That's interesting and entertaining for those that like Easter egg hunts and sleuthing out hints. For the segment of the community that enjoys that, Ryan and the rest of the 'Big Three' are keeping things lively. For me, however, I've only ever been invested in the delivery.

If Ryan truly wants a cosplay of Galactus, I suggest he reach out to Shaq or the Big Show (who just got into amazing shape - why do I even know this?) because only they have the physique (both height and girth) to portray a fully powered 1/12 Galactus.

LEZ' GO, HASBRO!

Give me Nova, Firelord, Air-Walker, Red-Shift, Morg, and Stardust...and a Fallen One head I can throw on the Fallen One Surfer body and I'll be beside myself with utter joy.

Add Tyrant, Alpha Ray, and the Destroyer down the line as deluxe offerings...maybe throw in a Ravenous and Strontian/Xenith and I may just join the defense force as a faithful adoring acolyte...maybe.

I saw that "Dwight teased troop building possibilities with the unlockables."

That's just stupid. Who wants to buy multiple $400 Galactus figures so they can troop build an accessory figure?

I'm getting really tired of this "FOMO" and "prepare your wallets" marketing from Hasbro.

My wife is telling me to just do it, but I don't know, $400 is a bit steeper than I was anticipating. Though, I guess since I'm not going to come across a PS5 anytime this year in stores maybe I should...

He looks great, but something looks off. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Wow, Galactus looks really nice as expected. Really glad for those who want him. Unlike the Sentinel there's not even an inkling or tickle of "maybe" for me on this one, so I'll just enjoy everyone's photos when they get him next year.

Speaking of which, has there been any update on the Sentinel shipping? I think it was late summer early fall but may be misremembered. I don't think I've seen any update but my brain has been overloaded/overstressed/tired the last couple of months.

This whole presentation just seemed… smug. I disliked how much pressure they were putting on people to buy the figure, between Dwight mocking people who are satisfied with the previous releases, and Dan “challenging” everyone to get this fully funded in under a day. I dislike the extent to which they are downplaying the cost. Like, guys, this is a $400 item, it’s not a trivial amount of money.

Not super excited for Galactus. I'm down for one, but I'm definitely going to need to see some of those additional tiers unlocked.

Looking at him more carefully, I really wish they had gone with the classic, Kirby or Byrne-inspired, design. The helmet particularly is too elaborate and modern for my tastes.

Obviously that is my solution.
I'm still a fan and they have stuff coming out that I am buying, but I can still dislike how they are doing their marketing. I'm buying less because the "prepare your wallet" stuff makes me actually look at my wallet. I'm not always interested in selling my old figures to be able to afford new figures.

I'm surprised you didn't come in here with a "who is this Galaxycus guy, never heard of him and I'm too lazy to use google" comment.

Todays Haslab Galactus presentation started to come across like the Star Wars guy yesterday who slipped up and said Haslab Rancor. That guy just kept talking like he was speaking to shareholders instead of at least trying to act genuine considering he was talking to fan sites. Calling people "consumers" , offering "compelling products", etc.

Obviously Hasbro just wants our money and we want a physical representation of things we like. But the Legends team at least comes across as fans too most of the time. But today they really played hard on the haha you have to give us your money.

It's a huge jump in backers for the minimum target and Galactus doesn't lend himself for people to army build like the Sentinel. Granted, he's an awesome cosmic character but I have to think the majority of people are not gonna want multiples and if the minimum target is 14000 I have to wonder what the next levels will be for the extras. The Sentinels minimum was 6000 and the last level was 16000, almost triple its minimum. And that was when he was flying off the virtual shelf. I hope Galactus doesn't need such a drastic jump.

The only thing I'd like to know is, can he sit down?

Last I heard their stock was on its way to their warehouse from China with the intention to start the shipping process early August.

Dwight wasn't mocking people, he was making a joke. Same with Dan. They're having fun. You were supposed to be laughing, which is what I did. People need to take a step back from being overly serious all of the time these days and remember to laugh a little. It's okay to not be offended by every little thing.

While that would have been cool, the head is not different than the one on the version I currently have, so I'm fine with it.

First, I love how you just had to make some sort of insult just for the sake of it. Secondly, I'm pretty sure I've told you before what comics I read. Third, I'm also pretty sure it is impossible to know every single thing about every single character due to the number of characters, comics, univerese, etc, there are.

For example, I have never encountered the TVA in any of the comics I have read, so I had no knowledge of them when I watched Loki. They seemed like the Marvel equivalent to both the Monitors and Time Bureau of DC.

Finally, if I wanted to use Google, I wouldn't bother talking to actual people on a message board. I come to message boards and social media to interact with real people. If I wanted a bot to explain it to me, I wouldn't bother with real people.

I can see Galactus being bought in duplicate or even triplicate by a fair amount of fans, given the alternate heads, people wanting multiples for investment or to display in and out of the box, and the fact that there's loads of toy collectors out there who aren't on the forums and only post an occasional giant collection picture on Instagram or 4Chan Personally I think a great stretch goal would be an unhelmeted Franklin Richards head from Earth X!

Thank you for that information, it's really appreciated! I probably overlooked it, amid all of the endless Hasbro Pulse hype emails I get.

Yeah, £400 is way too steep for me, especially with Haslab Star Saber coming in August.

Don’t forget about resellers who are going to buy multiples, and rip the people who sleep on these. I already see local comic shops posting about getting these in next year.

3875 in 4 hours isn’t bad. Remember, there will be a little extra money flowing through the economy starting in July for some families…if they need it or not.

This Galactus looks great but I think he's just too damn big for my wants. I mean he should be big but for practical display purposes at almost 3' tall he's going to eat up a lot of space (pun intended). I like that they're including a Galactus Engine face but it seems wrong to use it since the head and spinal column aren't removable pieces and the Galactus Engine's antlers were turned down not up.

I'm very amazed by this Galactus. I always did actually think to myself that 32 inches would be perfect but it's a lot different when I actually realize just how big that is. I don't even know if I can afford him but he is really incredible. Galactus is like the Soul stone for me. I'm going to have to have to sacrifice one of my more valuable collection pieces to get him.

I also think the Galactus engine face is kind of weird. I guess people could also just pretend that's a zombie Galactus.

I concur, particularly the head looks way too busy. Honestly, I think it looks tacky—like someone Bedazzled that shit.
