I get why the holes are there, but I'm a little surprised that Hasbro didn't include little filler pieces for people who might want to display a regular shield. I have a ton of extra ones from old Caps, so I guess I can use one of them. It still feels a little odd. Not a deal breaker, but not my favorite aspect.

Magnetizing the shield would have been a great idea! Or have the blast effects be able to wrap around the rim of the shield. Granted, the single bullet effects wouldn't work that way. I suppose there's not perfect solution. I'm glad they aren't using the throwing effect bit. I feel like there was no good way to use that.
Perhaps a plastic shield but with a swappable middle ring, one with and one without pegholes?

Really?!?! Damn, I better make sure mine can't mess anything up!

A silly nitpick? Really? Holes in the shield look TERRIBLE. The biggest kick is a lot of us have wanted a new comic style Cap shield for years. So they give us one. With holes? Dumb.

The comparison of shield holes vs articulation cuts doesn't work. We understand the need for those cuts in order to have articulation. Big holes in Captain America's shield is just stupid. I for one do not want to have effect parts constantly attached to the shield. Especially in a neutral/heroic pose. It would look idiotic.

Instead of that cardboard background & figure stand, they shoulda included a non BD shield. Guess that made too much sense.

Given the price they could keep those elements AND still throw in a solid shield.

Hasbro sent out an email saying my multi Sentinel orders are delayed due to covid. Anyone else joining me?

Luckily I put in a few orders and one single Sentinel order arrived about 2 weeks ago just fine. I would presume Hasbro really did fulfill single orders first. I just find the covid related delay wording interesting.

Not to downplay it, covid is obviously affecting things but it just seems like a convenient reason for anything nowadays. Then again I don't think some people would accept the "we have a lot of orders and it's taking a while to pack and ship" honesty.

EDIT: Pulse actually has a new header on the site apologizing for delayed shipping due to covid. So maybe their warehouse employees are out.

Got the same message.

At least they are providing a heads up. Although, they had to know sooner than 'today' that the orders were going to be late. I knew as much as the customer.

I'd rather them be safe and consider the safety of their employees than otherwise and I'm okay with waiting as I've already waited a year. What's a few more weeks/months.

EDIT:...note to self: support Haslabs in single orders moving forward, if you want faster delivery.

Not thrilled that they have delayed my Sentinels when others have received them a month ago. What's the freaking hold up?

Do they need me to send them a personal invitation that I'm waiting for them?

COVID is hitting warehouse workers hard, supposedly. I work in retail, so we see supply chain disruptions regularly. It just seems odd that the delay is contained to multiple unit orders, from what I can tell. I’m assuming they’re trying to find a more cost efficient way to eat the shipping cost on these larger orders. I still don’t feel right about them sitting on more that $1,000 of my money. What can you really do though?

I could see this being a thing and, if true, it would also represent something I'd have a considerable problem with given that I also dropped a G in good faith. At the time, that was the most I'd ever spent on a crowdfund (until Galactus). All without even touching the lack of ethics such a lie (covid as a useful excuse) would represent. Let's hope what you suggest isn't what's happening behind the scenes.

Wait, so it's only the orders that had multiple figures? What kind of bullshit is that?

^Not only have we been discussing it in today's most recent chain of conversation, but I mentioned my suspicions weeks ago. Multiple people on the thread, who have orders for more more than one Sentinel, have all copped to not receiving fulfillment. There have been at least four testimonies, with you adding you own experience in response to communications relating to exactly the revelation you are now making.

Where you been, dude? Lol This ain't new, we've been yapping about this for a hot second...

If anyone needs him, I saw that Retro Mr. Fantastic is back in stock on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Classi.../dp/B08P3WSLLQ

P.S. I need some advice. What's the best kind of figure stand that can work with figures like Marvel Legends, McFarlane DC, Lightning Collection, etc.? I'm trying to find a compatible stand and the $16 for three stands or whatever that Hasbro Pulse is selling isn't enough.

Are you looking for flight stands or just a general 'keep my figures standing upright' figure stand?

Obitsu stands, if you just opt to use the shortest length they basically just become customizable clear doll stands.

I didn't know this was a thing because one dude on a Facebook group last week posted his 3 Sentinels.

All I know is that this is getting friggin ridiculous. It's not just the Sentinels, but Shout! Factory released the first 5 Halloween movies in 4K today and they have yet to mail out the preorder I made from them the day they went up in June. I saw them at freaking Best Buy today. That is completely unacceptable.

Back to the Sentinels, just ship them out individually if they can't figure out how to ship them in one lot.

Well this is depressing. I was going to recommend Kaiser dolls stands but after checking Amazon and eBay, they've doubled in price since I last purchased them. So I'm also in the search of new figure stands.

@Stuart
If you need a stand that is rock solid and can hold some weight, spend the money on a Kaiser doll stand. The 6.5" to 10" work well for Legends, Neca, McFarlane DC, etc. They're made of metal and I've never had a problem with them. The 5"-6" stands are little small for male Legends figures but they work pretty well with female Legends, DC Icons, and SHF. I'm going to be using the ones I have more selectively for my figures now that the price has jumped. But for something like my Mezco Iron Man, which is partially made of die cast, it's staying in its Kaiser stand.

@En Sabah
Can you provide a little more info on the Obitsu stands? Such as price, size, and where you're buying them.

Just found these on Amazon. For $17, you get 12 stands which is pretty good. They have to be assembled though.

I've ordered mine off of Amazon, it's usually a 5-pack for $25 but the price can vary. The base is roughly 8cm diameter, the arm lengths are about 8.5cm, 10cm, and 11.5 cm, and there are three "claw" sizes which hold Legends well. Tools are not included with them so it is necessary to already have a small screwdriver for assembly and a diagonal cutter to properly free some of the pieces.

After getting Thena and Ajak, I’ve ordered the whole wave. This are excellent figures, and I for one cannot wait to perhaps venture for fist time to the cinema to see the film (I’ve just got my third vaccination).
Wasn’t collecting MCU figures anymore, but the uniformity and metallic colours, plus the homage to Kirby has won me over.
