Only if they make another Ultimate Wolverine who can spy on them from the bushes.... (It's from the comics!)

I also did something similar with the Select Venom and Monster Venom...though I opted to keep the spider logo since Ultimate Venom has been depicted both with and without it...but an official release would be nice. I sure hope we get some more Ultimate Universe versions. I'm dying for Ultimate Iron Man as it's my favorite looking suit of his ever, and I'm quite frankly shocked that we haven't received an Ultimate Nick Fury since Hasbro's dark days, considering he's the direct inspiration for his MCU look. |

That Ultimate Hulk discussion was probably me. I chopped up and repainted the MS figure a while back to make one. Took a bit of work as the headsculpts for those older Select figures are not compatible in any way with Legends, but I was happy with the result.

I would Venom as well but he's a bit too expensive to do that with now. It makes me happy to know there are others who want a more expanded Ultimate Universe. I think Ultimate versions of the character would sell well. I try to stick to main 616 so I would save some money. Although I do have that new Ultimate Cap on pre-order but that's just because I need the BAF part. I hate when that happens haha.

It could be a technical issue, but it’s starting to look like the rumors about Dorksidetoys going out of business are true. Looking around on their site, I can’t find a single preorder for any brand. Most of their items are marked New Arrival or Sale. Overall, it just feels like a lot has been trimmed away.

I've never ordered from Dorkside Toys, but if it's true, that's awful news. Since figures have gotten so expensive, I wish I could say I was surprised. Even so, I heard more positive than negative things about Dorkside and I feel bad for everyone affected by it going out of business, especially just a few weeks before the holidays.
As a side note, I don't know if anyone read, but Dan Yun made a new Tweet a few hours ago, writing I think it’s time Dwight and I pause on watching World Cup games…and start revealing some Marvel Legends figures. I'm curious as to what the next reveals will be and when the next Marvel Legends video will take place. I hope you all are having a wonderful night and stay safe. |

I hope you all are having a wonderful night and stay safe. Just to say it, it is sad to see Dorkside possibly shutting down. It's giving me flashbacks to Megaopolis. I strictly use Hasbro Pulse, Big Bad Toy Store or Nerdzoic these days. Not trying to say that any of them are going to last forever, but I've never had a problem with them. I also know Matt from Nerdzoic, so I feel like I can trust him. |

If anyone missed the Excalibur 3 pack, BBTS has it on pre-order for $70 with a January release date.

I'd say the fall of Dorkside hits harder since they've been around for near a decade, Megalopolis was only up for a couple of years and they had that whole crowdfunding scam thing.

We also got the new Transformers and Indiana Jones trailers today too... good trailer day.
I've been stalking my Target with Popfindr everyday for like a month and finally the Spiderman Noir hit and I was able to get the 2nd to last one at my Target... and on sale too. I know he is a reuse of the What if T'Challa Starlord, but I love this figure... he is just too cool looking. Just need Peni Parker now. |

I read a post on Fwoosh that somebody wanted a Marvel Legends Shuma-Gorath figure, I thought that name wasn't allowed to be used, or is it just for his appearance in MCU's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?

According to Wikipedia, Heroic Signatures holds the rights to the Shuma-Gorath name, due to its use in Howard's story, along with additional elements related to the Conan the Barbarian and Kull of Atlantis mythos, which is licensed to Marvel Comics.
note: That last part about the Marvel Comics licensing is confusing, I know. |

I think as long as the figure were explicitly comic-based they'd be able to use Shuma-Gorath's name since it's evident that Marvel Comics and Heroic Signatures have good relations (unless something happened recently that I'm unaware of).

No doubt Hasbro will just make a "comic book based" Marvel Legends Shuma-Gorath figure if they can't use the name for an MCU based figure, whether it be Deluxe or Build-A-Figure.

They can make the MCU version, they'd just have to market him as "Gargantos". But either way you can still call him Shuma-Gorath on your shelf.

Just paint that Force Awakens Rathtar toy green, pop an eyeball in his mouth and instant make-shift Gargantos! Probably more suitably sized to 3 3/4 figures though haha

Shuma-Gorath was created by Robert Howard in one of his Conan stories, so while Shuma has shown up in Marvel books throughout the years he technically belongs to Heroic Signatures. It's just that Marvel and Heroic Signatures have an ongoing deal to use the name. Apparently this deal didn't extend to Marvel Studios and they didn't want to bother getting permission for the name since the creature is only in one scene so they dug up the name of a sort of similar monster Namor fought once.
