forge, this head sculpt is pretty fantastic. He definitely comes across more stern and less boring than the promo pics would have you think:

As far as the wave overall, I might give some more detailed thoughts later but I will say there's not a single figure here that I'm not overwhelmingly happy with. Period.

I've seen images that show Cap wearing what very much so appears to be the stealth suit in Endgame so I'm personally really hoping we get a new figure of that with his shield in its proper colors.

I noticed that too (seeing Cap in that suit again put a big grin on my face) and I sure wouldn't complain about a re-release.

Including the two you mentioned, I've also seen the Marvel Legends Black Knight's cape & the DC Collectibles: Terry Dodson Raven's shawl/cape used frequently on other boards and Instagram.

I'm feeling ya. I've been refreshing Brickseek on repeat all weekend. Been using the She'sFantastic blog to help settle the withdrawal symptoms... She's Fantastic: Marvel Legends - JUBILEE (90s)!

Yep, while there haven't been too many individual Caps that get it all right by themselves, we've gotten lots of great bits and pieces that can be swapped together to create ideal figures. That Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary Cap head is still the single best Chris Evans likeness I've seen outside of Hot Toys.

While the Age of Ultron/Civil War Cap body is a little skinny for my liking, I think all you'd need to do to make a better one is take the heads from the Marvel Studios 10th version, take the IW Cap and do a bit of resculpting (patching up the holes on the upper torso, adding full sleeves and gloves, modifying the neck peg/ball, and adding back the star, namely), you'd have a perfect one. I know that's still my plan... whenever I get around to learning how to paint and sculpt.

Just to chime in on the Lilandra cape issue. I have an extra Black Knight cape that I was going to use for her. But I'm using the Angela body. I have to test the cape out, it might be too small.

I picked up two QR suit packs last night to make use of the $25 off $100 coupon target is running at the moment. Wasn't difficult to get the rest of the way to $100 with Easter Basket things for the kiddos.

I was going to try and wait until they hit clearance like almost every other target exclusive has in the past, but with the deal going on and only one target in my city showing them "in stock" I went ahead and pulled the trigger.

I'll try Black Knights cape later and see if it's worth buying one for fodder. Actually I kinda want to just to try a 90s Black Knight and buy a Logan for his jacket.

I've got that one Detolf shelf that I'm just never satisfied with... it was a mash-up of X-Force members until this weekend- decided to go full early X on it- Other than the Smith Storm that NEEDS to be replaced with a Cockrum version ASAP I'm almost sort of finally happy with this set-up...
