If you watch the SDCC Marvel Legends panel, they do mention it during their slide show presentation. That said, it came across as more of a "quit your bitchin'" response.

Agreed and I'd happily take them both.
I woulda been more excited by the cobbled together outta spare parts punisher if itd been green and didnt have that stupid molded gun in holster. I mean seriously at what they anymore charge everything should have a holster or sheath.,

Looking to add an Asgardian style helmet to the upcoming Valkyrie figure. Does anyone know any lines/figures with such an accessory that might fit?

I think some of the ToyBiz LOTR figures had removable helmets. I have no idea what kind of condition they might be in at this point though since they would be about 14-18 years old. I've also seen people recommend Mythic Legions for Asgardian soldiers but I'm not sure if they have removable helmets or interchangeable heads (probably the latter).

I feel mostly indifferent towards all of the upcoming "variant" single re-releases that were shown-off. I do hope they sell well enough so that we could possible see another wave of variants with some more inspired character choices.

So I was at Walmart for popcorn and in the toy section they finished their reset and had the 80th stuff out including the Juggernaut pack but then no Captain America (which I thankfully don't want). This pack rocks. The Hulk and Wolverine pack was great but the Hulk did all of the heavy lifting there since Wolverine was 90% the same toy as the last one. For this set though both figures bring a lot to the table. Juggernaut is yet another case of Hasbro redoing a BAF better as a single item. The main perk of this is giving him alternate hands and a nicely done alt head but in my opinion these colors also look better than the BAF. I will note that I'm not a fan of how his thumb is sculpted on his alt left hand and that I agree with others in thinking his Cain head is a bit too beat-up looking but since these are just alt options they don't detract from the overall toy. Colossus is just a great take on his classic costume. His hips do look on the small side of things but they don't limit him in any way either. Just a great pack that fills out the X team and gives them an iconic opponent.

I'm loving that Juggernaut and Colossus set! Great pics, En Sabah! I keep checking WalMarts, I'm looking for that 80th Captain America. I'm hoping I can find one for myself and 2 for 2 of my friends. Walmart exclusives get hard to find in my area.

Love that Juggernaut from that two pack. Kinda makes me wanna pick up one on my own. I do on the other hand prefer the Marvel select Colossus to this one. I know it’s oversized but it’s just perfect otherwise. When I do pick up that Juggernaut pack would anyone be interested in the Colossus?

Funny story... I kidnapped my wife this morning to go hunting for 80th Cap this morning. We hit two Walmarts with no luck. At our third, I walked right by their recent reset, lucky my wife cut off a guy who was stacking up on 80th Caps. He had at least 3 in his hands before she grabbed one. I looked the figure over a while for blemishes, and to see how long the guy would hover while I made my selection. I noticed 2 more in their overstock, and looked them over too before putting them right back out of reach...short shady looking dude. I’m betting this guy has been hitting all the local Walmarts...hence every reset in my area was missing only 80th Cap and Storm. I would give him the benefit of the doubt, but he was grabbing them and tucking, not even looking at the quality...hence scalper and not a collector. My wife was happy that she saved me today, and finally believes me about scalpers.

I pray this is true. Hopefully he has a normal non screaming head this time. Don’t like the yelling or normal masked head he comes with.

I'd be happy if we did, I've been hoping for a shot at Rhino for a good while now. One possible route that's recently arisen from SDCC is just giving us a straight repack of the BAF with the armored Spider-Man that was revealed since that's how both characters looked in the Ends of the Earth story. Of course they could always go classic but then I damn sure want a new head for Rhino because I think the screaming one the BAF uses looks terrible in most poses.

Earlier today i went to the Walmart store when I was out of town just to look around for a movie and tshirt.

I went into the toy aisle and i was surprised to see not only did the Walmart store have the "Retro Toybiz" Marvel Legends X-Men figures but also World War II Bumblebee of the Transformers Bumblebee movie along with Optimus Prime and Shockwave.

also the Walmart store just now has in stock the Colossus and Juggernaut pack but thats a little pricey in the 30-40 dollar range for now.

I wouldnt be suprised if later this month all of those figures will be hoarded away by the male Walmart workers or the Marvel Legends Retro X-Men figures will be bought out in September.

I was tempted to get the Australia Dazzler figure but I had to hold on money for gas to get back home and needed to get a few groceries and a tshirt anyway

I did the same, she never wore one with that costume anyway, I removed the jacket and did an arm swap, but I'm thinking I like her better with the jacket

if were talking BAF + 1 , King-pin Vs Dare Devil / Spider-man. Just give them a shit ton of accessories and effects. I would probably get this so that i have an extra suited body for shadow king, getting hold of the king pin baf pieces was difficult.

I am absolutely hoping for a Kingpin vs Daredevil pack, they could make it the black suit Kingpin to differentiate it from the BAF and repaint the Sp//dr wave DD in classic red. Kingpin vs Spider-Man would make sense too but we get more Spider-Men figures than we do DD, if Spider-Man gets a retro wave next year they could put a cartoon Kingpin in there and then he'd be on his own.

Finally got things on display, looking forward to adding in some and swapping out others. Great time to be a child of the 80s, because this is pretty symbolic of my childhood!
