Maybe try looking into ToyBiz's Lord of the Rings line. Lots of intricately helmeted characters in that line.

Was a fellow Arker looking for a Vintage Wasp? I thought I read that a few pages back. I found one today if anyone is interested...sale or trade. Let me know.

That’d be Archangel. He was looking for one I believe.

My WWII Cap arrived today (via Pulse). I'm really liking this set. An alternate unmasked head would have been great, for sure, but I'm more than happy having only the helmeted option. Whatever you do, though, DON'T remove the helmet. Without it that $#%@ just looks...weird. The bike & accessories have some nice detail, and some weathering on the bike is a nice touch. The bike itself has me imagining what a 1/12 scale G.I. Joe line could be, but I digress...all-in-all I'm very happy with this purchase.

On a side note, I spotted remnants of the vintage X-wave at Gamestop today. Samurai and Cyclops, specifically. I passed on both since I already have pre-orders in, and the wait for those two isn't worth Gamestop's $3 markup per fig.

Nice haul SymbiSpidey! I thought for sure I liked my BAF Juggernaut better than the new one, but I am hesitating a bit now. LOL.

And I saw a vintage Iceman at my Gamestop... would have bought it but it was missing his X-men belt.

I looked at BK's different heads. Nothing really screams viking or Asgardian but thanks for the tip.

Woohhoo! That's the price point I've been waiting for Skullbuster to hit. You know this onslaught of waves may not be a bad thing for our wallets. It seems like things are going on clearance faster to make room for the next batch of figures.

Thanks! I'll look into the line.
Also check out the Mythic Legions line, they do knights, barbarians, vikings, gladiators, and people piece out the figures on eBay all the time!

If that's true, I'm going to pick up 3 figures from Target tomorrow and return them using the receipt from the figures I bought last month.

With four days to go before SDCC starts, I have to give major Kudos for keeping us surprised this year. Aside from a half dozen figures, and the fact we know that there is a third Avengers wave and it's probably all MCU, we don't know much at all about what's coming.

I said it before but the things i hope they do show are :JIm Lee Storm in black, another Alpha Flight member (or two because if it's Northstar we absolutely need Aurora with him) and another OG Thunderbolt, since they appear to now be on course for completing the main cast of those teams, and of course Firestar. Beyond that I couldn't even guess with a more than 50% probability what they'll show us, aside from general wave themes - ie, we know there will be an X-Men wave, a Spider-Man wave etc.

Nah, it's time they finally show us First Appearance Storm. There is no need to show off a black Jim Lee Storm as that would kill the sales of the vintage one.

I also hope they finally show off a classic Vulture.

I wonder why they haven’t made a Classic Vulture…I mean the two pack ones not terrible but I’ve never seen it in person and from pics I’ve seen I’m not really a fan. But at Sdcc
I’d want a Classic Electro, Firestar(No Surprise) and maybe a Classic Shocker as well. On the X men side of things along with 1st appearance Storm I’d kill for a Classic Angel, Banshee, and possibly a Thunderbird for Giant sized X men.

My personal top ten reveals would be:

1. FA Storm
2. Banshee
3. Thunderbird
4. Shadowcat
5. Vulture
6. Firestar
7. Shaman
8. Snowbird
9. Angel
10. Classic Adam Warlock (the least likely of these, but he’s a favorite of mine, and I need to have a good figure of him in the outfit I remember).

Two-pack Vulture is serviceable... but not good enough. I’ll like it better once they give us a classic one. Better yet, a classic Adrian Toomes with a Blackie Drago alternate head.

Damn! I forgot about Morph and Mimic. That’s a good pick especially animated Morph they could include multiple heads with him just like the 90’s Fig. I’d love a Mimic but id have to go with the 1st appearance one.

I’m betting the next retro wave is Spider-Man. Maybe with a new Spider-Man (on the Sunfire body?), Doc Ock, rerelease of Mysterio, a Chameleon, Alistair Smythe, a classic Lizard (that’s a pipe-dream, but I can hope), Shocker, and maybe that’s where they put Vulture.

I understand that - and it is time now that we've got one Jim Lee Storm - I know many wanted FA more than JL, I just happened to be opposite. you do make a valid point about not reducing off sales, so maybe they will hold off a little bit before giving out the same mold in black, though I'm sure she'll be coming at some point.

It has to be coming, but I think they’ll wait until Toy Fair (or New York Comic-Con) before showing it.

I already have my definitive Storm with the new Jim Lee version, but FA Storm is still high up on my wants list.

Oh, I totally forgot about Longshot! I’d love a new figure of him, especially with the new Outback Dazzler. Tigra would be great too...
