The possibilities... a new Cyclops with an optic beam (Byrne or Lee re-release would be welcome), Jubilee with some effects pieces, questionably necessary Wolverine variant, Rogue with a better head-sculpt, classic Beast, and maybe re-releases of figures like Dark Phoenix or Stryfe that are practically impossible to find on the secondary market. I also suspect it might not strictly function as a "best of" wave, and could include some new figures. Namely an animated series-styled Morph, based on how coy they are when asked about him in interviews. That would also be an ideal place to finally see Banshee. Or Avalanche to go with the new Pyro. Although, Silver Samurai indicates it might be best to keep to A-listers for waves sans-BAF.

I'll certainly have a great day if I can get that damned Storm, hope you have a great one too.

The pictures aren't great, but I don't think I like the Selene head.

I don't think I do either, but I'm hoping it'll look better in person. I'd like some promotional pictures of how it looks on the Black Queen body.

I get what you're saying. It kind of does feel like an afterthought. But that's okay. I recognize the important of Black Queen Jean Grey to the original Hellfire Club portion of the the Dark Phoenix Saga. Selene wasn't even a member then, so to me it's okay she's an afterthought or an easter egg as they said.

And I'm saying this as someone who "needed" a Selene figure. Even if it's an alternate headsculpt, to me it's official. And given the risque-ness of the Hellfire Club, and the fact she's not an A-list villain or hugely requested, it's the best we could expect, and I'm grateful for it.

Selene is one of the big X-Men villains to me, so I don't like that she is an afterthought. I Was expecting the four+1 characters that we got, but I thought Selene would be the main figure and the Goblin Queen would be the bonus head. I'm not too bummed because I can stick with my custom Selene and use keep the Goblin Queen. I just was hoping for a better head than the one I made. It doesn't matter though, I was 100% in on this set as soon as they revealed the foot.

I'm grateful for Selene too. And while Jean's look is important, I would want a Mastermind to go with her. Because of that, I may use the Selene head on that body.

Yeah, after scouring the images after the reveal, the Selene head is definitely bothering me. Hopefully its just the odd perception/bad photos. We really do need a nice close-up of the sculpt.

I'm happy to have Selene, and I can't even pin why I dislike the head-sculpt. It's just sorta.. off. I do feel like Black Queen Jean Grey is less cool without Jason Wyngarde. Especially because I was looking forward to recreating the X-Men 134# cover (I think it's Leland, not Pierce, but I can fudge that).

Oh to me she is one of the most underused villains in not just X-Men comics but all of Marvel. She should be at least a Sinister or Apocalypse level threat. She's probably my favorite X-villain.

Goblin Queen would be nice, but you might be able to stick one of the extra jean heads on the body to make it work, unless you mean use the one they are giving us in this set, which would work too, I guess. If the custom Selene works for you, that's awesome though.

As much as I'd like to have seen Mastermind in his Jason Wyngarde look given his was more central to the DPS, I understand that over all since that, Pierce has been a much more prominent villain (and alive for most of that time, too!) I was hoping for the four we got and Mastermind though to be honest, but as long as we got Shaw, Emma and can have a headswapped Selene, I'm happy. And I'll be using that figure as Selene, no question.

Okay, so I saved an image and blew it up to twice as large. I do agree, it's not the greatest, but it'll have to be what it is. One of the main thing I've always associated with her face is how angular it is. This is a bit more round, looks a bit like Kelly Osborne if she had long black hair. And the purple shading is a weird choice. I wonder how much of use of Shiklah's headsculpt they used in this? At any rate, the purple shading they could probably do away with, if they chose to, but the sculpting is what likely what we're stuck with. I'd rather have it as is than not at all.

Emma looks like she's wearing way too much blue eyeshadow, hopefully it's just the prototype

The new Rogue accessory speaks to the theory of her being one of the upcoming uses of the Moonstone Body, I'm a bit surprised we didn't see the Legacy Rogue and Pyro two pack today.

Do we know when the Hasbro SDCC at home stream is happening?

So, the Stilt-Man wave. Almost certainly a Spider-Man wave, but, wouldn't it be awesome if it was a Marvel Knights wave? Something like:

- New classic Daredevil (maybe on the new Spider-Man mold? Alternate "sonar" head with the concentric circles coming off it would be cool).
- Power-Man (long over-due for a redo. Maybe a classic Iron Fist to go with him in the Shang-Chi wave).
- Colleen Wing (really simple re-use of the Target Black Widow, as evidenced from the quantity of kit-bashes I've seen).
- Lady Bullseye (much like FA Storm, we saw the proto for this an eternity ago, and she never saw the light of day).
- Gladiator (classic villain with a long history, and not many new parts).
- Leap-Frog/ Frog-Man (to go with the White Rabbit we got).
- Hand Ninja (with the stilt-extension pieces, so that for those trying to make a giant-ass Stilt-Man don't end up with duplicates of a figure where one would suffice).

Although, more likely than not, Spidey wave. In which case, hoping for one to three of the following: Man-Wolf, Molten Man, Mister Negative, the Spot, Carrion, Shriek, and Swarm. Throw in a couple more Spidey variants, maybe still Daredevil or Power-Man.

The degloving Rogue piece could simply a bonus piece in the Rogue & Pyro set to be used with the previous figure.

Marvel Knights would be cool I think I've like to see a female Tarantula, Hector Ayala White Tiger and maybe an update to the Misty Knight figure

I'm hoping the Shriek and Carrion are part of the upcoming Venom wave, and it's not a whole wave of venomized heroes.

They could do that, but reissuing the Juggernaut wave Rogue with a new deco in a best of wave wouldn't hurt anyone but the eBay scalpers

Taking a closer look at Emma and Jean in the Hellfire set, it looks like they 86'd the diaphragm joint

It was included with the Juggernaut wave Rogue as an accessory.

I haven't been keeping up with all the comments and I didn't watch the livestream. Is this a hypothetical or is there actual talk of a Stilt Man? Because I would definitely be in. I also think all your picks for figure slots are perfect. Especially Frog-Man.

At the end of the stream, they showed what absolutely looked like a stilt. Which would also (cheekily) line up with their mentions of the "biggest BAF ever." I'd really like for Marvel Knights to get more attention in the line.

It's a brand new never before released accessory actually, the Marvel Select Rogue came with a similar one

Dwight snapped together two stilt pieces at the end. It'll be interesting to see how they're going to release it

I'm of two minds on that. As much as I'd like to see Shriek and Carrion in the Venom wave, I wouldn't mind the wave being just Venomized heroes, as I can then skip it entirely. There are four "open" slots plus a BAF in that wave. If they aren't all venom-ized, maybe Shriek, Carrion, Phage or Agony, and Sleepwalker, with Riot or Knull as a BAF?

The Rogue glove they showed wasn't included in the 2016 Rogue release. This was a yellow hand holding another yellow glove. Another angle to consider with it, though, is that Rogue is currently wearing that costume again, so she could be part of the House of X wave.

I know! I keep saying it to myself... "the new Stilt-Man wave." It doesn't sound right!

You are absolutely right! I was totally confusing it with the Marvel Select Rogue! D'oh! Also, on googling the Juggernaut wave Rogue, boy, do I hope that we get a new head on that re-release.

I love Stilt Man. I'm so happy. I made a custom that I will happily retire for an official one.
