There is some dovetailing with your screed to me and the theme of other posts in the short time you've been here:
Quote:
I honestly don't understand the hard-on you all have for Firestar. Is it simply to complete the Spidey/Iceman/Firestar trio from that cartoon from 1981? That was 30 years ago. She hasn't been in any comic books for like 20 years and hasn't been in any movies either. She's a D-list character at best.
Quote:
Still a D-list character at best. This isn't a competition of nerd-knowledge. Firestar is a shitty character and always has been and always will be until some writer decides to make her great. Until that day I can think of plenty other characters that will be better and actually sell in the Marvel Legends line.
Quote:
"Marvel Legends are mainly marketed to collectors" LOL Yeah, because that's why they are sold in Walmart and Target. The opinions of TheFwoosh and MarevlousNews are nobodies and you know it. If they mattered would we be getting SPYMASTER in the Black Widow wave? God, internet nerds thinking that they have more clout than they really do.

Congrats to you on taking the time on my previous posts. Clearly you have plenty of time on your hands to research internet posting instead of doing something constructive with your life but I digress. Do you feel better? Do you think you won some message board debate? Here's a hint, the more effort and the more paragraphs you post on here just show how sad you are. Get offline. Go outside. It's okay. We're all just ultimately collecting toys. |

No offense, but fuck off.
Assholes like you are the worst part of "collecting" in this day and age. The all too high expectations for a product that is not aimed at what you want. Why should a company cater to some sad old geek that wants some obscure product that won't make them a a profit? Your "His cape is the wrong color!" mentality. Your "I've been a fan before you born!" mentality. Your "Well, I'm smarter than the average fan!" mentality. The best thing about all this, and I mean the absolute BEST thing about all this is when they finally release a "Blue Marvel" action figure... You're going to be on here bitching and moaning about how his hair is the wrong color, or about how his boots are wrong, or how he is not in the costume that you wanted, or about whatever goddamn imperfection you find that is not up to your lofty bullshit standards. So you know what? FUCK YOU. There's your "I struck a nerve" for you, you fucking asshole. Grow up and fuck off.

I always find it funny when the guy on the toy forum starts insulting people for being on the toy forum.

Do you remember if you saw Sprite? She’s the only one I’ve noticed hasn’t popped up SOMEWHERE and she’s the one with the BAF body. Between Walmart and target I should be able to put together the team but I might have to go to GameStop for Sprite.

So is my assumption generally agreed that shipping for the Spider-Man, AOA, What If and F4 Vintage waves may be spotty for the next few months, but that Eternals shouldn't be affected because they most likely were already at Hasbro's distribution center for quite some time?

Well, whatever the schedule, the Sandman cometh.
Which is interesting given that I seem to remember its announcement coming following some of the items it's beating to market. |

Shang Chi and the first Disney+ wave seemed to hit TN pretty quickly this past Spring. And IIRC, the first two D+ shows were supposed to be released last year while Shang Chi was supposed to be released early 2021. |

I feel like Hasbro took the release date scheduled, threw it in the air and let an intern assign the new dates. Nothing makes sense! Haha.

Just got around to opening up MCU Sersi and she looks fantastic. Really excited to see how her character is explored in Eternals.

I got a notice from BBTS that my Sandman has come instock. I would have him ship now, but apparently they are finally getting the NECA Goliath instock, so I might as well the extra day or two.

![]() ![]() ![]() The Legends portion of my birthday haul. I initially had little interest in picking up the mark III but after getting Iron Monger earlier in the month I figured I might as well also nab the corresponding Iron Man. This figure looks pretty great overall, the sculpt is reasonably well detailed and the paint is mostly clean. The red is too light a shade to be screen accurate but personally I like it this way as it sort of lends the figure a more catch-all vibe. I think the open helmet head looks quite better in hand than it does online but I've already got Endgame Tony displayed using his wonderful RDJ portrait so this one's going helmeted. I will complain that switching the heads was weirdly difficult for a Hasbro figure and I couldn't get the closed helmet head to properly pop on without heating it up first. The tank missile arm piece is a nice inclusion but I find the improvised shield from the final battle pointless since this figure otherwise doesn't match that scene. The repulsor hands having painted repulsors is novel but it comes at the cost of actually having the full effect to plug in (then again this effect has been standard with just about every Iron Man so it's not exactly missed). Overall I'm glad to have this figure. Got the Happy and Midas set at reduced price mainly for Jon Favreau the action figure. Midas is an alright armor since it's a shout-out to the comics what with his suit from the Avengers being solid gold, and this figure is alright since it's a repaint of the really nice figure from the first 10 years subline in varied shades of gold with some details in metallic grey or such. Still it would've been cooler to get an actual new armor like the MCU Silver Centurion, Heartbreaker, or maybe change the pack to Iron Man 2 from 3 and give us the suitcase armor with the suitcase as an accessory. Hasbro gonna do as they do, and easy repaints are to be expected. The real draw of the set though is Happy, looking pretty grumpy, on a new suited body. The likeness is good and the paint apps are clean, albeit very minimal, but I will complain that I am worried they made the cellphone accessory too thin and overall small. He holds it fine and I appreciate that it has painted details but I'm pretty sure if he drops this thing even once it'll be gone forever. An alternate head would obviously have been appreciated but since Happy has been real high up on my MCU wants for a good long while I'm glad to finally get him. Endgame final battle Thor is just cool. I like the powered up paint scheme for his eyes and the way they cast Stormbreaker in translucent blue and then brushed over areas in silver is a great effect. Sadly then I think Mjolnir is just silly in comparison since they similarly cast it in translucent blue but instead of the cool silver brushes approach they just drew on cartoon lightning bolts in silver. Other than that though it's a great figure and I like having the trinity from Endgame to face off against Thanos.

Not yet, I'll get to it tomorrow (or later today technically). If it works I'll share a pic but otherwise I'll report the failure.

Ha! Either that, or the same intern, jonesing for this Sandman, bumped the release date up on the sly. And, yeah, the schedule does feel haphazard with some of the stuff that's materializing ahead of posted dates. I feel bad for those still waiting and wanting both Nova and Quasar, while What If (I've had my Obama-Watcher BAF for weeks now - the resemblance is hilarious) and Armadillo waves are finding their way into retail circulation. I already have both Quasar and 2 Novas, but I was hoping to also pick up a second Quasar to remove the quantum bands and make a soft-mod Keeper/Silver Surfer.
