Jesus, I forgot I had even ordered the Hellfire Club. Checking on Pulse, they’re saying the 29th of this month. It’s frustrating because if I had placed separate orders for the two items I bought (Hellfire Club & Vintage Collection Clones), I’d have gotten both of them back in October, based on how they fulfilled order. I really wish they had given a heads-up on the order page!

That's not how it worked. They sold through their available stock, and when it ran out they changed the page to a clearly labelled preorder for March, so they could print the rest to-order. The entire first print-run of the Hellfire Club sold out on day zero to Premium members. If you ordered before they ran out, you got them back in September/October. If not, you're waiting until the next print-run. I know this because I placed a variety of orders that weekend, and I watched all the items slowly switch over to preorders as they began to sell through. I got all the items that I had pounced on, that had been listed as in-stock, in about a week, over a period of a few days. I'm still waiting for most of the stuff I waited and thought about, all of which was listed as preorders by the time I ordered it. I even placed an order that contained both a preorder and an in-stock item, and they split the order, so that I got the in-stock item quickly and am still waiting for the preorder. I know people are bummed they had to wait, but this is the first year they've even entertained the idea of a second run of SDCC promos, and sending a product back to print takes about six months. If you're waiting on a Hellfire Club, you actually just missed them, and are only getting anything at all because Hasbro saw money sitting on the table and decided to print one for you. I'm not sure why people are so salty about that.

12” Daredevil just went back in stock on Hasbro Pulse. I know he got pretty expensive recently.

If I'm correct, it's a custom from an ebay seller under the user name ibmmt. I'm not sure if they're on any other forms of social media (as I don't do Twitter, Instagram, etc) They haven't posted one for sale in a while (they've been doing a lot of G.I.Joe Classified heads as of late,) but perhaps they could commission one for you if you send them a message. I'm pretty sure I have the same head myself, and I can definitely vouch for their work.

The 12" line always felt like wasted potential since they just did normal characters and not anyone that could've been used as a large character for the 6" figures, like Giant Man or classic Sentinels. I like a number of the 12" figures on their own but it was quickly apparent in stores that people were not interested in them.

^ Even when I saw the 12" Legends at ROSS for cheap I never bit... just not enough space for that size. The headsculpts on those bigger figs always looked amazing though. And I always wondered why Marvel Select never took the same approach as your suggestion... just do the bigger characters that would kinda fit in with Legends like Blob.

Thanks. As was mentioned the painted Beast head was from ebay seller ibmmt. I’m not sure if he makes them anymore.

You know I saw this on eBay before you shared your nab with the thread all those moons ago deciding it was worth a grab only after you posted pictures. However, I waited too long and they were all gone by the time I'd made my mind up. A few weeks down the line, other casting customizers offered neat heads and I grabbed 2-3 of them. One of which being a very cool George Perez style Beast with a toothy grin that's leagues ahead of the noggin used for the retro gray Beast. Another was a corrected repaint of the standard with pupils added. But I still wish I had acted on this one when you posted this and may reach out to ibmmt.
Did you have to paint yours? That's one of the drawbacks of a couple of the casts I received. Usually, the only time I commit to painting a headsculpt is when I don't have to paint small details like that. Otherwise, I look for something ready to go, even if it costs me a little bit extra. It might be pricey at the time, but the lack of stress and agony that is faced with doing it yourself makes it worth the money spent. |

Thankfully, this Beast head was already prepainted by the customizer. Thank goodness too, with my unsteady hands and impatient demeanor, there's no way I would have been able to paint those smaller details like the eyes.

As for the unpainted casts I have, at this point, I'd be happy to ship them to someone willing to accept payment for applying the apps... Quote:

I could easily see Spiderman being remade into Giant Man and Iron Man being remade into a Sentinel. Although, the Sentinel is unlikely due to the HasLab version coming. |

I doubt they would every be made into BAFs but I could see some of the 12" Legends being remade into figures that work with the 6" line. They would just need new heads and a new deco.
I could easily see Spiderman being remade into Giant Man and Iron Man being remade into a Sentinel. Although, the Sentinel is unlikely due to the HasLab version coming. The captioned sentiment is that the outfit decisions they've made for many of the 12" figs (laced combat boots, textured details like chainmail/armor, and seamed clothing) rule out almost any repurposing. Honestly, I wouldn't even want that Spider-Man reused as a Giant-Man as the body is too lithe. The overall point I'm making is that this line was a wasted opportunity and there were calls from the onset for Hasbro to use it for some of the giants of Marvel's pantheon. One has to wonder had they gone with a Stranger, Atlas, or even Micromax for use with the 6" scale could they have anchored the line. Doubtful given that a couple of Spider Men, a pair of Deadpools and dual Thors didn't do the trick. However, considering that a few collectors were vocal about scepticism regarding the line's longevity, Hasbro could have thrown a couple of bones our way as some more fan-service... I'd buy Stranger in a heartbeat. Edit: There were three Deadpools (lulz that was a good idea.. /s) and one of those Thors was an Icons... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 03-22-2021 at 10:32 AM.. |

^ Shockingly the Agent of Weapon X Deadpool never got released as a 6" scale Legends... always liked how that one looked.

Don't worry. There's plenty more Deadpools coming.

Some people are speculating that it's Fortnite due to the emphasis on "epic".

Hm, I didn’t get that email. But thank you for posting it! Wasn’t there a rumored Legends/Fortnite crossover wave or something?

I got the email but not interested. The biggest dream want I had for exclusive "convention" set came out last year. the only other sets I would want would either be a folly to have an exclusive (Excalibur set) or that I don't see happening anyway even as a "con" or replacement event exclusive (Acolytes set).
Single figures, if it's something I really really want and can't get it through a normal pulse account I"ll just get it through a third party seller. |

I let my Pulse premium membership expire and I got that email.
I also think that "epic" is a hint towards Fortnite stuff. The only one I am interested in is Domino, but I feel like she has low odds of being made. Hopefully I'm wrong. |
