Did they ever announce which figure won the fan poll? I know the original plan was to announce it during SDCC but clearly things have changed.

Not yet, if they're planning a second live stream later in the month it'll probably be announced then

I really want to try this Psylocke with the Captain Marvel jacket mod: https://thefwoosh.com/forum/viewtopi...08270#p3408252

So all I need to do is boil the Psylocke fig until the arms pop out... is that it? I don't mind destroying the Captain Marvel figure to get the arms and jacket... but don't really want to mess up Psylocke in case I chicken out.

You don't need to destroy anything.
1. Take the vest part off Captain Marvel
2. Remove both figure's heads
3. Heat both upper torsos with hot water or a hair dryer
4. Pop off arms
5. Put vest on Psylocke
6. Pop in jacket arms

All totally reversible.
