No, I’m in the same boat. Very light year for me, and I’m more disappointed than relieved. Every new reveal is so underwhelming. I don’t think they’ve shown off anything I want in months.

Damn and it's a shame knowing Elsa is probably not going to see a rerelease outside of that A-force set. I agree it's stupid as hell that this is getting made when there could've been better things, but damn it I like it. This registers to me a whole more than that Miami Vice Deadpool Hit Monkey set from a few years ago. Some may say only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with this set

Mine too. Between my normal 80's Joe collecting rapidly surpassing my personal price ceiling, not being able to find new product easily, and not loving much of what is coming out, I'm saving a ton.

Regarding Elvis MODOK, I guess event exclusives are the best venue for this kind of novelty. I'm sure the source comics are entertaining, but the fact that he only appears in one panel just has me SMH that this reveal was given any sort of build-up at all.

Looking ahead, now I'm even more curious about when/how/where the supposed Excalibur set will be released. Before today, Pulse-Con would have been my guess.

The facial features on the figures are legitimately excellent. It’s really stark compared to figures from even three or five years ago.

I guess the MODOK is also nice if you have the other and you'd prefer the gold and blue color scheme to swap bits between both. But if I get this set I think I'll keep this one with his blue suede shoes. I don't think I'll have too hard a time securing this given the mostly bleh reception. Seems mostly everyone would rather return to sender.
