well youre not the only one who knows Frogman from old Spider-Man comics.
I know more about Frogman than I do of some obscure character called Shiklah thats from the X-Factor X-Force STrong Guy wave. I still dunno who the hell Shiklah is since I dont know what comic book series she's from anyway |

Also, people might want to invest some time in figuring out eBay. If you're willing to purchase loose, most things can be nabbed for very reasonable prices. With the more obscure characters, the price is normally less than retail. That's usually how I grab extras... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 06-10-2021 at 04:32 PM.. |

[QUOTE=Boogieman4hire;872108]Scourge the D-list villain killing dirtbag. RIP to the patrons of the Bar With No Name[QUOTE]
Oh man, I would love a classic Scourge! Particularly if they started to sprinkle his victims into waves, and maybe offered an SDCC “Bar With No Name” boxset containing some of the more obscure ones. |

Lol I could probably get it now for that. I'm not dissing it either. If you notice, most of the pictures I've taken are of the unwanted and seldom celebrated figs. They're often my faves. I'm just not a particular fan of Frogman...

@TheBlueMarvel - Ah, thanks for the explanation as to what we were disagreeing about. Like I said, I was agreeing with your comments to begin with. And I have no problem agreeing to disagree. We CAN agree to disagree. I'm more than happy to do that. It's something that some users on message boards should do more often, though thankfully here I haven't had that problem yet. I realize it's disappointing that some fans want to see a Spider-Man wave include (X) character and it's a repeat of (Y) character in a different costume or time period instead. Does it stink? Of course. I'm one of the few people alive who probably would buy multiples of lesser-known villains and/or civilian figures from Spider-Man's comics like the Tinkerer, the Spot, the Rose, Eugene "Flash" Thompson, Eddie Brock, Cletus Kasady, Joe "Robbie" Robertson, Aunt May Parker and the rumored-upcoming Uncle Ben because I really, REALLY want to add them to my collection. I also know that fans are disappointed that we're getting other versions or re-releases of characters that have been done before as figures, but as someone who grew up with the Toy Biz Marvel figures of the '90s, seeing multiple versions of characters like Doc Ock, Venom and Hobgoblin weren't uncommon, were released every two or so years anyway, and I actually miss those types of releases very much. Also, a lot of modern collectors don't even remember how long it actually took for us to get figures of, say, Sandman and Electro to begin with: the 1998 "Flip N Trap" Sandman figure and the 1996/1997 "Electro-Spark" Electro figure (not counting the '80s European figure release for "Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars"), and those are villains that have been around since 1963 and 1964, respectively. If I see more than one version of Sandman or Electro made into figures, it makes me smile. (Unless it's the blue-and-white "Chapter One" suit of Electro -- I have to draw the line somewhere, you know.
![]() Also, I agree with Boogieman4hire: Scourge would make a GREAT Marvel Legends figure. Since the Hasbro team read our comments and wish-lists, I hope the Hasbro teams are taking notes. The Brothers Grimm would be cool too. And so would -- eh, you get the idea. Thanks for reading my two cents (which are two cents more than my opinions are actually worth). I hope you all are having a great night and stay safe, everyone. 'Nuff said! Last edited by StuartGreen2019; 06-10-2021 at 06:22 PM.. |

Don't worry man. I don't 100% adhere to every rando either. I don't know why but I still don't like Rock Python. I'm glad to expand the Serpent Society but even now I think my $4 would be spent better on a chicken sandwich. And I did somewhat notice. I don't think I've seen any other glamour shots of Ex Nihilo.
I also like Rock Python by the by, the colors work and they strangely put effort into his execution. So funny. So Hasbro. @Stuart Lol well, it's good to know there is a line! ![]() Jokes aside, there are plenty of alternative looks that I'd selfishly want. "Selfish" because I'd be one of only a handful of people that would pump their fist at their creation. The Keeper Silver Surfer, with the quantum bands and red body sash would be a dream come true. And Di Vito's redesign for Beta Ray following the Stormbreaker Saga, another dream become manifest and the look I think he should be sporting currently. |

I confess I've never quite understood the preoccupation the community has with the A-List/B-List/C-List "Nobody asked for this!" mentality. The line has gone on long enough that those sorts of deep cuts constitute a sizable chunk of the line-up.

Not to mention some of these are just straight up fun whether you do or don't like/know the character. Mainly because of how colorful they can all be. Also a great to introduce people to these characters if they don't know them. I feel like more people now than ever know who Xemnu is because of the Build a Figure. It's great. Buying the Spider-Gwen figure is what prompted me to read her series and now I cherish having it.

Two Obscure characters I'd love to see are Gladiator from DAREDEVIL and Skurge the Executioner.

I don't know if we've seen how big the classic Hercules will be yet, but he could potentially help contribute to a Skurge figure if he introduces a new large body type.

Skurge is long over due, but he feels like he'd require a unique sculpt. The MCU Executioner was/is impressive and I'd like to see a similar approach regarding level of detail.
Melvin-Gladiator would be cool and another semi-obscure (or maybe forgotten) Daredevil enemy I'd like to see is Bullet. I'd like a JRJR approximation of Bullet and I'd also prefer that his proportions be similar to that of the Kingpin. |

Heck yes to Skurge! I made a custom many years ago who I am still proud of, but I would love an official one. The one I made was a repaint the All Father wave Thor figure (with a WWE Big Show head). That mold doesn't have the best joints to it.
I would also really like some classic Masters of Evil. I remember reading Toy Fair magazine years ago where they suggested that Toy Biz should have made a series of 2 packs where you have a Master and their Thunderbolts counterpart. We have a decent number of T-Bolts now (although I'd like to finish the original line up), but I would still like to see some of their Masters identities. |

Dunno about the rest of you folks but I dont think Hasbro is quite done yet with Age of Apocalypse figures for Marvel Legends. For now we know of thee upcoming figures
Iceman Shadowcat Legion Colossus as build a figure Cyclops Magneto Rogue Sabretooth then hopefully later this year around December or January they might release news for the next figures theyre making or made for whatever Toy Fair is going on for next year Age of Apocalypse Wave 3 Holocaust build a figure probably Abyss Gambit Havok Bishop- he was involved with the whole since the start when he and Psylocke time traveled to stop Legion from killing Magneto |

Been a long long time since I read the solo comics of Age of Apocalypse like Astonishing X-Men and Weapon X and Gambit XTernals.
there any other important mutant that was important? There was Shadow King but he was in a glass jar the whole time |

Agreed. And Avalanche. We've got Pyro and Mystique, we need the remaining three.
