I agree, but my wife wanted it. Actually, Sailor Moon is the only thing there that's mine movie/game wise.

Seems cool. I love the pinless joints and his weapons, but I prefer the head he had on the original as it looked more battle ridden. Unfortunately, the skin tone on this new one is way too light to be able to swap them. Other than that though, he's great and him coming with additional hands was cool.

Tombstone is pretty awesome outside of him not having any head rotation. I know they've got his neck on a ball joint, but NECA does the same thing while still having the neck and head separated. Both face sculpts are incredible and fit him very well. Not sure why they gave him a gun holding hand without packing a gun with him, but okay. The figure feels really nice. I could easilly see them at least reusing the legs for a Man Mountain Marko figure and maybe even Ox if they ever do the Enforcers.

It's pegged into the torso at the broach just like Madelyne's, so removing it means having a hole in her chest. The lines on her torso are also part of the sculpt. It seems like the majority of the budget for the anniversary program went to tooling new parts for Lilandra and Lady Mandarin

New Stuff!
Thanks to @Spyne98 I was able to complete The Void. Got Jack O'Lantern and Hallow's Eve, Jack is a really awesome figure, does anyone know where I could get another one of those flight stands? I borrowed Demogoblin's for pics but he needs it back. I Don't know much about Eve,but she looked like a fun character and we need more Villainesses in the line, I'm probably going to repaint her hair to match the pictures I've seen of her. Speaking of repaints, I painted the Goblin Queen's legs to match and repainted the skintone on the Dark Phoenix head to match that pallid pink nnightmare. Lastly I popped the Maddie head on the green Phoenix body

It's a mix, I use Army Painter Warpaints, the skintone is 4 parts Pure Red and 1 part Deep Blue, then I added white until it was light enough

After getting my new "X-Men '97" figures, I must say that
- Nightcrawler is all right, but I thought the tail should have been bendable wire. The lack of an alternate smiling head and the absence of his sword is also a downgrade compared to the original figure. - My Jean Grey is very disappointing. The elbows are way too high, the arms are too stiff, the ponytail keeps falling off, and the alternate head with long hair can't move left or right for me, nor do I think it's even supposed to. - After years of being unable to find the Warlock wave figure and the "Love Triangle" three-pack, I've finally got my favorite X-Man ever, Cyclops, in the Jim Lee era uniform and with an alternate head with an optic blast accessory to get hooked into. I was NOT disappointed, at all. He is easily my favorite of the three and I'm still debating whether to have the smirking head sculpt or the alternate head with optic blast on the figure, as both look even better in person than in the photos and online. As for tomorrow's reveals, I'm not expecting much from the Con. I'm sure we'll see plenty of new stuff revealed in April and in May, though. I'm just hoping we'll see more "X-Men", "Avengers" and "Spider-Man" figure reveals, along with the rumored Retro "Iron Man" animated wave. |

Did you not know the Nightcrawler tail was not going to be a bendy wire? I ask becaue the original one wasn't either. Hasbro said back then that safety standards does not allow a bendy wire for something as small as Nightcrawler's tail anymore.
I couldn't care less about a sword he doesn't actually wield in the comics, but I do think there should have been a smiling head or something. The expression is barely any different between the ones we got.

And yet there are nearly a dozen comic pictures of him wielding a cutlass. Sorry bout your failed gaslighting
That would be no feet no?

@Dr Kain - No, I didn't know the tail wasn't going to be bendable. I didn't know it wasn't allowed to be used for his tail anymore, so thank you for the explanation/clarification.
That said, I don't know why he didn't come with a sword. And if anyone has seen those "X-Men '97" clips already with Nightcrawler, you'll know why I brought it up. Also, as a follow-up question to those who got it, how is the elbow articulation on the "Love Triangle" Jean compared to the "X-Men '97" one? The elbows on mine are ridiculously too high up. If I'd known about this before I did my Top 10 list on The Fwoosh, I would've listed a Jim Lee/Gold Team Jean Grey figure on my list. She's that bad. @Veronica Mars - Be thankful it's not the Rob Liefeld chest sculpt. Just ask "Heroes Reborn" Captain America. |

A lot of people are convinced the Nightcrawler we've seen in the 97 show previews is just Morph again

The Hasbro Panel is 3PM PST, it's going to include all the brands so there's no way to know when the Legends stuff is going to be
