I think they did specifically say he'd be a deluxe figure. But...having Magneto, Rogue and Sabretooth as options as pack ins would be decent choices....oh what am I saying. I want a second damn AOA wave.

Amazon France has a listing up for Nimrod: https://www.amazon.fr/Marvel-Legends.../dp/B083PBYXX6
Evidently he’s in a three-pack with Psylocke & Fantomex? Presumably, that’s X-Force Psylocke. Kinda irked at this, since uncanny X-Force isn’t a group I care about collecting (sold off Deadpool & Wolverine a while ago), and Nimrod is a figure I really want. |

Definitely need to see pics of this new proposed set. Just bought the X-force versions of both, but I'd be willing to buy them again on improved figure molds.
Using the character of Fantomex as a kind of anchor point for possible costume variations for this Psylocke, she's swapped costumes quite a few times while being on teams with him or story-wise in close proximity to him in the comics. I feel like the best bet for Bets are possibly from her costumes in the Dark Angel Saga, Marvel Now: X-force, or the ANAD Astonishing X-men. And I actually Googled images of his comic book incarnation, and the BAF reflects it perfectly. Last edited by Dolemite; 04-22-2020 at 05:37 PM.. |

Wait... so the only way to get Legends X-Force Archangel is that SDCC set from a long time ago? Or do you think they will eventually re-release X-Force Archangel too? And will it be an exact version re-release because both X-Force Psylocke and Wolverine got mold upgrades. Maybe that is a different Psylocke and not X-Force Psylocke.

Re: crimson dynamo
I like the dieselpunk look and the translucent bits on the armor... kinda holding out for a comic version though. Anything seems vaguely possible now. |

Personally, I'd like to see the Marvel Now version come to light, but I'd really like to see some changes implemented to the female body mold, namely in the form of some split-toe tabi booted feet which that costume had. They already had something close with the MCU Dora/Okoye feet, I can't imagine it to be that hard to go a bit more generic with the look. Little touches like that really make a figure pop as opposed to being another ho-hum repaint.
A new headsculpt is sorely needed as well. I wasn't a fan of the one from the Apocalypse wave at all. It looks more like Disney's Pocahontas than it does Psylocke. If they can give us gorgeous headsculpts like Family Matters Scarlett Witch, Dark Phoenix Jean Grey, the vintage Storms and the recent Deadly Origins Widow, then they can damn well do it for Psylocke as well. I wouldn't be upset at the ANAD costume either, although there is a rumor that this Psylocke might actually end up being either the Captain Britain version (aka caucasian Psylocke), or Kwannon, who I guess is going by that name now. I guess the theory behind it is that since this version of Nimrod closely resembles the version featured in Power of X/House of X, that the other two characters we will be recieving follow in that vein. As long as it is not the Crimson Dawn Psylocke...I'd be happy with either one. That would be too simple of a repaint, and will be giving people the same "cheaped out" vibes the recent Ms. Marvel did. I'd be really surprised if we get Captain Britain or Kwannon. They'd have called the former "Captain Britain", and the latter would basically be the same figure as the Apocalypse-wave Betsy. The most likely outcome is a repainted Apocalypse-wave figure in black instead of navy blue and with a different belt, which is what she wore for most of Remender's Uncanny X-Force. I wouldn't put much stock in what the Nimrod figure says about which Psylocke we're getting. First of all, they said at Toy Fair that Nimrod featured different faceplates and removable pink rods, for display either as the classic or Powers of X version, and secondly, Psylocke and Nimrod don't have much to do with each other in any storyline, and Fantomex and Nimrod even less so. This is a bizarre grouping, and I think looking for thematic links is a losing battle. I'd be down with an Uncanny X-Force Psylocke, but I'd rather they go fully random and give us Outback Psylocke, just to keep us scratching our heads.

I'd also really like an X-Force Archangel repaint, with gray instead of silver, especially if these end up being UXF versions of Psylocke and Fantomex. He'd complete the original UXF line-up, and leave only Nightcrawler to finish up every iteration of that team, plus he'd fit into the X-Force team that preceeded that, along with X-23. Lots of holes there, though. Still need Wolfsbane, Elixir, Vanisher, and arguably Warpath.

For anyone who needs them, four of the seven Crimson Dynamo wave figures are back up for retail on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Marvel+Le...f=nb_sb_noss_2

It is Kitty's head with Lady DP's ponytail. The body is Psylocke, upper arms are Disco Dazzler and the lower arms are Songbird, I'm going to use White Rabbit's legs and the feet from the new (She)Hulk. I sculpted her ears and I'll probably sculpt the ankle wings too

They re-released Tiger Stripe Wolvie from the Apocalypse wave already in the Jean Grey 3 pack... my bet is they will do the same for Psylocke. It will just be a blue repaint of the Apocalypse BAF version... with alternate headsculpts.

How is a huge figure like Nimrod part of a 3-pack? From the pics I saw at Toy Fair he looked at least BAF size.

My guess for Psylocke would be an updated X-Force figure from the SDCC set or her Marvel Now look. A lot of characters with specific costumes show up on Contest of Champions and the Marvel Now look is close to what she has in the game.

I play a lot of Fornite with my little brother, and in all honesty the new Psylocke skin is beautifully done.
