Given that the MCU origins are different that comic origins for characters who have overly convoluted backstories (Seriously, Carol's comic origins are a mess of various power ups, power loss, ultra-creepy sexual incidents and uneven characterizations), I'd think a different source for Rogue's permanent flight and strength abilities would be a better choice anyhow. A lot of the original writing for Marvel characters was outright awful.

Starting Rogue off like her X-men Evolution incarnation and then having her drain an unrepentant (and throwaway) villain to death in order to save her team's life would be far more in line with the MCU and give a far better reasoning for Rogue to have the flight and strength without the energy manipulation behind them that Carol has.
_______________________

That said... I would like a modern Rogue Legends figure. The smaller Universe figure line had a lot of characters and costume designs that would be great to get 1/12 sized versions of.

Hell, this 80th anniversary line could get us some missing MCU figures too.

My ideas would be
Singles:
Korath (GotG)
Ronan (Cap Marvel)
Ayesha (GotG 2)
Chitauri w/ troop building accessories (Avengers)
Nebula (Endgame)
Starforce Male w/ Unmasked Yon-Rogg, Korath, Att-Lass and the viking-looking guy heads.
The Collector

2-packs:
Blonsky & Abomination
Whiplash & Full Armor Whiplash
Killian & "Igor"
Hulkbuster 2 & Quantum Suit War Machine
Malekith and Kurse
Quake & Ghost Rider (Robbie)
Odin & The Destroyer

As for Comic figures...

Modern Mandarin
Blue Marvel
Iron Heart 1st armor & current armor.
Iron Spider (because the older figure is pretty bad)
Quake
Pretty much all of the Young Avengers
Scorn
The Runaways
Nimrod
Bastion
White Wolf
Mojo
Spiral (I'd like a more modern frame on this but given how 'Meh' 6 armed Spidey was and how Doppleganger looks like more of the same, I dunno)
Man-Spider
Longshot
Marrow (MvC2 look)
Maggot
Cecilia Reyes
Doombot
Brood
Shuri (no costume)
The Cuckoos

Of course, I'd also like re-releases of the MCU Wanda/Vision 2 pack and the Cyclops/Dark Phoenix 2 pack.

I definitely wanna see pics when you're done.

Speaking of Beta Ray Bill, I'm looking forward to the possibility of customs using the 80th Thor.

Actually, I loved her voice actress. Allison Court also went on to do Claire Redfield in Resident Evil and I lamented the day Capcom stopped using her as Claire.

I just don't care for Jubilee because she's 90s Kitty. Plus, her powers would only affect those on acid. She belongs as a headliner to Nine Inch Nails more than she does a super hero.

Maybe he was constipated and was in the midst of a power squeeze! haha

If you're a hardcore X-fan go see the movie. Myself, I wished I'd waited & watched it when it's on HBO.

More endgame hot-takes:

Rock Python is a pleasant surprise. The blue and purple tones are pretty satisfying individually and compliment one another. The paint job stands out and it helps make a shamelessly re-used mold (grim reaper) into a semi-winner. Despite the fact that dude's wearing a bedpan - yeah - the sneer they crafted for his face brings it all together and transforms that bedpan into a kinda-sorta-python-head-from-the-bottom-maybe. But its effectiveness is obvious. "Hot-take" - others might hate it.

I'm actually looking forward to getting him. I really like the Serpent Society, I'm really hoping for the announcement of Anaconda or one of the other ladies, mamba, asp, coachwhip etc.

I want Asp and Anaconda also. Its funny how I was initially ambivalent, but now I'm excited to see more and more of the squad get filled. I also want Puff Adder, Death Adder (more aquatic-dinosaur looking than anything else - always thought that was odd), and Bushmaster. The upcoming Cannonball fig makes me both excited and concerned for Bushmaster. Obviously, the two would function the same way, but the vocalized aggravation over half a fig (I also want legs for Sam - why? - simply because he isn't always flying) has me worried that Hasbro might get scared off.

Wait, you are telling people to go see it, but then you say you wished you had waited to see it for free. o_O That's the weirdest recomendation ever.

I will not drop a dime on this film.

What I'm saying is that hardcore X-fans will see it no matter what. I am not recommending the movie. And I'm trying not to spoil it for those who have their heart set on going.

I find myself surprised at how much I want to complete this team. I was never really a big fan but after they started making this line up I googled the team and read up on their exploits. I'm a fan now. On another note...I want a serpent crown accessory.

I would love to complete the Serpent Society or at least have more representation of the team. They have interesting designs, color palettes, and are kinda ridiculous characters, almost over the top lol.

I'm a hardcore X-Men fan and I will not pay to see that tub of dogshit.

It doesn't help that most of the reviews said Sophie Turner is the best thing about the film and if that emotionless twig is the best thing about a movie, you know your movie is fucked. Hell, she makes Brie Larson look talented.

Which is how comic book characters should be. I would love to see them done in the movies too because it would mean we'd finally get villains that feel like comic book villains too.

I wouldn't worry too much about Bushmaster because unlike Cannonball, he's not meant to have legs, and if handled properly his tail could actually be the big selling point.

I’m going tomorrow. I’m not expecting much, but as a long time X fan, I want to see it. Personally, I loved Apocalypse and that was spat upon by mostly everyone. At the end of the day, what you like is what you like.

Jubilee isn't 90s Kitty. She is 90s Boom Boom.

I 100% agree on Dark Phoenix. I am only into Marvel because of the X-Men, and that movie just looks awful.
