After no word at SDCC I decided to bite the $90 bullet and get a Warpath (which- of course- means that he'll be revealed at the next Con) My old custom Warpath- that I was going to toss- actually fits the Thunderbird look well enough that he slipped into the 80's shelf... now just waiting on Hasbro Pulse for Cannonball and BoomBoom

These are the Walmarts and Targets in my area....
The last 2 have the newest stock I've seen in awhile

Cannonball before painting, the lower torso definitely needed modification aside from not having legs, that's as close to his sides that the arms will get

Anyone need BAF pieces? This is just the tip of the iceberg

^ Nice Cannoball! I wish I was better at customizing... I tried to swap legs on my Demolition Man, but it didn't go well so I ended up just trashing both figs... that was the last time I tried customizing a Legends figs. LOL.

And damn... that Havok has been sitting on that Target peg for 3 years. Havok was pegwarming at my Target too, but I bought him to complete my Juggernaut last year I think. I mean Misty Knight will probably pegwarm at Walmart forever, but Walmart always has super old stuff... Target usually clears out all the older stuff eventually.

Meijers is even worse than walmarts. They havent ordered any new figs since getting one box of armored thanos. They still have janice lincoln beetle pretty much the entire okoye wave gwen pools speed demons and silver suited cap america. They havent ordered anything new in a long time. And they never ordered an dc multiverse stuff. Its like they are a toy graveyard who refuse to bury the corpse.

Funny enough for me it's the opposite. My local Target has 8 Misty Knights still at full price, one of my local Walmarts has 6 Gwenpools and 5 Spider-Women but at least those are newer than Misty, and my closest Walmart is currently dealing with having overstocked the Kingpin and first Endgame waves.

There had been a single Misty Knight at my local Target that I had seen for nearly a year. I kept thinking I'd pick her up once she hit clearance. Never happened. Finally, bought her so I could take advantage of Target's "spend $50 and receive a $10 gift card" offer. Now that I have her, I don't regret it. She, Toybiz Luke Cage and Dazzler have inspired me to do a 70s themed display one day. I'm just waiting for Hasbro to release a classic Arcade figure in platform shoes and a Hypno-Hustler so I can make my dream come true.

It's funny, I just realized that I haven't seen a Misty in a while around here. Or a Havok. The biggest hangers-on are Gwenpool (Walmart and Walgreens both have an abundance) and a good chunk of the Cull Obsidian wave (Wasp is the worst offender, but Malekith and Ant Man have been lingering as well, and even BK and Widow aren't hard to find).

And most of the Captain Marvel wave, but only at Target.

I still see Misty Knight, Speed Demon, the lady Beetle, Dazzler, Polaris, Black Bolt, Namor, Gwenpool, Songbird, Cobra, Ant-Man, Wasp, Malekith, Cloak, Dagger, Elektra, the whole Kree Sentry wave (at least that’s better at Target since they clearanced them), and I’ve hardly seen any of the waves past that at retail. No one around me (except GameStop, and literally one Target) carried the Caliban wave. What’s frustrating is that they won’t clearance them since they’re all on the same product code.

Ordered. Nightcrawler from Amazon last night and I walk into a Walmart today and what do I find? The entire Wendigo wave. So I bought the whole set.

Good news is Nightcrawler AND Wolverine are the double packs, in case anyone didn't know. Probably why Nightcrawler came back in stock on amazon lol.

No, they're a US company. I've only seen them in Indiana but their wiki page shows they also have stores in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky.

I can’t wait for mine to come in. I ordered it at Game Stop and they said it should be in some time this week. I am starting to get annoyed with SuperVToys. I pre-ordered Beast and Gambit back in February from them and not only have I not gotten them yet, but I haven’t gotten a response when I sent a emails asking about it.

I agree 100%! I have the Cap Wolf figure and the retro pack one, and I might sell them both after getting this one.

I was thinking more about the possibilities for a second X-men retro wave and I kind of can't believe I didn't echo the request for Rogue. She would be one of the easier options since it'd largely just be a repack of the Juggernaut wave figure but preferably with a new head/hair that doesn't have the ties from her headband sticking out. Back when the Juggernaut wave was new I found Rogue a few times but I passed on her every single time because of the hole in the side of her head.

So I'm throwing out a thought here, it's probably been discussed here or on other sites but...in a couple of years, not 2020 because that's already planned, and not 2021 with its 3 big movies and a need for more X-Men waves if A0A truly does take over the regular wave in 2020, but let's say 2020:

Who would be interested in a year of the villain. Not counting MCU movie waves, so I'm guessing we'll have three of those for GOTG 3, Captain Marvel 2 and Black Panther 2, which I'm assuming will all come out that year. But what if every other wave was villains only? 2 X-Men villain waves, 2 Spider-Man villain waves, 1 Hulk villain wave, 1 F4 villain wave and 1-2 Avengers-centric/Thor, Cap and Iron Man wave(s)- feel free to redistribute this as need be.

One year only. No heroes at all! Could it be done? Would it sell? Personally I'd love it. If I looked at my wishlist, excluding X-Men related wants, and remove Alpha Flight and a handful of Avengers, Thunderbolts and New Warriors, it's almost all villains. Toy Biz did it with one wave, I challenge Hasbro to do it for an entire year.

I doubt it would happen, only because, while there's a lot of marketable, iconic villains, few could be the "anchor character" of a whole wave. The Cap/Tony/Spidey/Wolvie are solid figures to get a wave to sell, if only when selling it to retailers. Sure, we as buyers would go for all-villain waves, but Hasbro has to sell it to the people who'll sell it to us. They need that support, otherwise the wave doesn't hit shelves.

The only real counterpoint to that is the Venom wave, since Venom, while being an antihero half the time, is still primarily perceived as a Spidey villain. And even there, the wave still included Spider-Ham to have the iconic image of Spider-Man in the wave (sure, there was Poison, but general audience likely didn't know that was a Peter Parker until they read the box).

The best bet to make an all-villain wave happen would be to fudge it into "villains and antiheroes", and use characters who, visually, are similar to the iconic characters to help sell the wave (For instance, use Daken or Albert as the 'Wolverine', USAgent as the 'Cap', etc). Even that might be a stretch.

But hey, if Hasbro made it work, I'd preorder that whole damn wave, even if I didn't want all of it.

Saw 80th Cap, Iron Man, and Thor at Walmart during my lunch break today. They had 6 each of IM & Thor plus 8 Caps, all hanging entirely separate from other Legends.

They must've just put them out, 'cause I saw the stock guy working his pallet.
