Heads up everyone Target is in the middle of resets for fall. Just walked in and grabbed the whole retro wave minus Patch Wolvy and Nightcrawler as well. Left Cannonball and Boom Boom behind no Sinister or Guardian but the cases had clearly just gone out recently.

Looked like the Iron 2 pack was imminent as well.

Does hasbropulse send out shipping notices or do they just charge you and ship with no notice?

Unboxing Toy Convention is this weekend! Please Hasbro, show us Firestar! Even JUST firestar would be a win! There's no reason to connect her to this particular convention, just we are desperate at this point!

Hey Marine! Yeah- Destroyer is also the Select version (it's an amazing figure- highly recommend it for any Thor-centric shelf) Falcon, however- is custom. Hopefully we get a classic Falcon in short order- but I made this fellow a ways back from a... (I think Ben Reilly SpiderMan and Photon- or whatever Marvel Boy was calling himself at the time)

Welp, I finally cracked my first torso for a custom I'm trying to make. Scary but didn't ruin it so I'm happy lol.

What's the best method to crack the abdomen or pop it off the pelvis peg?

Just got my SDCC Exclusive Vintage Hulk from Amazon today, looks really good, and it's huge too, and a nice shade of green skin and purple pants.

Stopped into Target during lunch. The reset has started, with Legends having moved an aisle down, and taking up a little less room (at least for now), though I did see an 80th Anniversary Iron Man, so new product is happening.

Thanks for the heads up, BB.

I want the 80th Iron Man, Cap, and Thor. I'll cancel my Dorkside order if I see them in GS, or wherever I'm fortunate enough to find them.

I'm becoming frustrated with Hasbro playing favorites to brick-and-mortar outlets by supplying them first, while seemingly delaying product shipments to web-only outlets. It's bad enough to waste gas and effort hunting, but sabotaging the convenience of the online workaround feels unnecessarily cruel. Lol ...it isn't funny tho'

I stopped by Walmart today and saw that they had pegs out for Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. Cap had two pegs labeled. Not sure if they're going to get a bunch in or if they'll be putting out more of the Power and Glory Cap.

@TBM, just a heads up but GS has Thor and Iron Man listed on their site with a $5 markup.

It's funny, because I've noticed it flip-flops between who gets them first, at least around here. I'd assume that B&M stores would've, well, basically tried to pay Hasbro's favor, especially in the wake of TRU, to get the product first, but the local toy shop here gets all their orders through online services, and half the time they get the waves first.

So who friggin' knows any more.

I have been having similar thoughts. It's frustrating to see that people have been finding these figures in stores going back to middle or even early July and then login to (in my case) Dorkside just to see the very same items still at the pre-order phase. I usually consider myself sufficiently patient but Hasbro's practically spoiled us into expecting a more instant gratification with their modern practice of dumping so much new product in quick succession.

I have no intention of pursuing one but I was looking at the SDCC Hulk online to see exactly how different it looks in-hand from the two-pack version. Aside from the obviously unique head sculpts and accessories it's just the paint that's different but it interests me how I feel that the SDCC version did some parts better and some worse. Coloring his nails, veins, and the fraying around the tears in his pants are nice touches but in most reviews I've seen the area around his eyes has this weird runny mascara effect. The coloring on his skin appears to lack the tone shifts that the two-pack version has.

Hey, thanks, jwyss234, I nabbed Thor. He and Iron Man are the only ones I would have paid a little bit more to get a little bit sooner. I would have gotten Iron Man also, but for whatever reason, he had a street date. Weird.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. Every time I think I've got it sussed out, it does a 180 on me. I go Dorkside - it ends up BBTS. I revert to BBTS - Dork. I wait for the store release - BBTS and Dork get it. It's been ridiculous for a while, but now it's really, really ridiculous. I give up...

It is frustrating. To add insult to injury, many of the B&Ms have their own online presence where you can also get spot items - not all, adding additional layers of inconstancy and aggravation. Had they tightened their distribution game, not only might they've compensated for the 15% TRU void, but they might've been on the road to greater saturation in both the collector and casual markets. But hey, it's just money left on the table...no bigge, right?

Dude, I buy every Hulk. Sure, I wasn't saying it was better than our brand spanking new Sal-Hulk...but it was WELL worth the money IMO. But keep in mind that I haven't met many Hulks that I didn't buy and this tracks back to my early childhood.

I might disagree with the things you believe, but I still respect you as a man and human being. I felt the need to express this because I'm trying to be better than I have been in the past. These are highly charged and polarized times and people's passions and beliefs are making us forget that we share a planet with one another.

At the end of the day, beyond what we've all been conditioned to believe about what's right/wrong, I think there are more ties that bind us than constructs that separate. Hence our being on this site gabbing about toys...

So how much is everyone paying for the SDCC Hulk? Just grabbing them from from amazon or eBay? I want to try to get it on Hasbro Pulse but it may sell out. I'm debating just buying it so I don't miss out.

Finally am getting the Loki and Corvus Glaive 2 pack from Walmart.com, so excited, been wanting it forever. I sold my Ragnarok Loki because I didn't like it, but I kept his helmet so I could use it on this new one and have a screen accurate armored green Loki.

Also ordered the Homecoming 2 pack with some discounts, got it for $36. I'm excited for the Spiderman so I can pose him like on this poster:

I wasn't responding to anyone's posts in particular when I was talking about Hulk, I was just using the space of the forum to write out what distinguishes the two with my own feelings tossed in. The key takeaway is that they're both great and Hulk fans can finally rejoice over our comic accurate figures that we arguably paid too much for.

I've been thinking about the Unboxing Convention. if he doesn't get shown I might have to move Sunspot up my wishlist a bit. he's "merely" in my top 30, but with all the other original New Mutants being released in some costume or other, even if not NM costume, his absence will be felt even more.

Granted Unboxing is in Mexico and he's Brazilian, but would anyone be offended if I said maybe they'll show him this weekend, since there's a Latin or Hispanic connection there? No offense intended, I promise and I don't mean to start any diatribes.

Also, given he's not from X-Force #1 but shows up shortly thereafter, and is a core member for a large part of the series, he's definitely someone I'd want in my X-Force lineup, especially over Feral or Rictor. Who interestingly enough are also Latin or Hispanic, maybe they'll get shown!
