As a fan of the 90's Spiderman cartoon I am loving the repro figures! I had all of them growing up so it will be great to have ML versions of them!

Nope...that's pretty much it.

Can't wait to see this one hanging out with the original on pegs 5 years from now...some of my local stores STILL have her...

Yes... Maverick! And since we are getting the Teenage Warhead girl I wonder if we will get Yukio in one of the Anniversary 2 packs. Also Hugh Jackman is a very handsome man... even at 6" scale.

If there's enough flak on it they might repaint them like they did Magneto's boots, it all depends on how soon she comes out. But otherwise that's a fantastic figure. Hell it's already a fantastic figure just a minor detail there missing.

That's one of the two big missing figures in the line. Maybe 2021 for the other....o_O

Man the more I see of that Retro Spidey, the more I need it. I didn't think anything would challenge the MAFEX Spidey but that Spidey looks amazing and it looks like it's using the same articulation that Beast has for the torso.

Peter Parker and Gwen/MJ also look incredible.

Really, this was a great day of reveals.

Of what we've seen, I'm most excited about Nimrod, Black Tom, FA Storm, and War Machine. Already pre-ordered Leader and Mar-Vell. I don't have the same feels y'all do for AoA, but I'm happy for those that want that wave.

I was hoping to see the rest of the retro Spidey wave, but I'm digging what was shown there, as well. Gwen and street-clothes Pete are definite buys. Super cool stuff. I don't really need another Spider-Man, though. That's not to say I won't buy him. I just don't neeeed him.

I'm really hoping the fact we're getting FOX X-movie characters means we can get a re-do of Tobey Maguire Spidey somewhere down the line haha

I feel like if we can get naked movie Mystique there is absolutely no reason we can't get Tigra and Selene and a Hellfire version of Emma

Outside of giving him alternate hands, and a Tobey headsculpt, I'm not sure Hasbro could top the original Toybiz figure from the first Spider-Man. That figure still holds up.

I'd love to see them try though.

I never had the luxury/time/money to buy the original X-Men movie figures such as Toad, Mystique, Xavier, old man Magneto and Wolverine

anyone here happened to buy them back then when they were in stores? were the play gimmick cool back then or kind of wack?

I loved those figures back in the day, but I'd still love an updated figure without the birthing hips balljoints and unnecessary finger articulation haha

Yes. Yes. Yes. I wish they’d do a Sam Raimi Spidey wave like this X-men movie ones.

They specifically mentioned that 2020 is the 20 year anniversary of the first X-Men movie. I'm wondering if they'll make 20th anniversary figures for several of the early Marvel movies.

There were several articulation points on that Ultra Possible Spiderman from the second movie that were useless like the diaphragm joint that barely moved and that weird shoulder joint that allowed the arms to hinge upward.

I had a few of the figures back in the day. The quality of the play gimmicks varied from figure to figure. I had Wolverine, Cyclops, Sabretooth, and a 2 pack of Logan and Magneto. Wolverine, Cyclops, and Sabretooth were decent but I really didn't like 2 pack figures due to the play gimmicks.

Count me in on that. I would like versions from all of the past Marvel films. Blade, X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Elektra, Fantastic 4, Ghost Rider, Hulk, The Punisher, Doctor Strange, Captain America. Of course some of these will never see the light of day, but I'm a film guy. Like them or not, they are part of Marvel's history.

Although there will be figs from Mahershala's Blade, I would be all over a revisit of Snipes' Blade.

Nope, just a movie Daredevil is the Toybiz Legends line that wasn't even really a legend, he has peg shoulders and hips, so no outward movement whatsoever (blasphemy for such an acrobatic character!!!)
