Not the best BAF ever (that shell piece on his back could have been designed a little better to not fall off or block arm movement)but just having an Armadillo is pretty frickin' sweet- the guy works as a thug for almost everyone in the MU at some point

Excellent homage! Always been a big fan of Stuart Immonen.

Thanks HHF! Agree on Immonen, one of those artists that you can just feel the life in his work.

I'm enjoying the Armadillo BAF and like it more than quite a few of the recent offerings, but maybe Hasbro could come up with a new shoulder-plating scheme....I thought they had with Iron Centurion and Nova...

And, yes, more Hulk and Strange foes/friends would be great:

U-Foes
Hulk Hunters: Torgo, Darkcrawler, and Amphibian
Dress Blues (Greens? Browns?) General Ross
Doc Samson (2 versions please - I need the red leather-racing gloves-ponytail madness)
Zzzax
Rick Jones (I'm surprised we don't already have him)
A-Bomb
Madman
Tyrannus
Mole Man & Moloids
Mecha-Hulk with a Gargoyle instead of Gremlin who could come with Titanium Man (to one up Toy Biz)
Red King
Caiera
Jarella
Bereet
Skaar
The Warbound
The Pantheon
Amadeus Cho and Cho-Hulk
Nightmare
Baron Mordo
The Ancient One
Clea
Wong
Rintrah
Umar
Jezebel
etc

In other news - my 'Flame-off' Johnny Storm and Excalibur sets should be here tomorrow and my "invisible" Invisible Woman and X-force orders should be shipping in the next couple.

HIIIIP...HOP! HOORAY! YEAH BOYEEEEE!

Great picture Bo Tef! And great likeness to the cover, as intended.

TBM I agree about coming up with something else for shell plates. Maybe instead of one large piece it's broken down into two pieces? It would bring greater range of motion but, then you'd have an unsightly gap in most poses, so maybe that wouldn't work after all. Like with Armor that was discussed, it's a tricky one.

Amazingly enough I got my Excalibur set today, I'm actually really surprised that once the UPS label was created, it went out and actually arrived so quickly. That's the last of my preorders at this point. It feels kind of weird not to have anything at all pending. But a good, necessary feeling. I wish I'd gone ahead and ordered X-Force now that it's shipping this month, but ah well, that's the risk.

Regarding Excalibur, Shadowcat looks a lot better in person, particularly the hair. I still think it needs a redo and hope for a closer to accurate single release, but for now, I'm oddly okay with it. I also think the sleeves should have been puffier, but it's not as off as the hair is.

Speaking of hair....Meggan is our hairiest Marvel Legend yet, outside of Medusa, which that was the whole point of her. I haven't tried standing her but I've read there's issues with balance. I can imagine. It's....a lot. And that headsculpt is really disappointing, but she wasn't ever really a high priority character for me, I can overlook it.

Captain Britain, this is the second....maybe third time Hasbro's released him? Or maybe it is just two and the one from Toy Biz. I honestly can't remember now if this is his 3rd or 4th figure. At any rate, he's okay. When you get to multiple iterations of a character, I'm usually less inclined to be interested.

This pack was really all about Shadowcat for me. And while she's not perfect, it's still money well spent as that outfit was a huge want for the collection. I consider that taken care of now, if not perfectly.

Now all we need is an updated Banshee, Avalanche, Angel, and most especially Mandarin, along with the rumored Viper, and the straight up "same outfit" re-done characters can be finished as far as I'm concerned.

Hasbro show me THIS for the day of remembrance that I was ejected from the womb! (with better image cropping)

(sorry I've got a tooth infection and I'm on antibiotics prior to having it pulled, and either the infection or the antibiotics are making me do strange things!)

Nice picks, Captain Nash! I'd love to see a "Marvel Legends: Avengers" wave based solely on George Perez's art and see figures for characters like Safari jacket Wonder Man, Beast, Heroes Return Iron Man and Ms. Marvel a.k.a. Warbird included. Is making your own Build-A-Wave roster free or do you have to pay in order to do that? I'm tempted to make some myself, but that depends on if it's free or not. Being perpetually broke does that to a fella.

I hope you all are having a great day and have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe, True Believers!

I'd like to add all of these to the collection, but only two make sense together! Ha!

And if they figure out an effective way to handle Exodus costume/shoulder pauldrons/shoulder sash and head/neck/shoulder articulation (there's a lot goin' on there), then they have to supply a Sersi so I can have her beat him up!

That would be great. Which by the way, such sad news about George Perez. His reaction to his diagnosis though is truly inspiring and I wish him the best he can make of his remaining days, and as little pain as possible. He is a legend and will always be remembered for being legendary.

Sorry, I missed your question in there (my brain really isn't right right now). It's connected to another site which if you want to sign up it's a one time charge for $20, but there's no additional charge for the actual BAW page. I guess at some point I signed up for it in the past, probably on some silly whim. If I hadn't already had signed up, I wouldn't have today for sure. But, there's more going on with that main page than just the BAW link features.

Edit: @TBM, Exodus is my highest priority X-Men related figure at this point. Those four I mentioned come before any redos and upgrades, funny, now they're the four that are "must haves" when 5 years ago they probably were not even top 10. Funny how that works. but yeah with Exodus, he's had a few varied looks but they all sort of run together (hair style excepting). His little wings are the main thing I'm concerned how they'll do, if they ever make him. He's absolutely got to have those, they've been on all of his 616 universe looks.

I absolutely want an Atlas BAF. They've done a fairly nice job filling out most of the starting Thunderbolts line-up, so I feel that has to be coming at some point.

True but that also explains the issue, same with MCU Mantis. In both cases there's a solid chance that when the next movies are rolling around we'll get these characters as individuals or maybe in two-packs.

you get it. I was lucky to get Mantis since her wave had a lot of characters I needed. Okoye's wave was crap. If I have to wait till Black Panther 2 for Okoye so be it.
